Hey bro... I heard you like alliteration...
Katya Rostikova | ARES | Miia | (D)Ic(k)arus | David West | Ryan Wheatley
[hr]

As she entered the elevator that would lead her to the roof of the apartment building, Katya Rostikova could head the Darkly Dressed Doofus named (D)Ic(k)arus start to speak. It wasn't as if the Bold and Boisterous Information Broker was trying to listen to the Squeaky and Surly Sounds of the Demented Demi-Dumbass' words but there was always the off chance that he might have mistakenly come up with a viable plan just like there was always the chance that you could throw ten pennies into a cup located ten feet away while blindfolded. Besides, it felt like the Lavish Lady Luck might have been on their side today so even the most poorly put of plans might have worked.

"Hmm Selena still has Ariel coverage, she could generate barriers to protect us, and Illusion magic combining hers with my own powers, they may not even know we left. This could work Perfectly if all of us were athletic and skilled at parkour. Unfortunately though some of us are more fit than others." The Warrior Wannabe with a Witchy Waifu said, plagiarizing Katya's idea, as the door closed and the elevator car started moving. As the Brightly Lit Box ascended the Broken Apartment Building, Katya found her foot tapping involuntarily to the beats being broadcast over the Muzak speakers.

The ride would have been a rather pleasant one if it were not for the completely contradictory commotion caused by the actions of a certain simpleton with a superiority complex. The amusing Muzak suddenly came to a crashing halt, along with the elevator car itself as the entire building was rocked by an ear bursting explosion.

CRACK!

BOOOOOM!

The hairs on Young Katya's head started to stand on end as pulses of static electricity traveled through the metal frame of building, into the elevator shaft and into the elevator car. Though she was thankfully unharmed by the electical pulse, thanks to her distance from the epicenter of the explosion as well as the building's insulation, the Hacker Heroine was still never the less annoyed by the Black Winged Bastard's sabotage of reasonably silent escape as well as the fact that the electical explosion had knocked out the building's own power. Standing in the silent darkness of the unmoving car, the Rising Dawn's Resident Humor Fueled Hacker did the only thing a sane person would do, she screamed through the elevator doors at the Idiot named Icarus.

"WAY TO FUCKING GO! 'THEY MAY NOT EVEN KNOW WE LEFT?!' NOT FUCKING LIKELY THANKS TO THAT SONIC SIGNAL YOU SOUNDED OFF! NOW EVERY BISON BACKED BONEHEAD WITH A BERETTA IS GONNA BE COMING THIS WAY! WHO THE FUCK TAUGHT YOU FUCKING TACTICS... OH I'M SORRY MAYBE IT'S STRATEGERY IN YOUR CASE?!" The Distressed Digital Dame screamed through the walls on the off chance the Half-Assed Angelic Angst Magnet would hear her words. Huffing in the darkness for a bit, Katya Rostikova listened for the pitter patter (or Slither Slather in Miia's case) of any passing heroes. Hearing none, the Hacker with a Heart walked over to the elevator doors and slid her fingertips between their minuscule gap. There was a slight groan of protest before the doors parted and revealed another set of doors beyond. Using the same plan on a different set of doors and Katya found herself on the second to top level of the building.

"[small]Right.[/small]" The Young Woman muttered to herself as she crashed through the doors that lead to the stairwell, spotting the rest of the group a few floors down, "DID YOU WANT EVERY GOON WITH A GUN HERE? WHAT HAPPENED TO 'THEY MAY NOT EVEN KNOW WE LEFT?!' YOU KNOW WHAT? YOU'RE LIKE BRAIN CANCER! MIND CANCER! NOT LIKE A BRAIN TUMOR, YOU'RE HURTING MY IDEAS!!" The irate sister of Irina Rostikova screamed before scrambling up the remaining flights of stairs and exiting onto the roof.

