Rising Dawn: Brig - Connecting Hallway: Teri, Garm, Elise, Luke, Violet, Rory, Dillon Kazuya

[color=eca222]"Last I checked, this girl's soul belonged to someone much higher than you. Of all the ferrymen I was expecting, you weren't one of them. Tell me, Dillon how did you manage to beat old Azrael to the punch? Steal his powers too?"[/color]
Dillon Laughed But his eyes were cold under his mask,
"I see your as charming as the day you were cast out of heaven Lucifer, However I didn't have to beat Azrael to anything My raven Informed him of of death aboard the Dawn and he straight up refused, he told me he wants nothing to do with this cursed crew, you like to defy death so much he started drinking, but I never stole anyone's power I am here because I proved my own potential.

[color=eca222]"Admonish me all you want, she wasn't completely dead yet. Plenty of time for a random act of benevolence to shift the course of her path. I just happened to be here. Besides, why would I willingly give you something I plan to make mine?"[/color]

The room got eerily silent once more. Luke could feel the raven's eyes piercing into his soul.
"And does She Know you don't intend to let her go? How long will you force her to live? until her father dies? Her friends? and what about the eternity after that? or the eternity later? eternal life is no gift to humanity Lucifer, It is merely a manifestation of their greed a trait this girl lacks."

Almost on cue, the girl being talked about groaned, and her eyes opened again, looking up towards the man holding her with a confused expression, [color=0E59E4]"Luke? What are you - what's-?"[/color]
He tapped his oaken staff to the ground and slipped off his crow mas revealing a second black human face mask underneath. The other could much more clearly see him he had done this after Rugal had left though he knelt down to Teri. Whom had been able to see him the entire time, he knelt down low so he was only slightly above her.
"You possess a strong soul Child of God, your Heart is pure and kind. I fear though, before your time comes you will see those whom you cannot help. I was to take your soul to another world but to show I am not a monstrous creature accept this token from me" He pulled off one of his many rings this one had Nordic runes on the inside the outside had a depiction of Niddhog curling around the ring.
"This ring is special, If there is one dear to you and you fear the safety of their soul place this ring on their finger and I shall ferry them to where Charon will not, whats more you fear not forever part with them, for they shall be able to speak to you in your dreams, This is a fine ring and it pays the ferryman well."
He then stood and both ravens ruffled their feathers, there was something oddly familiar about his voice to Teri, but before should could question it he spread his cloak and dissipated leaving only a black raven feather with a white bar across it to drift down and fall into her lap. The Raven King had left.

Rising Dawn: Canteen Bar
Boss, Icarus, Cadolbolg, Caim

"Can I sit on your head? Father says I can only do it if I ask first."
Icarus followed Cadolbolgs eyes to his head, then looked at The turtle dragons claws. He willed in his hand is raven shaped helmet. Putting it on he nodded
"Ok now you can sorry but My scalp is kinda sensitive and my sister would pull my hair often so I kinda don't wanna go through that again. just don't dig your claws in."
While the whole spectacle was amusing to Caim, another question struck his mind. Taking a thoughtful sip of his drink, his PDA continued to speak,
Code:
"If your father's Dillon... Why did he send you here? Is this one of those 'you need to journey to mature' things?"
Icarus looked at Caim.
"No I came to this plane and this timeline on my own will, I'm kinda from the future, One where a monster managed to consume the world and them came to where I lived and my dad died during the fight, I had some.... help tell me if I killed the monster when it first appeared I could prevent the disaster, I managed to do that after I was done I came here because.....well My father spoke very highly of the Dawn saying when he was younger it was his favorite memories, He didn't tell me to come here nor did he forbid it in fact the most he told me was when he, he passed he asked me to take care of my mother and sister, and I-I couldn't....." He stopped and took a drink from his ice water.
"I came here because I was weak, My father is gone forever because I wasn't strong enough and I never EVER want to be weak like that again"
He burst out, it had been building in him for so long he finally let it out.

Rising Dawn: Medical Bay - Front Door: Angelus, Dolores, Selena
[color=CC8899]Ship's medic to the Infirmary. Ship's medic to the Infirmary! We need you there, STAT![/color]

Selena heard the alarm she had been clearing her mind by meditation when the call interrupted her, but if someone was that terribly injured, she decided she may as well provide some sort of help, even if the medic was on their way, she scooped up as many healing ointments and potions she could, it wasn't your tradition medicine but she had learned to take care of herself while living on her own.
She arrived and Brushed past the two women at the door "Excuse me" She said and walked into the medical bay with a bag full of elixirs potions, poultices and powders.
"Umm excuse me I heard there was a medical emergency, I'm not a trained nurse but I have a lot of good healing supplies, and If you need some sort of help" She offered meekly, she wasn't typically used to healing people by volunteer usually people came to her and he's heal them, she got her wand ready binding spells were surprisingly useful on wounds.

Dolores... Who?
Katya Rostikova | Ruby Babbage-Lovelace | Angelus | Dolores Selmy | Selena
[hr]

"Right, State the nature of your medical emergency..."

Ruby Babbage-Lovelace. Nine years Old. Female. Human by appearance. Place of Origin: Unknown. That bit of basic information was all that was known of the unconscious young patient that lay outside of the Operating Room inside the Rising Dawn's Medical Bay. A field medic went through his preliminary examinations of the girl and could not, for the life of him, determine what the cause of her ailments were. The youthful skin was jaundiced, indicating liver failure and yet a quick scan of her blood showed no abnormalities besides an elevated amount of an unknown protein. Her perspiring forehead shimmered under the intense light of the medical grade examination lamp. She moaned lightly when the Field Medic pressed the cold chestpiece of his stethoscope against her bare skin.

"[color=CC8899]How in the hell should I know, Doc?"[/color]" The Hacker responded as she watched him attempt to determine just what it was that was ailing the young girl, "[color=CC8899]First, she was casting some sort of spell and then she's face first on the floor for a spell.[/color]"

For what it was worth, the wounds that Katya had sustained during the brawl had healed thanks to B3WP's medical assistance. The stress of the flight home, ARES-35 pushing the responsibility of taking care of the little kid and having to improvise a landing aboard the Airship had done a number of her nerves. She started pacing the length of the room, stopping when she noticed Dolores Selmy and Angelus.

"Somethings are so hard to remember... Ruby, what did happen to you?" The lady being escorted in by Angelus asked.

Angelus... the sight of her caused Katya to flush intensely as she remembered her previous encounter with the Berserker Swordsman. Turning her head as not to show her discomfort and embarrassment to the she-dragon, Katya responded to Selmy's question.

"[color=CC8899]She's unconscious... so she's not in really any position to remember. The question though is how in the hell do you know her? She's been looking for someone named Mister Oberon. Does that name right a bell to you?[/color]" The Hacker turned detective asked before noticing another person enter the room, this one holding a wand of all things. Pointing at the unconscious nine-year-old, Katya responded to Selena's question, "[color=CC8899] Yeeeah. I think she could use your help.[/color]"

Walking about the room, the young Miss Rostikova couldn't stop worrying about the child in the cot.

"
Code:
Little Miss, I apologize for the intrusion but I have been browsing through the ship's medical records, it shows that Miss Babbage-Lovelace is not the only person to have suffered from these symptoms. It appears that someone else has gone through this and mysteriously recovered. A patient by the name of Dolores Selmy was admitted and released this very night.
"

"[color=CC8899]Who in the hell is Dolores Selmy?![/color] Katya Rostikova exclaimed loudly.

The Escapist Avatar Adventures | Airship: Rising Dawn | The Brig
Three Strikes Rule...
Rory Mercury | Dillon | Elise the Spider Queen | Garm | Luke | Rugal Bernstein | Teri the Cleric | Violet
[hr]

When the Japanese Self Defense Force arrived and set up their base of operations on top of Arnus Hill, they brought many things to the Empire besides their overwhelming military might. People dying from diseases which could only be cured by the wisest (and most expensive) of healers, were suddenly cured with just a simple injection or pill. The quality of food served to simple farm folk increased significantly with the introduction of new seasonings and farming methods. New tools made the once difficult and back breaking of the Imperial citizen simpler.

Of these things, Rory Mercury was most interested in Japanese Culture and History. One of the things that had been introduced to her by the members of the JSDF was the Japanese sport of Baseball. The objective of the game was simple, hit a small white ball as far as possible and run around the perimeter of a diamond shaped playing field. Though its time in the Empire was short lived, thanks to a sudden decrease in the availability of baseballs after its introduction to a certain Oracle with Super Human Strength, it was one of the games that the young looking Priestess of Employ enjoyed playing. There was a certain part of the Japanese past time that reminded Rory of the situation that she was in now, specifically what happened when the player at bat failed to hit the ball when it was thrown in the "strike box" or to be more specific, the situation that she found herself in reminded her of the three strikes rule.

The First strike was the guards pointing their weapons at Rory when she pinned their master under the blade of her Halberd. Had they not received the memorandum in regards to the Demi-Goddess' power of regeneration? Had they not reviewed the video of her being riddled with bullet holes only to have the wounds heal not one second later? Had they not seen the immensity of the carnage the giggling girl dressed in her gothic lolita-esque uniform had caused on the battlefield. Were it not for the fact that it was highly probable that others, such as the ship's medic, bartender and prisoners, would get caught in the cross fire, the intellectually challenged guards would have witnessed their blood being splattered on the walls of this prison.

The Second strike was this Rugal Bernstein's explanation of why this sort of inhumane action was allowed on this ship, by its apparent leader no less. Turning to face the man who had the audacity to place his hand on her Halberd, the Oracle's lanced Rugal with a piercing gaze, one that spoke volumes of the anger that seethed beneath her crimson eyes.

"I assume you know what happened then? ...I wish I had an explanation that would make this entire mess better...but I don't. Kazuya Mishima was aiding us in an operation to stop a power mad psychopath from taking over one of the largest countries in the world. I knew he had personal history with the subjects we were detaining, but I didn't-...no...I "chose" to believe that he wouldn't let his emotions get the better of him. But I was wrong and now someone paid the price. I'm not sure if this is of any comfort to you, but I'm sorry this came to pass."

He was right, his explanation was of little comfort to the Priestess of Emloy. That they would willingly allow someone like this to not only aid them but effectively act as their leader showed how naive this group was. To believe that a man would not be overcome by his emotions was like hoping not to die sometime in the future. It was simply inevitable. Even the demi-goddess had trouble keeping her own emotions in check at times. This was forgivable, however. She had never killed an unarmed and harmless prisoner.

"You think that being overwhelmed by his emotions has anything to do with this?" Death's Right Hand Woman asked rhetorically, " This has nothing to do with his emotions. This has everything to do with the fact that he thought it was perfectly fine to severely harm a prisoner in his care. This has to do with the fact that despite knowing this sort of act was in his character, you allowed him into any sort of leadership capacity with your group, The Rising Dawn. You are just as foolish to have allowed this as these men were foolish to point their weapons at me."

Without so much as a grunt, the Demi-Goddess removed the weapon from the ground, unpinning the wounded Kazuya, before resting the giant Halberd on her shoulder. She was still unhappy with allowing this pitiful excuse for a Japanese man to continue breathing. That Kazuya shared Itami's ancestry and none of his ethics was a stain on Japan. Turning her back on Rugal, she started leaving the Brig, unsure as to her future with this band of "heroes." While there were those who was just plain fools, there appeared to be ones who were genuinely interested in the selfless performance of acts of good. She paused briefly and turned back to those left in the brig.

" You should know that the one known as Doom is not dead yet. Shouldn't you be stopping those men carrying his body?" With that she stepped back into the corridor and called for Naamah.

"Naamah, does this Airship have a library of this group's... activities?" The Demi-Deity asked as she walked down the cold metal corridors, " I'd like to know more about this group that claims to be heroes. That they would allow these sort of activities aboard their own ship by one of their own members is unconscionable. Despite Rugal's claims to the contrary, one cannot associate with another and not be associated with their acts."

Dolores Selmy

I was shocked. Katya had turned to address me. I spoke up, "Master hacker," I said meekly, "I... I am Dolores Selmy." I felt so lame. Three heroes had addressed me today, yet I could not muster the self-confidence to speak to them as equals. They seemed so distant, exotic, beautiful. To me they were gods among men. Some of them were even legitimately gods! Dolores, Dolores, Dolores; what an awful name. She who suffers, that is what my name means. I suffer. What father gives his daughter such a heavy name.

[color=CC8899]"You? You went through what she's going through? Why'd... What... How'd you get it to stop and how do you know her?"[/color] Katya's voice cut through the air like a knife. She walked up to me and looked at me in the eye. My stomach dropped and my throat was dry.

"I do not know, but I do know." It was the best answer I could give. I closed my eyes and shook my head. "It's impossible. The Ruby I knew was a young girl. She was nine years of age and had white-black hair. She was a kind oblivious child who loved nothing more than learning magic."

Katya raised an eyebrow. That certainly fit the bill.

