They troll unopposed for 50 days and now that the Man has finally begun to crack down on them and arresting members its "farewell sweet princes of the internet, we always loved you"?

Good riddance to every last one of them says I!

Also wasn't Hitler more of a dog man?

Good riddance, I say. They're a nuisance that I doubt anyone will miss. Nothing about them was lulzy in the least, but I didn't find them threatening, either. They were just obnoxious.

As they say, good riddance to bad rubbish. Their little farewell thing is a poor recovery, but I suppose saying "whoops, the blind dispassionate loathing and vitriolic demand for revenge from the entire Internet seems to have caught up with us" would be too difficult.

Quoth the captcha: SILENCE futityp. Silence indeed.

Please say they took Anon with them.

Anyway, yeah, glad they left. Citibank is still pissed at their antics, as are there users.
They can't take Anon with them. The only way Anon's going away is with censorship or removal of the internet.
I know, but they joined forces, so I was hoping they would both go. One can always hope

Sorta sad to see them go since i loved how they proved that not everything is safe and also lessons on how to not fail your company losing it's customer's data.

Good riddance. Those guys were a bunch of assholes.
....I agree with this statement.

Fuck these guys. The stood for nothing, and all it took was a little piece of pressure to break them.

I couldn't care less what some self-righteous idiots who think they're bulletproof do. If they get arrested, cool. If they don't, cool. If they catch a bullet in the head, cool. Waste of every resource this world has to offer.

I think many from this forum are free with the 'hate' as they attacked many sites/organizations, that had nothing to do with 'anti-govt' or 'bad for the people' ideals, for example, this site, eve and several other gaming sites.
If their work had been more consistent and vigilante - they would have more mainstream support (if nothing else)

Ahahahaha, this parting statement is LulzSec through and through. Pretending to be one of the cool antiestablishment politically active hacktivist groups and ending up looking like total douchebags. Give us this crap about what a difference they made...bullshit. They pissed a lot of people off but it was predominantly the bog-standard gaming, loling public they screwed with. And people go on about how they made hacktivism more mainstream...maybe it's just because I read a leftwing newspaper but I've seen ~50 articles on Anonymous in the last year or so and not ONE on LulzSec. Because LulzSec are nothing. They aren't hacktivists, they aren't even hackers, they're unpleasant douchebags who've run for the hills at the idea of being found out.

Good riddance, I don't think they have achieved anything but pissing a bunch of people off.

I think because this is a gaming website, and gaming got hit hardest out of the smaller, and some of the bigger, companies, I should not be spammed with he did it for the lulz posts.