"Yet, she was nine years old four years ago." I shook my head again and closed my eyes, "She was the adopted child between Tania le Fey and Oberon le Fey. They lived in my hometown, they ran a bakery. Tania was too small to have a child naturally so they adopted Ruby... There is no way. It is impossible, they cannot be the same Ruby.

As for my own illness. I can scarce remember anything from it. It was the master cleric that brought me out of my sickness. That is what Molli and John told me not long after I awoke. " I bowed my head in shame. "Sorry I can be of no further use!"

There was a pause.

The First Lieutenant

Dolly was always a shy girl underneath her false bravado. I spoke next, "Best be keep Wild Magic away from the girl though. If anything I should think that it will worsen her state da ze." I tried to suppress a smile. It was too good. Dolly's bowed head hid my eyes from Katya. The teen did not suspect a single thing.

"If I had to hazard a guess da ze," I continued, "I would have the master hacker move a full three meters away from Ruby. See if the issue does not resolve itself soon afterward da ze."

There was a pause.

Dolores Selmy

"I'm really really sorry! That's... all... I... know...?" I looked up. Katya looked upset. What did I do? I couldn't remember anything from the past fifteen seconds or so. I blinked hard. Tears began to wet my eyes.

Carefree Daughter

"That something I can do is," Naahmah chimed as she dropped down from the ceiling onto Rory's shoulder. She snaked around the nape of her neck and settled her head against the girl's lackluster chest. Her body glowed - those stars within her form began to spread - and let loose a brilliant display of starlight. "Everything and more," she purred.

"To your feel look of all the things I have recorded," she let the stars shimmer before Rory. They fell in line and began to construct videos of intense and vivid quality. "From the beginning begin. The first sin I bore witness."

They played, recordings of everything that happened on the ship since Naamah's arrival. A reaper, a kitsune, a knight of shadow. They played large roles in ages past. Then a young man, born of a world separate stole into himself the light of the heavens. Six other stones scattered. Five destroyed, one missing. In this vein Naamah continued and relayed all the events in a concentrated form to Rory. A mage in red, a woman without an eye. An alchemist of great strength quelled by gods beyond. Strange sights like a man born of flame and a boy with a golden device. A half-ghost girl and a hell-raven with the power of the sun. A red-eyed ninja and a bipolar paladin-demigod. There were many people and more. People in the Dawn now, and people who were not.

But.

Strangely, between the recordings, a disproportionate amount of time was spent watching one couple - a puce haired man and a blue haired doll.

Hello everyone! Hopefully simply posting a prospective sheet here is the way it's supposed to go. (At least, it is according to @Generic NPC 22:, so here goes.) Feel free to give me whatever feedback or tweak suggestions you think of in the group!

Name: Sloth (True Name: Acedia)

Age: Unknown (Appears ~20 Years of Age)

Race: Anthropomorphic Personification (Appears Human)

Morality: Neutral Evil(?)

Origin: Original Character

Title(s): Leader of the Seven Fundamental Destructive Vices, Embodiment of Entropy, Gray Torpor, Apathy Given Form, The Eternal Sleeper, Lazy Bum.

Sloth is rarely ever seen outside of his dark gray robe, which is both inordinately heavy and far too large for him. The sleeves are too long and extend past his hands, while the hem trails behind him in a bunch. While they aren't outright dirty, they are dusty and some have noticed cobwebs here and there in the folds of the fabric. It is also littered with half-mended tears, as if someone had started to crudely sew them together with mismatching thread, but simply gave up halfway.

Despite the state of general disrepair that his robes have, it's clear that they were meant to be regal, or even intimidating, due to the fact that it is accompanied by sharp pauldrons made out of what looks like tarnished silver, with several red rectangular charms hanging from the edges. He also has a long black sash with thin red lettering at the edges wrapped around his waist, and it appears to be made of silk.

Lastly, he has a single medallion, made out of the same silver as his pauldrons, stitched into the chest of his robes with additional red writing along the edge, and a black seven-pointed star in the center.

Taking the form of a young human man, Sloth is almost exceptionally tall yet scrawny, with no noticeable body fat or muscle tone whatsoever. His skin is fair, his eyes are a pale blue and they clearly look sleep-deprived complete with shadows underneath. His face is long, clean shaven, with a slightly pointed chin, angular nose, and above his eyes are slashing gray eyebrows and a high forehead. His hair, long enough to come down to his waist, is a dingy gray, and particularly keen observers would be able to spot the occasional remnants of cobwebs between some of the locks of his hair.

More often than not, he is asleep. When he isn't asleep, he's slouching, which belies his true height. It's also a rare occurrence for his face to not be slack, with his mouth partly open, his eyes halfway closed, and his head gently bobbing as if threatening to doze off at any given moment.

As the Anthropomorphic Personification of his namesake Vice, Sloth has access to a variety of reality-bending powers that fall under the purview of Entropy, Apathy, and Torpor. However, an unfortunate side effect of his very nature means that use of his powers are determined by his wakefulness.

- When Completely Awake, Sloth can use his powers to their fullest extent: He can completely stop multiple animate objects or even people, to the extent of stopping their bodily functions and killing them, rapidly accelerate the effects of time (Such as decay or aging), and strongly affect the will of people to the point of putting them to sleep or greatly sapping their will and motivation.

- When Mostly Awake, Sloth can completely stop several animate objects or a single person in their entirety, but not to the extent of killing them. He can also moderately accelerate the effects of time on an object, and significantly influence a person's will, such as making them sleepy or somewhat less motivated.

- When Half Awake, Sloth can significantly slow down several inanimate objects or a single person, as well as mildly affect the will and wakefulness of others.

- When Partly Asleep, Sloth can only somewhat slow down objects or a person, and affect the will of those who are already weak-willed to begin with.

- When Fully Sleep, Sloth is completely invulnerable to any kind of harm, but cannot use any of his magic.

Beyond his more "active" powers, Sloth also has a kind of regenerative property to both his body as well as his robes. After several hours, whatever wounds his body has sustained, or stains and tears his robes have gotten, they will simply vanish. This is largely due to him "forgetting" to sustain said wounds, stains and tears and essentially resetting his being back to it's default form. However, mortal wounds that would kill him within those several hours, will kill him.

Another, apparently unintended side effect of his reality bending powers is that he is, despite his scrawny figure, inordinately heavy. When measured, his weight tends to come up to just above half a ton. No one has been able to explain why that is, and if Sloth knows why, he isn't telling.

Lastly, he also has what he would explain as "Contractual Immortality". Essentially, while he has a mortal body and can certainly be killed, since he is the personification of a force of nature, it effectively banishes him back to his home realm where he will slowly reform as if nothing had happened.

At a glance, Sloth's largest weakness is obviously his laziness: His complete and utter lack of motivation to do anything of real importance. To get him to do anything remotely significant is described as a herculean effort. He is also known to fall asleep at odd moments and in inconvenient places.

Sloth is also both extremely heavy, as well as physically weak. Though that would seem to be contradictory, it's been discovered that his weight is directly tied to his powers, and does not affect him as such. His general lack of strength, however, is completely natural.

Lastly, despite being completely invulnerable while asleep, the moment he is even partially awake he is as vulnerable as any other human man, and is able to be killed or wounded just as easily.

While there are numerous theories that state that the concepts of both Vice and Virtue were around since the beginning of time, that isn't true. The fact of the matter is that both Vice and Virtue came about a short time after sapient life had had their start, forming gradually as their various aspects manifested in people worlds over. The first to come about were, naturally, the Seven Fundamental Destructive Vices, with the corresponding Fundamental Saving Virtues following shortly thereafter.

They manifested outside of conventional time and space as both influencing forces and impartial observers, able to watch the various worlds where their aspects manifested, which invariably meant all of them. However, they were each under what they simply called The Contract: They were to never overtly influence the course of history on any of the worlds they observed unless specifically ordered to, and if they were to ever manifest on a physical world, they were to inhabit a mortal form that could not use the fullest extent of their powers.

But as was their nature, the Vices bickered among themselves, arguing over anything and everything they could. For their potential freedom from The Contract so that they could go out and influence any world where they saw fit. Living spaces. Entertainment. Whose turn it was to take a busman's holiday on one of the many world's they watched over. And who would ultimately be their official leader.

It was after one particularly heated argument over leadership that Avarita, the Embodiment of Greed, had looked at Sloth and realized that they had been looking at that particular argument all wrong. Superbia, Embodiment of Pride, wanted someone who would take charge of the Seven and had nominated herself without fail every time the subject was broached. And every time, the other five would staunchly refuse. But Sloth never voted or nominated on who should be leader. He never did anything of real importance. So, in a fit of brilliance, Avarita nominated Sloth as their leader while he slept. He was almost unanimously accepted, five to one.

It was several centuries later that, to his dull surprise, he was finally called to perform his first duty as Leader of the Seven: To go and more directly exert his influence on one of the many worlds they were tasked to observe. A world called Earth.

- While Sloth can, and occasionally will, eat and drink, he has no real need to since he isn't human.

- One of the few things that Sloth carries with him no matter where he goes is a small, ornate music box. Whenever he happens to fall asleep, it always starts to play a gentle lullaby. Those that listen to it for very long, however, find the song it plays to be unsettling and creepy.

Rising Dawn: Brig: Teri, Garm, Elise, Rugal, Violet, Rory, Lucifer, Dillon, Kazuya

For what felt like the countless time, Rugal found himself being rightfully criticized for his inaction as the ships captain.
There was no really attempt to rebut or argue against those statements, merely a slow understanding nod as Rory called him out.
Still, he did perk up once she revealed that Doom was in-fact still alive, something that quickly animated him before he said "He is? But-...I thought-....Luke! Get Teri to Medical, we will Talk later!"
And with that, he quickly made his way towards where Doom's body was bring held, keen to rush him to any kind of medical attention.

[color=6c1504]"-Now, once the doors open, let me do the talking."[/color] The Dictator in Disguise said to his ally, who merely sighed before answering "Don't I always?...".
Once the doors opened, they were greeted as they were in most places: With guns in their faces [http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/metalgear/images/d/d1/Rising17.png/revision/latest?cb=20111004205611].
[color=6c1504]"Oh give it a rest, Steven. If you wanted to shoot me, you would have done it back at the fundraiser..."[/color] The rising star of the future VOP (Vega's Own Party) said as he calmly walked past the cyborgs with Iunart in tow.

As they entered the office, they were greeted with the following.

-A strange cyborg woman [http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/metalgear/images/e/e9/MGR_ConceptDesignArt_07_MGSTV.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140819202630] getting chatted up by a figure That looked nearly as female as she did [http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/square_small/11/116531/1656053-hien_5.png].
-The missing member of the President's Cabinet, now sporting a barcode on her forehead and serving drinks in a waitress's outfit.
-This happy looking character [http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/killerinstinct/images/6/68/Fulgore_Revealed.PNG/revision/latest?cb=20131122123526]
-And Steven Armstrong currently lighting up another cigar as he looked out into the Denver Skyline.

"...Got a lot of nerve walking into my town, Vincent...If that is your real name..."
[color=6c1504]"Says the one who framed me for kidnapping one of the President's personal advisers. Little tip for next time: I use professional teeth whitening service, not over the counter stuff."[/color] He said as he helped himself to a tumbler of whisky from the "Maid", something she didn't seem too trilled about.
"Noted. I'll keep that in mind when I'm recording your death scene. Now, you got my attention. Give me a reason why I shouldn't kill you for it."
[color=6c1504]"You want to be famous, Steven? Be a hero, live the drea-"[/color]
"We're not talking to voters here, you don't have to dress it up.
[color=6c1504]"Ah, force of habit. Put simply, I think you know the Rising Dawn are going to find me sooner or later."[/color]
"And I should care why? If anything, I should call them right now for sending that lizard primate bastar-"
"His name was Bruiser." Inuart grit though his teeth, actually prompting the senator to turn around.
"...Hm...Must have forgotten. They don't usually bury wanna-be assassins in marked graves-"
The Bard was almost about to draw his sword (As well as the ire of every guard in the room) until Vega stopped him.
[color=6c1504]"They aren't some kind of mercenary group who can be reasoned with. I know how they work, who they really are inside. This city? It means nothing to them. This little "Empire" of yours? Going to one big hole in the ground. All because they are after little old me..."[/color]
Strangely enough, Armstrong didn't have a comeback to that one, much to Vega's delight.
[color=6c1504]"And once the have to clean up the mess, I think there would be quite a few people who would want to look into the kind of business you are doing here...And in the sewers..."[/color]

Armstrong nearly choked on his cigar when he heard that statement, quickly turning around before demanding "How much do you know?!"
[color=6c1504]"Enough to tell them where to look. So how about instead of going about the usual Washington song and dance where nothing gets done and we actually try something bi-partisan for once in this countries history? Oh, and May I have one of these?..."[/color] Vega answered before picking up a cigar of his own, undoing the plastic before holding it out to be lit.
Tension hung in the air as Armstrong stared at this political rival, only to relent and flick open his lighter.
"Alright...so tell me this, Son. What did you have in mind?..." He asked while Vega took a nice long drag of his cigar, exhaling it before answering.

[color=6c1504]"Oh, nothing too special. We're just going to kill the Rising Dawn..."[/color]

[HEADING=2]Scene Advance: The Dawn began to Rise at the Rising Dawn (C wah I did thar?)[/HEADING]

Rising Dawn: Canteen/Bar: Rugal

After a "Lively" discussion with "Luke", Rugal decided to take his shift at the bar while he stayed by Teri's side during her recovery overnight.
Part of him was angry that she didn't tell him they were back together, another part was resenting himself for allowing the events of the day prior to transpire, but both parts of him agreed on one thing: He really needed a Drink. Several in fact.
As a result, the first thing he felt when he woke up was the prodding of a claw against the side of his head as he laid hunched over the bar counter.
Groaning as he began to wake up, he looked and saw several annoyed looking Imps cleaning up a few empty bottles of wine.
"[sub]Ohhhh piss off, I'll restock them if i'm still alive tomorrow...[/sub]" He said as he then picked himself up and marched to his room, hoping a cold shower would ease this hangover.

Rising Dawn: David's Room: David West

While he was largely unconnected from the events in the brig, it still left a sour taste in David's mouth.
He worked with Kazuya in the past and, while he was always a real hard ass, he didn't think he would go that far either.
Worse still, there was also the matter of if Violet would be able to even lead Kazuya's detachment while he was..."Healing".
Either way, it was best to get this US business sorted out and soon, Least with that out of the way, they would be free to take care of both Bison and Kazuya.
First things first, he began to make his way towards the Med-Bay, had to "Check up" on Furiae after all.

Rising Dawn Airspace: Borrowed Transport: Blade

Blade meanwhile was keeping a holding position in a aircraft near the main airship, Dimitri was nice enough to keep him off the radar as to not gather too much attention from "No Fly Zone" G-corp had tried to set up (That AI was always a sucker for lovers).
His target was in the city of Denver and he was going to make sure he got some answers out of it as to what he did to Jenny and Hiryu...
Least once this mission actually got started...
The Strider Groyvle checked his watch several times as the minutes rolled past, It wasn't like Furiae to be late, He was sure he gave her the right time.
Dammit...what the hell is taking her so long?...

Rising Dawn Medical: Kazuya/Violet/Doom

The night was a lot less peaceful for Kazuya, even with the sedatives in his blood keeping him largely immobile while his body healed.
Inside, he was festering with anger, even if his face didn't show it.
His men didn't leave their posts all night and though listening to their conversations, he was able to get a idea of what he would have to deal with once this was all over.
"-So there's nothing that can be gone? We can't vote on it?"
"Look, Violet is the only guy who even talks to the Board of Directors outside of Kazuya. All he has to do is walk in and say "Hey, you know that big scary dude you all are scared of? Well, I put that ************ in the hospital!" Tch, Fucking Faker..."
"Oh god, here he comes now."

Right on cue, Violet walked in, his arm still in a silk sling made by Elise as he walked up to them (Despite the fact his shoulder was perfectly fine now, he just wanted to suck up to the Spider Queen).
"Greetings men! Anything to report after the night?" He said in a confident tone, attempting to sound "Commander-y" as he would put it.
This was met with a sigh of annoyance before the guard said "No, there was no activity overnight. A doctor helped him take a shit and that was it."
"...Soldier, I believe you are forgetting something..."
"Urrggggggggghhhh No, there was no activity overnight. A doctor helped him take a shit and that was it, SIR!" He corrected himself, glaring at Violet as he did.
"Well-....A-alright. I'll-...Brief you in about an hour on the next..."Top Secret Mission". Eh-Heheheheheh...
...heh...well....Dismissed!"
The Robotics expert-turned-Military Mastermind said before leaving.
"...Would I be a bad person for wanting Bison to win now?"
"Yes. But I am hoping Bison kills him before he catch him, Because if he starts bringing in girly-ass uniforms, I'm going to have to do it myself."
"Heh, Get in line. Ohhh, The Boss is going to be uber-pissed when he fully recovers."
"When Isn't he uber-pissed?..."

All the while, the man at the middle of this mess laid hooked up to a array of medical equipment, his heart-rate monitor echoing though-out the room.
When Doom first stirred, it was because of said Heart-rate monitor, making him shift around slightly.
Everything hurt, from his head to his toes as he could barely remember anything, Not Kazuya shooting him, not the fight that ensured and not even the while he spent "Dead".
Still, a night in the Cleric's healing aura did help, as did the IV and Blood bags, but there was still something rather wrong about all this, to him at least.
Attempting to raise his hand, wincing and causing his heart-rate to spike, he then gave up before weakly groaning [color=004d]"[sub][sub]Can someone hit the snooze button on Doom's alarm clock?...[/sub][/sub]"[/color] as he tried to "Turn off" his "Bedroom clock".

Everyone spawn your characters and have them go about their morning routines.

~ Pride & Sloth ~
The Escapist Avatar Adventures | Realm of Vices | Living Room
"Don't you have a job to do? Don't you have something to prevent?"

Some things were meant to be just so. Those that couldn't put forth the effort to make sure that everything was right and tidy and as they should be were nothing short of living refuse. Keeping up with appearances was important. Even if only for the principle of the thing.

These were Pride's thoughts as she stood in a purple evening gown, liberally decorated with gold embroidery and perfectly tailored to hug her form in just the right ways. Her arms were crossed beneath her breasts, the manicured finger of one hand tapping impatiently on her elbow while the other hand held a mostly-empty wine goblet.

And across from her was a gray-clad form sitting on an ornate stone stool. Her eyes were cool as she stared at it, and she took the time to finish off the wonderful vintage she chose simply because she knew Sloth was going to make this difficult. Without that little pleasure, she was certain that even her patience would have run thin much sooner.

Sloth, meanwhile, continued to sit. His eyes closed, his face slack, his mouth just barely open as he imperceptibly snored. This was the second time he had fallen asleep while she was in the middle of giving him the information he needed before going to Earth. The fact that she had let him fall asleep at all was simply due to how gracious she was.

With the wine glass empty, she set it down on the table next to him and promptly reached out, clamping her hand over his nose and mouth.

"Come now, Sloth, wake up. You've had time to rest, now it's time to work." she said quietly as she felt him struggle to breathe.

When she pulled her hand away, he gasped and coughed a little, and that was enough to reassure her that he had, in fact, woken up. Placing a finger under his chin, she slowly lifted his head so that he looked her in the eye. His face was blotchy thanks to her attempt at suffocating him, his eyes were bloodshot, and a line of drool started to creep down his face out of the corner of his mouth.

"Theeeere we are, there's that handsome face." she said, deliberately giving him a small scratch as she pulled her finger away.

Sloth blinked owlishly, groaning a quiet, "Uuungh... 'm sorry Pride."

Pride's lips spread into a small smile, easily suppressing the instinctive sneer. Really, she suppose she couldn't blame him for being what she considered living, breathing garbage. After all, it was just his nature. He couldn't fight it even if he actually tried to motivate himself to change.

"It's quite alright, dear. Now, as I was saying, the Powers That Be have noticed some odd inconsistencies regarding Earth as of late, and the consequences of these inconsistencies could be dire. Multi-dimensional and multi-universal consequences." she explained gravely, "So, we mustn't allow them to come to a head, and that's where you--"

She stopped, her mouth closing suddenly and her lips pressed themselves into a thin, unhappy line. Sloth, meanwhile, began to snore again.

The miserable little cretin had fallen asleep. Again. While she was speaking to him. Her. Superbia. The Eldest, First and Greatest of the Fundamental Vices. While she had been trying to explain what he was about to do, so graciously taking the time--her own, very valuable time--to make his job that much easier, he simply decided he was going to have another snooze instead.

It galled her. While the fact that the others decided that he of all people should be the one to lead them was bad enough, he now had the important duty of actually using his influence on reality to make sure that things didn't simply blow up catastrophically. But you know what? That was fine. She had important things to do, while he never did anything of importance. It would be good for him to finally do his job and work for the first time in millennia.

"Alright Sloth, you go ahead and nap." she said coldly as she waved her hand, and she could hear the sounds of grinding stone behind him, "Perhaps you don't need some kind of briefing. I'm sure that you'll just know what you need to do, when you need to do it."

The Escapist Avatar Adventures | Earth | Fifty Feet Above The Rising Dawn
"Snore."
Sloth, Rory, ?

In the early morning sky, just above the airship dubbed The Rising Dawn, a gigantic stone face seemed to manifest out of thin air with the sound of bricks being rubbed together. It looked to be made of pristine white marble and resembled an elegant woman's face, eyes closed and mouth quietly smiling. Though few were likely to recognize it, it perfectly resembled the visage of Pride.

As unusual as a stone face simply appearing in the sky was, it was also looking straight down. When its mouth began to open as if it was a natural, living face, a person seemed to fall out of it. Right in the direction of The Rising Dawn.

The robed figure crashed through the outer hull and a few of the upper decks before finally coming to a stop in the Library, crumpled in a heap atop what used to be a table, and now resembled naught but sad splinters. Said table had been in the middle of being used by none other than Rory Mercury, Demi-Goddess and Apostle of the Dark God Emloy.

There was a quiet snort midst the wreckage before Sloth slowly, lazily, lifted his head and looked around blearily even as he sprawled in the resulting debris, looking none the worse for wear. He moved to sit up, and when he finally spotted Rory he did a dull double-take. He slowly blinked, then lifted a hand and placed a finger on his lower lip in what probably counted as a thoughtful expression. It was a full minute before he finally spoke.

"Um. Do you know where...?" he asked quietly.

[footnote]Just to be clear, this really is it's own post here, just that since we've moved ahead and this is more or less a flashback, I hit the shrink ray button using spoiler tag because... why not?It cuts down on clutter that way.[/footnote]Rising Dawn: Kalastryn's room: Kalastryn, ARES 35.

Sleep. Sleep is a beautiful thing we all often take for granted, isn't it? Being able to simply shut one's eyes for an amount of time and let the mind and body rest isn't always a luxury. Over the past few days, our crew had been flying across the country and made astounding progress in procuring their objective, but had anyone even accounted for how much rest they'd been allotted as a result?

Caffeine. Caffeine is a blessing to those who use it in moderation, often compensating for when doesn't receive their proper rest through sleep. Should it be any surprise then, that as Kalastryn was doing as she had promised to Miia and had re-arranged space for another bed only to not use the one she had, that several emptied mugs of coffee into the night she was still transcribing her spellbook into two separate, identical books?

*SNAP* Went the sound of yet another quill breaking. Sure that old method of penmanship was old-fashioned, but it would be necessary to make sure she had gotten every detail on every page copied over exactly. Magic was not an exact science necessarily, but much like science one must take great pains to control the variables. Since Miia had no experience with Magic and was going to be using her transcription of her book, Kala couldn't afford for a mistake to be made, lest the charm spell Miia wanted to learn turn into an electric shock she didn't due to one slipped finger. The room lit only by a small candle at her desk, she heard a knock at the door around 1 AM.

Yawning audibly, she replies with,"It's not locked, and I am awake."

"Well that was what I was concerned about. I suppose those concerns were not entirely unfounded." ARES says as she takes that as a welcome inside, looking at the rearranged and now rather... devoid state of the room. "Should you not be asleep by now Ms Zannifer? Caffeine can only take someone so far before-"
"Ms. Zannifer?" My first name suits me just fine, oh formal one. Should you not find your own room if your so worried about sleeping habits? I take it you know a lot about those." She rolled her, at this point nearly bloodshot eyes.
...Cold. and that's coming from me.
Well I'm sorry, hardly sleeping for a couple days does that to a person, wouldn't you think?
Huh, then it's almost as if they have a point.
*SNAP* Kala sighed as another pen broke, tapping a finger on her desk.
...They do, but knowing that it's not like we'll have a day off tomorrow given why we hardly slept yesterday, I can't just stop wor-

That train of thought was interrupted however, by a sharp yank on her hair from behind pulling her chair over backwards while Kalastryn herself was held up by her hair. "OWW- Damn, what the hell is your problem?"

"Oh, I couldn't really say actually. Is there a problem when someone gets legitimately angry at being mocked after only expressing concern for someone who then goes to ridicule them? Actually I do have the answer to that, yes. But the problem is not mine. You know our schedule has been rigorous, and yet your currently not even attempting to rest while you can. It's unhealthy to lose that much sleep, no wonder I was able to catch you like this." She says, dropping the strands of Kala's hair that she held.
Well? What are you going to say to that?
Initially, I might have stuck to sarcastically telling her off... but all involved know she has a point.

"... Sorry for that, you've got a point. Having the schedule we have for our current mission didn't afford much time to sleep yesterday, but I have to have this ready by tomorrow at the rate this is going. I'd have worked on it earlier but honestly, when is earlier and when is later? Now might be the only time I have before we get sent out again to finish this."

She says, propping up her chair again with a sigh.

"Is it really that vital? It couldn't at least wait until morning?"
"How do you know we won't be there by morning? And yes, to explain why I'm copying an entire book since 10 PM, it's to arm someone who otherwise couldn't deploy with us in good conscience... mine or hers." She says, rubbing a temple in dissatisfaction as she takes out another pen and dips it in the inkwell on her desk.

Only to have it plucked out of her hand. "By morning huh? I fixed the Hangar on those terms, get some sleep."

Sighing in resignation, and relief Kala left it up to ARES to finish what would be Miia's copy of the spellbook she uses. Quite nearly stumbling over into bed, and knocking herself out on impact with her pillow.

Rising Dawn: Canteen/Bar: Rugal, ??Dillon??
as Rugal stumbled to get to his room he saw someone whom he swore wasn't there before thew man was wearing a rich purple robe and had sand colored hair and a matching beard There was an odfd black mask hanging from his belt, as well as a sword in it's sheathe. He was enjoying a rather delicious looking spread of Sushi rolls, Takoyaki, and Tempura. In between each piece he'd chew on pickled ginger, he was clearly enjoying his breakfast. He saw the Drunk Captain struggling with the worst hangover.
"It ain't easy being captain is it?" he asked his voice was familiar

I Imagine I'm the last person you wanted to see, But I'm not here to pick a fight, You seem to be having trouble holding it in" He poured an extra cup of green tea and offered it to him. "It always cured my hangovers quite well"
That's when the familiarity of the man;s face kicked in and he felt a stabbing poain in his chest.
"D-Dillon, I have to be losing my mind"

Dillon took a piece of ginger slowly then set his chopsticks down "Nope I'm here I was doing my job and I noticed your past is creeping up on ya, And it's not fun getting judged by the mistake you made. You can save the world, You can be stabbed electrocuted, blasted with Ki energy, get crushed by Golems, and Have your family taken away from you, and all to save the world. After all that though people will judge you by your faults. However I'm not here to do any of that, I'm really not. When you Knew me I was not at my best, I wasn't happy, I was young and rash. But here's something to recall there's only one thing you can control: Yourself. If that's not very assuring at least remember this, if at least one person loves you for who you are."
Dillon Rested his hand on Rugal's Shoulder "Your doing something right."
With that Dillon Vanished. leaving a hot cup of a green tea it had a soft herbal scent and he could smell a little bit of alcohol, apparently Dillon believed in 'hair of the dog'

Rising Dawn: Training Room: Icarus, Danny Boy

Icarus and His Lucario 'Brother'has been training for an hour. "Wow hard to believe it's almost morning let's get some breakfast."
"Arooo" Danny howled excitedly Icarus went to the shower while Danny boy put away their sparring equipment. Icarus went to the Shower room he took a bottle of a body soap, this was a home made and unlike most typical soaps it had very little scent added to it, at best maybe a touch of lavender. this meant despite being clean he more or less had a natural smell. though he also had an odd bird scent due to his feathers. once he was done he joined Danny Boy they came to the Canteen.

Rising Dawn: Canteen: Icarus, Selena, Danny Boy

Icarus saw Selena, and sat down beside her she looked worse for the wear she had been up late using her potions and even brewing more, a lot of people had managed to get injured, luckily no one had died but Selena was not used to that kind of stress.
She smiled seeing Icarus though "Oh hey" she said trying to sit up more but she was practically falling asleep. she ended up leaning on Icarus. Icarus got an idea he took the flask of sake, he opened it and slipped small drop into her drink He then carefully helped her take a sip her eyes snapped open. The potency of the alcohol and the unusual herbs within it made it effective at restoring one's energy.
"Wow I don't know what you did but that felt good, Thanks." Icarus smiled nervously. he and Lucario ordered breakfast. a serving imp delivered them but one of them stared at Icarus, "were;t you already here?" Icarus looked at the imp confused.
"I haven't been here since noon yesterday." he said confused the imp shrugged. Icarus began eating lucario ate sitting on the floor looking alot like an unusually small blue dog.
"That was weird" Icarus admitted, but proceeded to eat his breakfast, a large rice bowl with cooked vegetables, egg and chicken.

Avatar Adventures | The Airship: Rising Dawn | Medical Bay
The Night Before: Improbable cures...
Katya Rostikova | Ruby Babbage-Lovelace | Angelus | Dolores Selmy | Selena | Doom | Elise | Violet | Luke | Teri | Kazuya
[hr]

Most nights in the Rising Dawn's Medical Bay were rather quiet. Due to the machine-like nature in which the Airship's Chief Medical Officer healed her patients, it was infrequent that any of the formerly wounded crew members were required to stay over night for continued treatment or even observation. Even prior to the arrival of the Ship's Cleric, the Automated Medical Treatment Suites, or Autodocs, did a rather efficient job at keeping the ship's crew members from succumbing to their wounds (Though their bedside manner left much to be desired).

This night was not one of those nights where the Autodocs were left to gather dust. In fact, it was one of those extremely rare moments where the autodocs were the exclusive medical provider in the Medbay. Due to the wounds that Teri, the Airship's Chief Medical Officer, had suffered at the hands of Kazuya Mishima after the former defacto leader of G-Corp had, without provocation, attempted to execute one of the Airship's prisoners, Doom. The resulting brawl in the brig had resulted in the hospitalization of both Kazuya and Doom, who though sheer luck survived the multiple gun shot wounds.

Katya Rostikova was not with any of those three patients in the Medical Bay. She was with the one patient who required medical treatment for something not resulting from the "Brawl in the Brig," Ruby Babbage-Lovelace. The nine year old girl lay in a medical gurney stationed in the middle of an area designated for Triage patients, or patients that required immediate medical stabilization. Despite the fact that Ruby appeared unconscious, the 18 year old hacker could sense that the younger girl was in a great deal of pain. The sensation radiated in every cell of Katya's body. It carved a hole in her brain. There was a connection between the older and younger girls, but Katya, so unused to emotions that came with living outside of a bubble, could not place the source of the bond that she felt with this young black and white haired child.

While she stood there and held the small hand of the younger child, she had B3WP connect with the Triage Autodocs and gather a list of possible causes for the multitude of symptoms that afflicted young Ruby Babbage-Lovelace. The resulting list generated from the query was... disconcerting at best. It was an A through Z of bacterial infections, diseases, virii and wounds. Everything from Alergies to VX Gas exposure had been listed. It was more of a list of topics from the entire catalogue of the D.C. Journal of Medicine than a short list of possible diagnoses. There was another chime as the equipment used to monitor Ruby's brain activity detected another seizure.

In the midst of it all was the slightly disturbing presence of First Lieutenant Selmy Dolores. It wasn't the girl's shy and apparent low self esteem that bothered Katya, it was the girl's lack of knowledge of what had afflicted her earlier, which was the same thing that was afflicting Ruby now. The First Lieutenant spoke in a manner that lacked any confidence and she avoided the Hacker's eyes when Selmy did look up. Despite the fact that Katya, having suffered through seizures herself, know that Selmy would have very little recollection of her condition, the Rising Dawn's Geek Girl still found herself annoyed.

Tending to the seizing Ruby, Katya had been tuning the First Lieutenant out when a sudden tonal shift in the older woman's voice caused the concerned crew member to suddenly pay very careful attention.

""If I had to hazard a guess da ze," she said, "I would have the master hacker move a full three meters away from Ruby. See if the issue does not resolve itself soon afterward da ze."

The suggested treatment was for Katya to step three meters away from the dying girl? What sort of suggestion was that and what was up with the voice that Selmy used when speaking to Katya? The change in the First Lieutenant's vocal demeanor was so drastic that the young hacker had to turn to make sure that Selmy was still seated at the perimeter of the Triage area. When Dolores next spoke, it was only further confirmation that it was Selmy, not someone else that had spoken.

"I'm really really sorry! That's... all... I... know...?" The First Lieutenant said, reverting to her former manner of speech before starting to weep.

Trauma. Trauma must have been the cause of the sudden change that First Lieutenant Selmy exhibited. It wouldn't be hard to imagine that the older woman was having a difficult time watching Ruby, Selmy purported acquaintance, go through the same exact thing that Selmy had gone through a scant couple of hours ago. Fully turning towards the weeping woman, Katya started walking to her with the intention of comforting the poor soul.

It was just as the Rising Dawn's Resident Drama Queen reached her destination that it happened. Silence. The alerts stopped their bing bing bings as they detected Ruby's vital signs normalizing. Having listened to the alerts for so long, the silence was hard to miss.

"[color=CC8899]What... the... fuck?[/color]" Katya cursed, looking at the distance between her and Ruby, the distance spelled out in her HUD. 3 Meters, the exact distance that First Lieutenant Selmy had suggested, "[color=CC8899]This has got to be coincidence[/color]"

Taking a step towards Ruby caused the alerts to start blaring once again, causing Katya to jump back with a start.

"[color=CC8899] I... guess that's over with.[/color]" Katya said reluctantly as she walked over to where Selmy was still weeping, putting a comforting arm around the girl's shoulders, "[color=CC8899]But how's that even possible?[/color]

The question was rhetorical. Since being on the ship, Katya had already seen enough to make her stop questioning of things were possible or not. Still, it did make her feel a little... shitty... that she would be the cause of the young child's suffering.

"[color=CC8899]I guess she's your problem now... or ARES... whatever.[/color]" The hacker stated, her voice slightly disappointed. Despite her bravado at leaving the young Ruby Babbage-Lovelace at the mercies of someone else, Katya felt like she'd missed an opportunity to care for someone that she could relate with.

With the medical emergency over, Katya looked around the medical bay and realized the number of people that were being treated, realizing that both Elise and Angelus were present. Dim memories at having cat called the Spider Queen when she first arrived caused the slightly embarrassed Hacker to slouch in her chair as to not draw attention to herself. The presence of Angelus was another story though. Since she was seated on the other side of Selmy, there was no avoiding her.

"[color=CC8899][small]crap.[/small][/color]" The Hacker muttered as she swore off drinking for eternity, the memory of revealing her crush on Caim to the world burned brightly in her mind, causing her cheeks to flush. Turning to Selmy, the hacker muttered something to the effect of, "[color=cc8899]Wake me up if something happens, kay?[/color]"

The request made, Katya closed her eyes, faking an attempt to go to sleep. It was fortunate that real sleep came not soon after.

Avatar Adventures | The Airship: Rising Dawn | The Canteen
Morning: Improbably cannibal...
Katya Rostikova
[hr]

Morning. Morning couldn't have come soon enough for the Rising Dawn's Geek Girl. While she'd fallen asleep in less comfortable places, the fact that she felt more than a little uncomfortable in the medical bay didn't bode well for her slumbers. The familiar chiming of medical equipment invaded her dreams and caused her to wake in a panic more than a few times in the middle of the night. In the end, she'd opted to browse through the Internet while acting as if she was asleep.

With the sun peaking through one of the view ports, Katya decided that it was time to get up and grab something to eat, which unfortunately meant that she was going to have to go back into the Canteen, the ship's sole dining option.

Standing up quietly, so as not to disturb the rest of the patients ... or Elise or Angelus... the hungry hacker exited the medical bay and headed towards the Canteen. As she traversed the labyrinthine Airship, she wondered why she was feeling so self conscious as of late. The embarrassment that she felt, which would have been forgotten were it not for B3WP intervention, was not something that she was typically accustomed to. She was supposed to be confident in all things and her social standing with in the crew members was not something that she coupe feel confident about.

She stopped in front of the double doors that served as the entrance to the Airship's Canteen, breathing in deeply and slowly as to control her mounting anxiety. Pushing through the doors, she was relieved to see that Caim was not present but there wasn't actually anyone that she immediately recognized, despite having been on the ship for some time.

Wandering over to the seating area, she considered sitting at the table where the Witch, the Winged Kid and a stranger sat but banished the idea entirely. Sitting down alone, she flagged down an Imp and ordered a plate of Steak and Eggs, regular... not spicy... as well as a coffee. The Imp appeared rather disappoint by the order but walked off anyways, chattering at the group that was assembled around Rugal, the ship's captain.

"That was weird," The Expert Eavesdropper overheard the Winged Kid say in relation to something that Katya hadn't been listening to. It wasn't the conversation that grabbed Katya's attention but rather the fact that Icarus appeared to be eating Chicken and Eggs.

"[color=CC8899](Isn't that cannibalism?)[/color]" The Troll wondered to herself.

Avatar Adventures | The Airship: Rising Dawn | Hall of Records
The Night Before: Redemption
Rory Mercury | Naamah
[hr]

The Hall of Records appeared to be one of the least used areas of the ship and though Naamah had spent her time meticulously caring for the room, the recently descended Demi-Goddess could tell from the musty odor in the room that it had been some time since a human had set foot in the room. The room contained a series of wooden tables, atop which sat a number of computer terminals, like the ones that Rory had seen in Japan on her visit with Itami. A series of massive bookshelves lined the walls and encroached upon the interior of the room. Though it wasn't typical of a library, each of the shelves had a thick glass panel that kept the books from toppling out of the shelf during more intensive maneuvers.

Walking over to one of the shelf, Rory noted that while the books were all treated well, it appeared that special care was taken for the ship's records. There were some 853 volumes, telling the young looking Demi-Goddess that the group had been in operation for some time. Flipping open the first volume, the entries were small at first. They appeared to be from a time prior to the creation of the Airship.

Looking around, Rory spotted Naamah standing next to one of the computer terminals. As she sat down in front of the workstation, she noticed that a large number of videos had been loaded into a playlist. With over a several years worth of materials to watch, darkly dressed loli knew that she would not have time to watch all of the footage but she also knew that she wouldn't have to watch all of it to form an opinion on the group she blindly joined.

Scanning through the first series of videos, Rory noted that Naamah had spent a large amount of time watching the daily lives of a young man with hair that was almost pink in color as well as an animated wooden doll with blue hair. Puce and Kurumu they were named.

As Rory watched the two, she smiled. There was love between the man and his doll. Because her previous position before returning to the realm of mortals was the Special Region's Goddess of Love, she took a particular interest in the pair. This was true also of the two women knights and their fox girl companion. There was a man and a dragon who would later become a woman. There was the Cleric and ... someone who was cloaked in shadows.

If there was one thing that the crew did not lack, it was love. But at the same time, there was treachery. A man, the ship's original captain trapped the man and his doll in a gem, sealing them to an unknown fate. Puce, his mind controlled by rage and madness, attacked an Angel and a dark four legged creature. The Angel, driven to madness by anger and pride, allowed a woman to die, her body burnt to cinders. The ship's current captain, in a move to grab power aboard the ship, assaulted the young Puce, smashing his face into a wall. One of the female knights attempted to kill her future lovers when she arrived on the ship. The list went on and on.

This ship and its crew was almost bipolar in its ability to do good for the world and its ability to destroy it. The ship's captain, Rugal, had started off his life as a criminal that opposed the justice that the Rising Dawn strove to bring into the world. Despite his apparent change regarding what he was doing, the past was always going to hound him. A wizard, cloaked in crimson cloth, destroyed a city after the Rising Dawn was falsely accused of doing the same thing.

Watching another interaction between Puce and Kurumu, Rory's eyes because to droop as exhaustion took hold of her body. Watching as the two lovers shared their first kiss as flesh and blood, Rory muttered a question absently to Naamah.

"Can this ship be redeemed, Naamah"

Morning: YOU!!!!
Rory Mercury | Naamah | Sloth
[hr]

*CRASH!!!*

The sound of metal being split apart woke the Demi-Goddess, who reflexively grabbed her Halberd in preparations to defend herself. Looking up at the ceiling she saw that there was a hole that had been created by the impact of something that had fallen from a great height, not unlike Rory's arrival on the ship. So entranced by the sight of the open sky, Rory almost didn't notice that whatever had smashed through the hull of the mighty airship had also smashed the wooden table in front of her to bits of wooden debris. Looking down at her black stockings she noticed a flash of white skin and the sight of a large shard of wood sticking out of her leg. Not that it hurt the invulnerable Demi-Goddess, the fact that her holy garb had been ripped slightly annoyed the Oracle of Emloy.

A groan was the next thing to grab the woman's attention... or rather a snore. Whomever it was that had decided to nest in the middle of the ruins of Rory's research was surely powerful if they had managed to fall from the Heavens, crash through the metallic hull of the Airship, smash the desk and still be asleep.

Moving a large section of desk that had folded over onto her uninvited guest, the Former Goddess of Love was struck by a sudden bout of anger when she realized the man's identity... or the Vice's identity.

"YOU!" Rory Mercury, Head Priestess of Emloy, exclaimed loudly at Sloth, the reason for her being cast back into the mortal realm.

"Um. Do you know where...?" The lazy bastard asked quietly, his eyes already starting to close again.

"You're in the mortal realm. Why you did you come here? Are you here because SHE wanted to gloat over my fall?" Rory asked quickly in an effort to get the questions in before Sloth went back to sleep. As she machine gunned these questions, she thought back about the bet she made with Hardy and Sloth's central role in it.

Scars that the eye cannot see.
Dolores Selmy

The morning came gently. Molli was sitting at the side of my bed, John sat to her side. They were leaning on each other for support. I couldn't remember much from the night before, but a rhythmic thrum of pain in my head reminded me of my condition. I struggled to sit up.

There was no sunlight in the medical bay, instead harsh lamps illuminated the harsh clean decorum with their indefatigable vigil. A tray of food had been laid out on a trolley to my side. I reached over and picked it up. There was a large bowl of steamed eggs and clams, still hot and steaming with savor. To its side were small dishes of assorted vegetables and a small slab of honeyed ham - tenderized and cut into pieces in a way that only Molli could have done - lay sleepily in the corner.

The same breakfast my grandmother used to make me when I was a child. I smiled so hard that I felt tears well up in my eyes.

"Good morning Lieutenant Selmy," said a voice. It was unfamiliar. I turned to seek it's source. It was a younger woman - probably the youngest I had ever seen in a military setting. She was no more than five feet tall and had a small childish frame. She looked maybe in the realm of twelve or thirteen years old. Yet her voice was strong, stronger than anything that I had ever heard before. "I said 'good morning, Lieutenant Selmy.'"

"Oh, ah - Good morning... madam." I added the honor almost instinctively. She just had the air of an officer... it was hard to describe.

"John told me about what happened to you. Asked me to find out what would be the most comforting breakfast for you," she talked nonchalantly, but held the same pose - arms crossed and leaning against the wall. She had normal eyes, they didn't gleam with vigor nor did they seem distant or cold. They were utterly average, ordinary in every way. In fact, that was her entire visage. I had trouble recalling her face even as I looked at her. "They really care for you," she continued, "you're a lucky girl Lieutenant, to have friends like them."

"Y-yes madam." I answered, "I am grateful to them. So much. I..." I stopped. The words caught in my chest. My hands shook the tray and the porcelain tapped noisily against each other. "I would be nothing without them. Molli especially."

"Very trusting of you to divulge that information with such wanton disregard," she smirked, "I suppose I should count my own graces that you were not assigned to my department. A girl like you, honest to a fault and loyal past the point of lunacy, you're a good person but a bad soldier."

I blushed.

"High past time I introduced myself," she continued, leaning forward to bring herself to standing position. She strolled up beside my bed. "I'm Captain Elizabeth Donnel from intelligence. John's direct superior." She stuck out her hand, "I've heard a lot about you Lieutenant."

I took her hand and shook it.

"And at the same time, I've heard absolutely nothing. You're an god damned enigma Lieutenant." I frowned. What did she mean? "Zero records in anything I look. Nothing written down, but people know you. Oh do the people know you. Always, 'oh yeah, I remember her' or 'Selmy? I think I vaguely recall someone like that'"

"I, uh, don't know what to say," I said.

"Then don't say anything." she smiled. She had light brown hair. I only realized it now. She had little dimples on cheek when she smiled, but they seemed to shift a little each time I looked. "You're an interesting person Lieutenant, I'm just here to say I've started keeping an eye on you, you hear? So if you need anything, just let me know. I'm usually deployed on field work, but John can get in contact with me if you need to reach me for any reason."

She waved and walked out of the room. The sway of her hips gave her age away. She was much, much older than she let on.

I at my breakfast in contemplative silence thereafter.

[hr/]

Later I got dressed in a fresh uniform that Molli had brought me and checked up on Ruby. She had fallen into a deep sleep, her little body had been stressed to a hair's width of breaking. Ruby was making great strides in recovery though, the terminal had her slated for discharge later in the day.

"I wonder how Tania is doing," I wondered out loud.

There was no answer. The medical bay was devoid of consciousness. Molli and John had left for their daily tasks. I was left idle, with no assignment. I wanted to train more, but the pain in my muscles demanded that I did not. I have a disappointed sigh. I headed to the Canteen out of boredom.

[hr/]

"Master hacker," I said, striding into the Canteen. She was making acquaintance with an orange-masked weirdo. I pulled a chair from another table and slid it to the table. My arm screamed out in pain at the effort, but I set myself down next to Katya. I forced a smile onto my face, "I... I wanted to talk to you about last night. You, looked really sad about Ruby."

I tried my best not to make... eye-level contact with the masked weirdo. Something about that guy just ticked me off. My body screamed at me that he was dangerous - that he would destroy me - but I didn't know why. Though he looked harmless enough.

"It's really not your fault, Ruby's just a very strange child. She's always been."

For the first time in many, many years Fatima lost her head. "MY BOOKS! MY RECORDS! MY TABLE! MY HEAD! YOU MY THINGS BROKE! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" Fatima bounced up and down, her body shone brilliantly in the room. Black sinew drew itself across the hole above as bits of thick nanomachine paste reconstructed the damaged hull. "YOU KNOWLEDGE OUGHT RESPECT!"

She swept her body under Sloth and heaved the two ton trespasser off the table and onto the floor. "I DID NOT BELIEVE THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE TO THIS ANGRY BE!" Fatima mended the table with use of her own body, melding the old dry fibers of the table back together.

After Fatima finished fixing the table and the crushed computer she leaped onto Rory and wrapped herself around the young girl's shoulders. She was still vibrating with an inscrutable anger. "I ENOUGH OF THIS FOOLERY HAD!" Her voice started to change. To become higher and less awkward. "I will not suffer this 'crashing through the roof' of my damned head thing much longer!"

She spoke directly to Sloth, "Make yourself known you awful intruder, lest I break into your form and violate your very cells!"

Morning:
Katya Rostikova | First Lieutenant Dolores Selmy | Ryan Wheatley
[hr]

"Hey there, Katya. Don't mind me, just going to order myself a cup of coffee if you don't mind. I'd like a cup of coffee please. Would love if it had caramel cream applied, and sugar to boot. Thank you very much. I know this is .. rather childish of me, to come along and sit across you without asking permission. I didn't even properly introduce myself, so forgive me for that as well. My name is Ryan Wheatley and i'm part of the Rising Dawn like yourself. I'm also the author of Elise, Nadalia, and Annie who are also aboard the ship. But enough about myself, I would like to know more about you of course! Unless, you'd like your privacy in which I would totally respect and give you that personal space. Just say the word and you will have it."

"Master hacker, I... I wanted to talk to you about last night. You, looked really sad about Ruby. It's really not your fault, Ruby's just a very strange child. She's always been."

The fact that Katya didn't hear the words spoken by either Ryan Wheatley or First Lieutenant Dolores Selmy couldn't have been helped. Character sheets and personnel databases could only list so much about a person. They listed a crew member's powers, their appearance and little snippets about their personality but they could never fully act as an accurate predictor on a crew member's current activities. For instance, no where in Katya's personnel file did it note her morning ritual of listening to music at an ungodly volume nor the fact that she also spent this time looking through various torrent sites looking for episodes of anime that she might have missed while out in "the world."

Of course, both Ryan Wheatley and the First Lieutenant could have been forgiven for not noticing the fact that Katya was not paying attention to either of them based on the fact that the music that she was listening to was being pumped out of a set of miniaturized speakers that rested directly on her ear drums and that the computer monitor she was using to look for Episode 10 of Owarimonogatari was built into her eyes. It wasn't until the last few bytes of Owari goodness had been streamed into a NAS enabled portable Hard drive that Katya blinked and quite literally jumped when she realized that there were two people sitting in front of her.

"[color=CC8899]Dolores! Hi! I didn't see you there... um... I was listening to Maaya Sakamoto and trying to find some... anime.[/color]" Katya felt rather embarrassed to admit that she still watched what amounted to cartoons despite her age and the fact that she was part of a group that traveled around the world foiling evil plots. Using the time honored tactic of changing topics to void further embarassment, Katya's eyes focused on the masked man seated across from her, "[color=CC8899]And you brought a friend with you. Lemme guess. He's your boyfriend... he likes pumpkins... black coffee and handles rattle snakes in a Pentecostal church.. and he likes Harem Anime![/color]"

Reaching across the table to Ryan, Katya offered a friendly handshake before introducing herself to the masked stranger. Accessing the Rising Dawn's personnel files, she started the slow decryption process on Ryan's file.

"[color=CC8899]I'm Katya Rostikova. You're... Ryan, right?[/color]"She said after she'd paused to look up Ryan's name on his barely decrypted personnel file,"[color=CC8899]Lemme guess... atomic powered Luchador?[/color]"

There was a pause in conversation as the Rising Dawn's Least Socially Experienced Crew Member realized that she'd missed something along the way. Pulling up a recording of the 30 seconds prior to the closure of her browser window, Katya realized that she'd missed the reason why Selmy was here.

Replay said:
"Master hacker, I... I wanted to talk to you about last night. You, looked really sad about Ruby. It's really not your fault, Ruby's just a very strange child. She's always been."
The young 18 year old woman let out a guilty sigh before slumping back in her seat, looking rather embarrassed at having yammered like that without realizing that Selmy had come to see her with a purpose and that Ryan had arrived prior to that, though the recording had been cut off due to storage constraints.

"[color=CC8899]Um... sorry about that, Selmy. I didn't actually realize that you'd spoken to me when you sat down.[/color]" The Awkward girl said as she started toying around with a salt shaker on the table, "[color=CC8899]I was a little older than Ruby when I got sick. My parents hadn't been too active in my life prior to that but they were there when I started getting treatments. Ruby... told ARES and I that she was looking for her parents and for her to be that sick without them present, I felt sorry for her. The kicker was the fact that I was the one causing her to suffer just sort of twisted a knife in my gut... you know?[/color]"

Silence fell upon the table once again as Katya searched for something else that needed to be said.

"[color=CC8899]It must have been hard for you to see her going through that also, right? I mean you said you knew her and you went through the same thing, it must have been really hard.[/color]" The Master Hacker stopped for a moment, unable to help herself as she let the feels take control of her words, "[color=CC8899]If you ever need to talk about anything, just let me know. I'll listen to whatever you have to say.[/color]"

Internally, the Hacker died a little as she realized that she'd just done in real life what she despised people doing online. Offering to listen to a total stranger's personal issues never sat right with Katya. To her, the offer had seemed like a way to stroke a person's ego since it would be strange for the stranger to admit the issues with their lives to the listener. But here, in the middle of the Canteen, Katya had made a genuine offer to Selmy.

Turning to Ryan, she realized than an Imp had delivered the young man's coffee, which was not at all black in color. Scratching the top of her head, the Haxxx0r Heroine laughed limply before addressing Ryan.

"[color=CC8899]You're still an atomic powered Luchador, right?[/color]" She asked a split second before the Author's personnel file revealed him to be an Author --- with his own Harem of women --- including Elise. The young woman's cheeks went 50 shades of pink when she realized that the Author must have been aware of Katya's harassment of Elise.

All this interacting with people in real life was pretty hard and it seemed like it was only getting harder the longer Katya Rostikova did it.

"Um... Who are you again?"
Sloth | Rory Mercury | Naamah
[hr]

For most sane, normal individuals, the transition from being asleep to being awake tended to be more of a continuum than a binary, most often accompanied by groaning, yawning, and thoughts of "Just fifteen more minutes." Despite having fallen through the roof of an airship while asleep, Sloth was much like those aforementioned sane, normal people in that regard. That also meant that he wasn't entirely there, since he still had the dregs of sleep weighing down his mental processes.

So when a chunk of wood, or what appeared to be wood at any rate, was pulled off of him by a young girl in an elegant black lolita dress, he contemplated how he would thank her, presumably after she told him where he was. He wasn't prepared for her to cry out, effectively derailing his admittedly slow train of thought. And interrupting him from falling back to sleep on top of that.

"YOU!"

He leaned back a little, his slack face doing it's best to reflect a mixture of confusion and shock at being recognized. At the same time, he would've sworn she looked familiar. But why? Where did he know her from? He couldn't quite place her face...

"You're in the mortal realm. Why you did you come here? Are you here because SHE wanted to gloat over my fall?"

She? Gloat? This girl couldn't possibly be talking about Pride, though if there was a woman outside of the mortal realm prone to gloating, she was the most likely candidate. But before he could ask for clarification, a voice rang out.

"MY BOOKS! MY RECORDS! MY TABLE! MY HEAD! YOU MY THINGS BROKE! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!? YOU KNOWLEDGE OUGHT RESPECT!"

"Wha?" he grumbled blearily.

Looking around, he finally took notice of just where he had landed. It looked like a library of some sort, and he glanced down, realizing that he had landed on one of the tables, and still had a few papers and books underneath him. More than that, it was clear that the voice was angry at him for a lot more than just being too loud when he made his crash-landing.

His gaze lifted back up to see a black form, studded with green lights along with a green orb where the head was meant to be, bounce up and down in rage. It was feminine, and even in his half-conscious state he could tell that it was technological in nature. So this had to be one of those technologically advanced worlds then. The Vice couldn't help but watch in fascination as she yelled almost incoherently at him, and the holes above him were slowly closed up. Then she seemed to flatten herself, slipped underneath him and swept him off the table and onto the floor.

She mended the table in short order as well, along with a computer that he hadn't even noticed he crushed, and he had to wonder where that was after he had dropped in. With the repairs done, the black form wrapped itself around the young girl's shoulders, and it's voice changed, better suiting the feminine figure it had earlier.

"I will not suffer this 'crashing through the roof' of my damned head thing much longer! Make yourself known you awful intruder, lest I break into your form and violate your very cells!"

Taking a moment to glance between the two, Sloth realized there was nothing for it. He owed them an explanation of sorts, so he forced himself to his feet with a groan, and half-heartedly brushed off his robes, releasing a cloud of dust that did more harm than good.

"M'name's Sloth, Last of the Fundamental Vices. Y'know, Embodiment of Entropy, Apathy Given Form... Yadda, yadda, that sorta thing." he explained with a careless wave, the oversized sleeve of his robes spreading more dust in the process.

"Anyway--" he continued, before being interrupted by a wide yawn, "Muh... Anyway, I'm here 'cause I've gotta job to do and all that. Don't know about any gloating or falls or anything."

There was a pause before he looked up at where he crashed in from.

"... Beyond my own fall, I guess." he corrected quietly.

Sloth shrugged, and the corners of his mouth quirked up into a lazy, apologetic smile, adding, "Sorry, I can't really say as I know you, but you do look awful familiar. Uh, who are you again?"

"Abs- absolutely not!" I screamed. The words just tumbled out of my mouth, but luckily the two of them did not seem to have noticed. I suddenly felt the crushing weight of embarrassment on my face.

My skin crawled when Ryan spoke. His very words felt slick to the skin. I turned to look at him politely and forced a smile onto my face, "Ah well," I started awkwardly, "to be honest, I do not have much to say to you, other than I observe that you enjoy cosplaying as Tobi." I pouted, "And honestly, going around and introducing yourself as an Uchiha is inappropriately misleading!" My cheeks felt hot.

A gave a slight pause before turning to look at him out of the corner of my eye. He sat there awkwardly with that mask off. I wanted to leave badly, but I also wanted to talk to Katya.

I turned back toward Katya an leaned forward, smiling. "I'd really appreciate it," I said. "To be acknowledged by one of the Heroes is a great thing." Barring acknowledgement in certain areas. I added silently to myself. "Look, neither Ruby or I had many friends when we were growing up so... ah. Do you think, do you think you'd like to come to the staff quarters sometime? My own room is in the Hero's quarters, but John and Molli are going to host a holiday party after the mission is over. Think, think you'd come with me Master Hacker?" I stopped. I grabbed her hand gently, "Katya, will you come? You can talk to Ruby I think, if she stays at arm's length."

Avatar Adventures | The Airship: Rising Dawn | The Canteen
Morning:
Katya Rostikova | First Lieutenant Dolores Selmy | Ryan Wheatley
[hr]

Because the crew was aboard a massive Airship that was constantly moving from one point of conflict to another, some of the newer recruits to the Rising Dawn had difficulty adjusting to the use of Zulu time, Greenwich Mean Time, as their means of temporal location. While the sun was just barely peaking over the horizon outside of the Canteen's viewing windows, the clocks all read 14:23. Some of the crew had found a different methodology of defining time aboard the airship. The day did not officially start until there was conflict among the group of crew members designated "The Heroes."

Today, the honor of kicking off the new day appeared to have been given to First Lieutanant Dolores Selmy and Ryan Wheatley.

"Anyways, i'm not a luchador. To make this easy to follow, i'm an Uchiha. Well, someone whom altered their genetics to handle Uchiha DNA, but that's besides the point. I'm here to assist the Rising Dawn in whatever affairs it crashes itself into and ... ah, forgive me. Seems like i'm not making it as short as I promised. See, back then I joined the team as a Dragonoid but things didn't work out in my favor. I abandoned the crew despite they were on a rather critical mission, so here I am trying to make amends for that mistake." The Masked "Uchiha" stated as tried to correct the preconceived notions that the Rising Dawn's Hacker Heroine had made about him. It must have been rather maddening to be given a blunt assessment of someone's first impressions but it had been laid out in front of the Author figure. Were Katya inclined to speak at the moment, she might have given an analysis on Ryan as being someone who was unsure of his identity given the fact that he had referenced himself as Uchiha, someone who had altered themselves to accept Uchiha DNA and a Dragonoid. Then there was the mask that he wore. The suddenly placid Hacker might have said that it was to hide his identity from himself as much as it was the crew.

The girl-stuck-in-thought was brought back to reality as the usually subdued First Lieutenant Selmy started speaking in a rather "passionate" manner.

"Ah well," she started awkwardly, though her words seemed to gain confidence as she loosed them into her target. "to be honest, I do not have much to say to you, other than I observe that you enjoy cosplaying as Tobi." Dolores pouted as she went in for the kill, "And honestly, going around and introducing yourself as an Uchiha is inappropriately misleading!"

The Rising Dawn's IT Specialist blinked a number of times at the crescendo that the First Lieutenant's personality or rather her confidence had experienced in the span of a few boldly worded sentences. The normally isolated hacker almost flinched when the First Lieutenant's gaze fell upon her, though the smile did do much to soften the sudden spotlight of Selmy attention.

"Look, neither Ruby or I had many friends when we were growing up so... ah. Do you think, do you think you'd like to come to the staff quarters sometime? My own room is in the Hero's quarters, but John and Molli are going to host a holiday party after the mission is over. Think, think you'd come with me Master Hacker?" she stopped and grabbed Katya's hand gently, "Katya, will you come? You can talk to Ruby I think, if she stays at arm's length."

The sensation of the gentle touch of Dolores' hands upon her own was almost enough to make the Rising Dawn's Resident Ubergeek jump out of her own skin. It wasn't like the feeling was unpleasant but when faced with a form of attention that she was unused to, Katya's reactions had no script upon which to rely on. Sure she talked a big game when she spoke of Elise's beauty/bangability or the relationship between Luke and Teri but it was, up until recently, the only way that the Hacker knew how to act. Years of developing her Internet Muscles had ill equipped her to flex her own emotional ones.

"[color=CC8899]#OhWow,[/color]" The Hacker muttered as she reflexively fell back on her pre-loaded responses. Was... the young First Lieutenant asking her out? [color=CC8899]"S..s...sure. I'd love to.[/color]"

The response had just fallen out of her mouth without her really realizing what she'd just said. With her anxiety revolving around the situation spiking, the Hacker Heroine's eyes began to look at everything in the room except the two people seated at her table. Katya's breathing increased slightly as she attempted to navigate the uncharted waters in front of her.

Sensing the discomfort of their host, the millions of Nano-Agents that called Katya Rostikova's body home induced an increase in dopamine levels while bonded with the adrenaline molecules in their Mistress' bloodstream. The effect was near immediate as Katya's heart rate decreased as did her respiration rate. The girl sighed as she felt herself relax and able to think more clearly.

"[color=CC8899]I'd love to visit you and Ruby, Selmy, and a if you and her had few friends growing up, you can include me in that little group... since... well... the friends that I had when I was younger didn't really count as friends, I don't think, since I never really spoke to them outside of a game or a forum. So... yeah... we can be the Three Socially Awkward Musketeers![/color]" The Hacker cheesily stated as she became more comfortable with the conversation, "[color=CC8899]But, Dolores, what the deal with...[/color]" She left Ryan's name unsaid but dramatically indicated the Masked Hero with her eyes, "[color=CC8899]Seems like a nice enough guy.[/color]"

Turning her attention back to the Author, Katya remembered his previous question as to what she knew of Anime.

"[color=CC8899]If the Director/Philosopher/Destroyer of Childhoods, M. Night Shyamalan is to believed, Anime would be an extension of Comic Books, which are an extension of mankind's oral tradition that revolve around extraordinary people... super heroes.... that's not what you meant is it?[/color]"

"[color=CC8899]I like... you know... the normal stuff. Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Ghost in the Shell is a personal favorite, Record of Lodoss War, Witch Hunter Robin but I've been really getting into the whole Monogatari series. You know they covered a similar theme about aberrations in Monogatari as Unbreakable? They theorized that Aberrations come about through human belief and emotion, not unlike how the Gods came to America in American Gods.[/color]"

Katya stopped herself again as she realized the amount of nerdiness she'd just paraded around the table. The tinge of blush came back to her cheeks as she felt herself getting flustered once again.

"[color=CC8899]Wait... what was the question again? Oh yeah... I've also been watching this series call Gate, and Thus the JSDF fought there and then there's Your Lie in April and Evangelion... you know... why don't we have an Eva on this ship? I guess how their made makes it a little out of the question. Oh oh oh! Also, I've got this list, you see. It's rather large and the problem is that I'm always adding to that list but I never have enough time to watch... that's sorta the problem with liking anime isn't it? Never enough time to watch everything that you want to watch... You know what? Here. Have a copy of my list.[/color]"

Tapping her mobile, the Rising Dawn's Geek Girl flicked a file towards Ryan's direction, sending the file to whatever device he had on his personage.

Morning:
Rory Mercury | Naamah | Sloth
[hr]

There were very few instances in Rory Mercury's long lifetime where she could remember being disarmed. While she'd never had her Halberd taken from her, it was a strange sensation being robbed of her anger. Though he was one of the causes of Rory's downfall from the Heavens, he was not aware of it nor was he the primary cause. Sighing, slightly, the Demi-Goddess adjusted the black cat ear like hand band that topped her head, the accessory having been jostled out of position by Sloth's arrival. Even Naamah, who had been rather irate at the time seemed to settle down after Sloth spoke. The incarnation had an aura of being rather harmless as he seemed more apt to taking a nap than to destroy the ship.

The situation had appeared to settle itself and the threat of violence seemed to have subsided for the time being. Given what the Former Goddess had heard about this particular Vice, it was a good thing. The ship had already suffered enough damage and a battle between Rory and Sloth would likely shatter the ship's backbone and cause it to sheer it two. Given one of the rumors that Rory had heard, that Sloth was able to erase a being from this reality, it was good that the route had turned to peace. The last thing she wanted was for this massive ship to crash into a town filled with innocent lives.

Two sets of eyes were upon her and upon their lips, though lip would have been the better term as Naamah did not appear to have any, were a set of similar questions.

"Sorry, I can't really say as I know you, but you do look awful familiar. Uh, who are you again?"
"What do you know of this creature?"

Leaning her Halberd against a wall, Rory pointed Sloth to a seat that appeared to be capable of supporting his weight. She sighed briefly as she recounted the events that brought her from the realm of the immortal gods back into this one.

"Before my re-emergence in the Mortal Realm, I had ascended and become the Goddess of Love for my world, a place that the people of this world had taken to calling the Special Region. It's not widely known but Gods do sometimes become lonely and once in a while, they come together and congregate. They laugh, they drink, they eat, they socialize... all but one. Sloth just sleeps on a couch in the middle of the festivities." Rory made a point of looking at Sloth at this point, "It was during one of such gatherings, this time hosted by the Vices as they called themselves, that I, drunk upon the many a potent drink, struck a wager with Hardy, the Goddess of the Underworld for the Special Region. I was so self assured in my new Goddesshood that I boldly stated that I could find a love for anyone. Hardy, hearing this, laughed and said that I was drunk and shouldn't make such claims."

The very mention of Hardy caused Rory to bristle. That Goddess had hounded Rory for so long with a proposal for Marriage that Rory's only escape appeared to be ascention to the Gods' Realm. But, that did not stop the tenacious Goddess of the Underworld from dropping in on Rory every other year or so.

"I was so annoyed by that statement that I wagered my Godhoos that I could make anyone in this room fall in love. As I said this, I gestured at all of the laughing and smiling Gods, missing the one form that was asleep on the couch. Hardy, sensing that she could once again have a plaything back in the Mortal Realm seized the opportunity and agreed upon the bet. She pointed at Sloth, the vile creature that had not wakened but once during the soiree to find a more comfortable position." The annoyance at Sloth started to creep back into Rory's voice as she spoke of him, "As you can see, here I am, in the Mortal Realm. I wasn't able to find anyone that could wake the slumbering Vice. I wasn't able to find anyone that could rouse him with a showering of love for him. He slept while many a Goddess tried to win his affection. When the Gathering Ended, so did my time as a Goddess."

A tinge of sadness had crept into the voice of the normally mischievous Demi-Goddess of Death.

"Before I was thrown back to the sea of mortals, I was able to speak with my former Patron, Emloy, and convince him to take me as his Oracle once again... and thus here I am, with no one to blame but myself. Though, I do feel a slight anger towards anyone that would willingly sleep when love is banging on their front door."

Rory stopped and ran her fingers across the strands that had woven themselves around her body, attempting to sooth the angered Naamah. While Gods had free will and the ability to do with it what they pleased, Rory didn't think that the incarnations of Vices and Virtues had that luxury, after all, they were the embodiment of their domain.

"So, sloth. What is this about a mission that you've been given?"

Rising Dawn Medical: Violet, Elise

Violet was quick to accept Elise's offer, giving the guards at Kazuya's door a prime chance to make fun of them behind their backs.
"Oh, of course he fucking would. She's almost as fake in her personality as he is. They fucking deserve each other..."
"Hey, want to see my impression of Elise...?" one of them said before pushing his tongue against the inside of his cheek and pretending to stroke in his hand, imitating a sexual act I hope I don't need to explain to you.
"Oh, please, you should see my impression of Violet..." The other remarked before-...doing the exact same motion, prompting both men to have a good laugh before returning to their duty.

As for the man himself, he was beaming as he walked around his perfectly functional arm in that sling, He must have quite a lot of experience at pulling sickies.
"Oh my, I was just about to make you that offer myself! Why, is this isn't a good omen for things to come, then I don't know what is!" The Fab Doctor swooned, least until the comparison to Kazuya came to mind.
"I will say this however, I have little intention of treating you as he did me. I tried to reason with him, to guide him. Unlike him, I endeavor to actually listen. Under my leadership, G-Corporation will become a shining beacon of hope the world over! And Furthermore-"

His speech was interrupted as a Ex-NOD Soldier bumped into him, while he converted to G-Corp and was wearing their uniform, he kept the helmet because, and I quote, "It looked cooler". [http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff235/ffs-dontcare/CC%20Screenshots/CNCTS_Nod_soldier_closeup.jpg]
"Pardon me." He said before quickly shuffling towards a group of his friends who seemed to be waiting on something to happen.
"...*Ahem* now as I was saying, We are now open to the business of peace and-"
This was then followed by a smoke grenade that was sneaked into his pocket going off, causing the doctor to be blinded by a cloud of green smoke, prompting the mockery of everyone in the room while the Ex-NOD Soldier shared a high five with his peers.
Despite the fact they were enemies less then a day ago, they seemed to be united in their belief of how much Violet sucked.
Enraged, he managed to disarm the grenade before waving the smoke away and shouting "Right! Who did that?!"
He didn't get much of an answer from any of the guards while the actual culprit left the scene with his buddies in tow to get something to eat.

Clearing his throat for a moment before attempting to play it down, He then said "...Oh, that's-...That's a...Company invitation prank...fooooorrrrr whhhennn people get promoted! Like me! [sub]Yeah, that-that-thats it[/sub]..."

Rising Dawn: Captain's room: Rugal

"..."
For all the things that happened on the Rising Dawn, it was still a bit more then Rugal could take at the moment to see a former serial nemesis of his sudden appear before his eyes and disappearing.
While he would have been able to tell what had happened was that it was most likely some form of magic he was using, in his current state, it just made him noxious to even think about it and before long he found himself hunched over the sink in his bathroom, puking out a good degree of the fluids he had ingested earlier that morning.
Wiping his mouth before looking at himself in the mirror, all he could manage was a tried laugh as he grumbled "Damn that tricky bastard..."
Following a quick wash/post binge clean up, he then accepted the herbal tea, using a coffee warmer on his desk to keep it hot, before heading back onto the ship's hallways

Morning: Ribbons, Ribbons Everywhere
Love Babbage-Lovelace
[hr]

It was obvious that the G-Corp Guards had never worked guard detail in an infirmary otherwise they would have known that it was bad manners to be speaking so loudly while there were recovering patients present. It was also quite obvious that these guards were raised in a house located somewhere between a Naval Base, a Truck Stop and a Whore House (Most likely within the walls of the Whore House) if they were insensitive to the fact that such an impressionable mind was laying in a bed not 10 feet away from where they loudly joked and made lewd comments relating to two their fellow crew members.

"Oh, of course he fucking would. She's almost as fake in her personality as he is. They fucking deserve each other..."

Granted, these men could have been the product of a broken home, a failed educational system and possible incest but there was no excuse for the way these degenerates spoke. If this Violet person and this Elise person had found a small measure of happiness, who were these men to judge? The young patient stirred slightly as the men's words fell upon her ears before burrowing their way into her young mind. Oblivious to the young patient who was still recovering from the previous night's ailment, the guards continued with their debase antics and commentary.

"Hey, want to see my impression of Elise...?"
"Oh, please, you should see my impression of Violet..."

Hidden beneath a mass of black and white hair, a pair of golden flecked eyes slowly appeared as Ruby Babbage-Lovelace began to wake. She was aware that she was in some sort of hospital, she'd seen enough of them represented on television and historical films to know that much. She was aware that every muscle, every tendon, every bone and every cell in her body ached as if they'd been ripped apart, dipped in liquid fire and put back together. She was aware that her clothing was in a sad state of affairs. The tatters lay on a vacant chair, the doctors having replaced her clothing with more suitable garb for a patient. What she was not aware of was the meaning of the gesture that the two men made in reference to the ones known as Elise and Violet.

The inquisitive young child would have asked the men what that gesture meant were it not for the untimely and unfortunate (for them) detonation of a smoke grenade within the confines of a Medical Ward. While the men might not have been aware of this or cared even if they had been aware of this, their actions were highly frowned upon in the medical establishment. Having read a number of books on the matter, Ruby was quite aware that the residue given off by the smoke generating device was coating the medical instruments that were supposed to be sterile. The Hospital's staff would have to spend hours cleaning their tools, the walls and the bedding just to make sure that no trace of the contaminant remained. The smoke also caused Ruby to start coughing and that was pretty bad too considering how sore she felt all over her body.

Their presumed safety within the billowing cloud of smoke must have emboldened the men as their hardy laugh bounced off the walls of the room. The guards sounded rather pleased with themselves at having pulled off such a stunt and were in the middle of getting away with it.

*THUD* A chair was toppled near the young girl as the men made good on their escape.

Picking herself up from her bed, she ignored a calm robotic voice that advised her to remain where she was. She also ignored the dull pain of her bones that multiplied with every step she took. What she could not ignore was the fact that the chair that had been knocked over contained the dress that she'd been wearing upon arrival. What she could not ignore was the large boot print that made itself at home in the garment's very threads.

Her mothers had given her that dress for her ninth birthday. The cloth that was used to produce the dress had been crafted from a single thread of spider's silk. It required the work of a full troop of Fae to sew the dress together as the fragile material would tear in the hands of a larger creature. Once completed however, the pink and frilly dress was a sight to behold. It made the young girl feel as if clothed in her mothers' love. In a word, the dress was very special to its owner and the fact that such a vile human would disrespect her belongings angered the young girl deeply.

"Stop right there, jerkfaces!" Ruby called out loudly into the smoke filled room. Tapping into the powers taught to her by her mothers, the miniature magus gestured at the sheets that lay on her once occupied bed and caused them to flutter back and forth in the air, filtering out the smoke particles and revealing the location of the knaves that had soiled the young girl's dress. Another gesture combined with the appropriate words caused the men to stop in their tracks and unable to move. It was an unfortunate thing for them that they happened to be wearing clothing. Ruby's magics ensured that they were as rigid as steal.

Confused by their sudden inability to move, the men cried out in confusion before they noticed the young girl that was standing in their midst. She stood only as high as the tallest one's chest and looked to be no heavier than 70 pounds soaking wet. Her hair was black interwoven with shocks of silvery white hair. A childish expression of anger was plastered all over her face as she looked at the men that had desecrated her most favorite of items.

She could have ripped them apart, using their own clothing as the instruments for their demise. She could have caused them pain beyond measure BUT that would have gone against the teachings of her mothers, Deborah and Titania, about using the powers gained from her Ars Magnus. Sighing, the young girl walked over to her tattered dress and started brushing it off, delighted to see that the foot print was disappearing with each swipe of her hand.

"You're a bunch of meanies, playing your jokes when people are trying to get better. What kind of hospital lets you do this?" The child chastised the guards. She allowed a sigh of relief to slip between her childish lips as she saw that the last of the stain had been cleaned from her dress. Calm now, she kept them men held until their boss arrived but as she waited, Ruby Babbage-Lovelace turning to them, an inquisitive look on her face, "What's this mean?" The girl asked as she pantomimed the gesture the two guards had made earlier.

Avatar Adventures | The Airship: Rising Dawn | The Canteen
Morning
???

Apparently, portals were not that uncommon on the Rising Dawn. So it would probably not bother too many people, when a purple one opened, and a person was pushed through, falling on her bum. "And never show up again!" was called after her. She raised her fist, calling back: "It was just a prank! You ..." she stopped her sentence, as the portal had already vanished, leaving her on the ground.

As Diana Black was scrambling to get back to her feet, people in the canteen would get a good look at her. And what a look it was! Diana did not only have natural dark blonde hair, the height (being about 5'11''), body type and sizes of a super model, she also wore a fitting outfit. Her black mini-dress was well rounded with the fitting stiletto heeled ankle boots and some diamond jewelry, looking like she could walk on a red carpet right now. Just a second after she dusted off her dress and her thighs, the portal opened again, for a second, and a small black purse, also diamond equipped, was thrown into the canteen. Diana caught it easily, and was about to shout an obscenity, as the portal vanished again.

"Damn this job." Diana murmured, as she was looking over the place she had arrived in. What do we have here? A well rounded place of freaks, it seems, she thought. I hope these people understand fun, at least.

With small and elegant steps Diana walked over to the group of people she saw talking. She held out her hand in greetings, addressing no one in particular, yet. Putting up a friendly smile, though she could not hide a little bit of arrogance, and licking her lips slightly, she started with a little bit of small-talk.

"Good ... what time of day is it here? ... Anyways, nice to meet you all. As I do not know you, I will introduce myself as Dream. Code names and stuff, I'm sure you'll understand.
I do not know why I was rudely brought here, but I could imagine it had something to do with ?putting as much distance as possible between us?. Ahh, but these are personal things, I should not bother you with such."

Bringing the index finger of her other hand to her mouth, and licking it slightly, Diana looked like she was thinking about what to say next. In truth, however, she was already trying to peer into people's minds. What are they thinking about me? Are they dangerous? Are they fun? Can they notice my telepathy? And, most important of all, how would the perfect woman (or man) look like for them?

All of these were questions she wanted to have answered. Preferably without people noticing that they were answering. And she would be successful, unless someone had put a blockade against mind-reading into their own mind.

"Anyways, I think I would like some talk right now, before I get bored. Maybe a little bit of explanation about this place? I'm sorry if my sudden appearance made you uncomfortable."

[hr]

OoC: I just realized I did not post the sheet in this thread. Here it is:

Names: Dream/Nightmare
Birth Name: Diana Black
Species: Human/Nova/Shape-changer
Sex: Female
Age: 23
Eye colour (natural): Blue, glowing coldly
Hair colour (natural): Dark Blonde
Height (natural): 181 cm / 5 ft 11 in
Weight (natural): That's rude.
Cup Size (natural): DD
Blood Type: O
Origin: Aberrant
Morality: Mercenary for hire. For everything. "Killing isn't enough fun."

Diana wears a jet black mini--dress with open back detail, and equally black stiletto heeled ankle-boots, looking like she is attending some kind of high-society party. All her clothes, as well as her purse, are made out of a material called "Eufiber", which is a lot more flexible and durable than normal clothing, and provides some protection against physical damage. It is directly linked to Diana, and can change form if she changes form.

Even though she already has the height and appearance of a super-model, Diana clearly has been to the gym, as lean muscles are visible and make clear that she already has higher-than-average strength. With long legs, a cute but not too cute face, long dark blonde hair and cold blue eyes, she could already appear in the dreams of men in her natural appearance. Her skin colour is a pale white. The eyes glow, naturally, this being a sign of her powers, and the glow needs to be actively suppressed to be changed.

Although ... not much of this matters, as Diana tends to use her power of shape-changing quite a lot around people. Changing little details, like eye, skin and hair colour, the size of her nose and breasts, making her even more attractive for people who don't know what they are in for. And this does not factor in several types of animals or mythical creatures she does like to turn into, to perform certain tasks. It also does not count the nightmare monsters she likes to turn into, mainly directly taken from the worst nightmares of her adversaries.

Arrogant and cold towards most, unless she has an interest or sees an advantage to take, Diana thinks herself better than other people. She can be respectful or seductive in places, though she has quite sadistic traits, as well. Even though she basically has no morals, she has an attitude about them, thinking of most villains with disgust. She gladly works for, with, or against someone, no matter their morals, if it benefits her own sake, or at least amuses her. She dislikes killing (unless for eating), but does it when necessary. She rather has fun in other ways. She likes birds, parks and nature.

As a shape-changer and telepath, Dream likes to turn into the wildest dreams of the people she meets ... or their worst nightmares.
Shape-changing:
Diana can turn into basically anything, if it does not exceed the size of a small house, or is smaller the size of a large insect. Her strength increases and decreases depending on what she turns into. In dragon form, she is easily able to bite through metal. She can thicken her skin, to get armour, grow claws, to fight as well as to climb, can change her lungs to support her life in unnatural circumstances, like poison clouds, radiation or vacuum. She can change her skin to the colour and texture of backgrounds, like a chameleon, increasing her chances to go undetected. She can grow extra limbs, support brain and heart to extend her life if damaged, grow gills, spines, tendrils, webbed hands and wings, to fly. All of this can be combined, although it exceeds her power to get too much at once. An example for a maximum is the dragon form, which has skin to deflect normal bullets, claws, wings, and is the size of a small house, gaining her extra strength, stamina, as well as making her more durable.

She can also easily copy the appearance of anyone she sees, although no abilities, unless she can get them naturally.

Telepathy:
Unless a person has a resistance (like extremely high willpower, a psychic shield or a mental blocker) against it, Diana can read minds like an open book, knowing all active and actively suppressed thoughts, and she is as well able to search the memories of a person. If someone has resistances, against it she has a lot more difficulties. A medium psychic shield would need a mental battle to read the mind, a better one she can't pierce without help.
If she activates her telepathy, she can also sense the minds of the people around her, in the area of a medium-sized mansion. This can help her to detect stealthy enemies, unless they also have a shield.
One of her most powerful abilities is the ability to alter memories. This takes a lot of effort, though she can basically rewrite big parts of a persons life, if he or she does not have any resistance against it. Mostly it is used to place dumb ideas into a persons mind, though, or change parts of their sexual preferences.

Her speciality is the combination of both abilities, scanning a mind for sexual fantasies of a person, and altering her appearance according to it. She likes to lure people to her, then turn into their worst nightmares after the act, to scare, kill, or eat them.

Tainted Powers:
If in danger, Diana can take some of her permanent energy, to get a new superpower for a time. This does not damage her physically, but takes a toll on her mental health, and can make her weaknesses worse or even add a new one.

Armour: Diana is naturally more durable against all kinds of physical damage, being able to resist heavy punches, minor burns, etc.
Psychic Shield: Diana has, as a telepath, a shield against all kinds of mental scans or damage. It can't really resist against a pure telepath, but it is enough to prevent people to know her thoughts if she reads theirs, and to resist mind scanners and lie detectors.

Glowing eyes: If not actively suppressed, Diana's eyes glow unnaturally. This can make people uncomfortable, or show that she is not the real person, if copying an appearance. Though it is not enough for unsuspecting persons to realise consciously, and she can suppress it actively, for a time, to pass off as a normal human.
Bipolar Disorder: Diana is bipolar, meaning she can be in a manic, or a depressive state of mind at times. If manic, she can tend to delusions of grandeur, if depressive, she can't force herself to get out of bed at times. She also has fairly normal times. She does take medication against the worst effects of this illness.

A small purse is enough she needs, apart from her body. In it, she has all kinds of little spy equipment, medication, as well as a huge amount of British pounds and a credit card. She also has a modern smartphone with a special SIM and a huge contact list, including contacts in the model industry, in the porn industry, in British high society and in detective agencies, police and military. Even though she can't travel worlds herself, she can phone someone who can create a portal to get her in and out of a place.

Location: Canteen | Rising Dawn
Scars the eye cannot see.

Titania

Ryan was an odd one. Hard to read, harder to predict. Sometimes he was surprising and sometimes he was disappointing. This one moment in time however, it was very, very hard to say which it was. Selmy fell out of her chair, heart beating in her chest. Her eyes were wide with some sort of primordial or instinctive fear.

"I mis... mis... mis..." she tried to say. All of her previous gusto was gone. It still looked as if it reviled her to be addressing the masked Author but now it seemed as if her brain had finally caught up to her emotions. "I misspoke... Master... Ninja..." she said. To Katya the First Lieutenant made a side note, "He makes my skin crawl. Something about him... isn't right. Isn't normal. I don't think he's like you and I, I just had this absurd dislike of him."

Though the wayward observer would not be the only one surprised by the exchange. The Author himself, that Ryan, drew his gaze upon Ms. Dolores Selmy and his special eyes caught sign of something absurd. The child was empty. Where there ought to have been some sort of life energy - be it chakra or ki or even mana - she had none. Her body was like a cut-out of a black cloth on the environment.

Before anything else of note could happen an Observational Event occurred and a new entity was deposited in the Canteen. A woman - a shapeshifter at that. Selmy was entranced by the stranger. Her face was burning a flush crimson. By sheer force of will the young woman had forgotten about the instinctive fear of Ryan.

"She... she's pretty," Selmy muttered under her breath.

Rising Dawn Medical: Violet, Elise, Ruby, Squad "Kappa Delta Frat"

The Squad was a in a mixture of confusion and annoyance, they were told the Rising Dawn was a weird place and once they found themselves locked in place mid stride, they had a funny feeling as to why.
"Ohhhhh come on....Urrrrgggggg..." The Ex-NOD groaned as he looked over to Ruby as she demanded to know why they were pranking Violet.
"Hey, the guy still has his arm in a sling from that fight yesterday, figured he could do with some cheering up. And Laughter *IS* the best medicine after all..." He half answered/half mocked, a few of his mates even trying to high five him again despite their situation, whatever about his past, he seemed to be making fast friends in his new faction.
Then Ruby went and asked about the "Impression" she saw and this nearly killed all of them as they then burst out laughing, one of them quickly going into actual pain.
"HEHEHEEHAHAAH-I CAN'T-AHAHEHEHEHEAHAHAHAHAHAHAH-OH-OW-OW-OW-OWWWWHOHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" He kept bantering in the background while the Ex-NOD tried to answer her question.
"...Well, I could tell you, but the explanation contains spoilers for "The Birds and The Bees" and, believe me, you're going to want to see that first. It's just not the same when someone spoils it for ya. Maybe ask your mom or someone about it?" He expertly answered right as Elise began to step in least this poor innocent mind get corrupted by sin.

While the men were in good graces before she arrived, her threats about stringing them up in the corners of the ship did help to silence them, least outside of that one guy who was struggling to breathe while this was all going on.
"eHEHEHEEHEHE-*COUGH*-PLEASE...OHHHHAHAHAHAAHHH-I'M IN ACTUAL AGONY!"
"Alright...point taken Ma'am. Won't happen again...now, I can please request the use of my limbs? I want to get at the coffee before those weird Imp guys put ghost peppers in it again..."
Violet meanwhile hung back, partly out of embarrassment that Elise had to clean up his mess but mostly because he realized his sling was now damaged and he was scrambling to repair it before anyone noticed that his arm wasn't actually hurt. (An effort that I might add was fooling very few.)

Rising Dawn: Canteen: Rugal, Katya, Dolores, Ryan, Dream

While Dillon's herbal brew was helping, Rugal still was rather tried and had a bit of a headache as he entered the Canteen, notably avoiding eye contact with the Imps that had just about finished cleaning up after him.
Walking into the usual hustle and bustle of the canteen, he did stop for a moment to notice the newcomer, part curious and part resenting this airships affinity for randomly teleporting in people.
"Ahhh, the fates test us once more..." He grumbled to himself as Dream began to introduce herself to the others.

"Anyways, I think I would like some talk right now, before I get bored. Maybe a little bit of explanation about this place? I'm sorry if my sudden appearance made you uncomfortable."
"If you stay around here long enough, then sudden appearances will quickly be the least of your concerns..." He introduced himself as he walked up to the strange woman before stating "My name is Rugal. I'm the closest thing to a captain around here. Welcome to the Rising Dawn."
There was little enthusiasm to his voice and there was a clear exhaustion on his face, she knew it herself: Late night at the bottom of a wine glass.
At least she knew that they permitted that much around here...

Rising Dawn: Canteen: Ryan, Icarus, Selena, Danny Boy, Rugal, Katya, Dolores, Dream
Icarus had just finished his breakfast With Danny boy sitting on the floor, he then saw more of the crew entering but he saw one unusual sight, a man with a strange orange mask.
He got up and walked over to the strange man, Umm excuse me I hope you don;t find me rude but I seemed to notice you have an unusual aura about you. My name is Icarus and I have a weird sense for these things" he smiled but her probably came across as quite strange, then again the Rising Dawn probably had weirder characters than a teenager dressed in black medieval/Renaissance style clothes and black angel wings.
"I'm very interested in knowing how you obtained such a strange trait."
He saw teh strange man seeming a bit uncomfortable
"Oh surely you know what I mean," with that his eyes began to change, they turned to a blood red
as they transformed He could see the horror seeping into the man technically Icarus was bluffing he had never mastered the Sharingan but his mother had, and his sister was a swift learner, he knew of it but preferred to learn techniques in his own way though doing so did make him more unorthodox.

Icarus then pretended to struggle and his eyes reverted back to their normal violet, In reality he was just putting up an illusion but his Ki energy was so similar to the Chakra used with the techniques of ninjustsu it was hard to distinguish and since his illusions required him to focus his ki and very few hand motions it was even harder to detect.