"What in the holy hells?" Came the Curse of one who could not believe her eyes. Standing on the roof of the apartment building Katya could only stare dumbfounded at one of the strangest sights that she'd laid eyes upon since arriving on the Rising Dawn. Floating in the sky was the Witching Woman that could have only been Selena the Vapid, she must have been so if she had partnered up with and took orders from that Brooding Bucket of Dark Blackness, and clinging to the floating woman's leg was what could only be identified as a mermaid.

"It never ends..." Katya muttered before walking over to the edge of the building and looking down. There were a fair number of Officers that had been rendered unconscious or outright turned into bacon by the black electrical blast but there were also a fair number of them moving to breach the building and even more of Bison's Goon Guards moving to back up the downed officers.

Avatar Adventures | The Airship: Rising Dawn | The Canteen
Interesting Suggestion...
Rory Mercury | Ruby Babbage-Lovelace | Anjali Khatri | Deborah Cerulean | Naamah | Farber the Ish | Luke | Violet
[hr]

It was not a rarity for Ruby Babbage-Lovelace to receive an impromptu gift from either of her mothers but looking at the small and simple blue charm that had been pinned on the young girl's pink dress, the nine-year-old girl could not help but smile brightly. She'd known her mothers for most of her life and knew that despite how simple the charm looked, it was magical in nature.

"I love it and of course I'll keep it safe!" The Pink Magician exclaimed as she magically sewed the charm onto her dress. As Ruby wrapped her arms around her mother's waist once again, she heard a clattering sound behind her. Turning, the black and white haired child noticed the now empty seat next to her and the Ish shaped void where Farber had been seated. Looking around the Canteen, she noticed the young boy attempting to retreat back into the corridors.

"FARBER! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" The girl called out as she raced over to where he was and started pulling him back towards the bar where Deborah Cerulean was seated, "I need to introduce you to my mom or we can't hang out anymore."

It was a fairly common practice for parents to meet their children's friends as a way of protecting them from bad influences. Given the Ish's age and magical ability, the Woman in Blue should have not had an issue with Ruby playing with Farber as it offered her daughter an opportunity to improve her magical ability, something that normal friends were unable to do.

"Mommy, this is my new friend Farber. He says he's an Ish and that he somehow ended up in a crate of chocolates was delivered to the ship." Ruby said before pointing at Miss Anjali, "And that's Miss Anajali. I just met her but I think she's new to being here as well as being new to her... condition. I was thinking that it would be nice if I could help them feel more at home."

Finding the newest additions to the Rising Dawn and making them feel welcome was a fairly common thing for Ruby to do despite the fact that not all of the members of Airship could be classified as child friendly. Still there had yet to be an incident that had endangered the girl and for the most part, she strove to endear herself to each and every member.

In the corner of the Canteen, an offer was made...

"
Code:
[b]You seem to have become very aroused. Would you like me to relieve you of the pressure building within you?[/b]
" Naamah's body shimmered and undulated. "
Code:
[b]It would be a little more expedient than what happened the last time.[/b]
"

There might have been a time in her younger years where the Demi-Goddess of Death would have readily accepted the offer of release from the tension building between her legs, however, having spent time as the Special Region's Goddess of Love, there was a large part of Rory Mercury's conscience that found the offer slightly distasteful.

"No, that's alright Naamah" The Crimson Cheeked Apostle of Emloy said in a breathy voice as she stood up on slightly shaking legs. A bright light in the distance caught the woman's eyes as someone discharged a rather large electrical bolt. Rory found herself on one knee, her hand gripped with white knuckled around the haft of her Halberd while her teeth were clenched as she attempted not to make a spectacle of herself. It was too late now. Even if Rory had taken up her companions offer the mission had shifted from one of covert infiltration to an all out battle. The only thing that would help Rory now was dispatching a large number of Bison's men and sending them into their afterlives.

Exiting the canteen, Rory the Reaper walked through the corridors of the massive Air Ship, her sound of her boots echoing off the bare metal walls. Moments later, the Demi-Goddess entered the Hanger, signaling one of the pilots that she needed to be dropped off within the city limits before hopping onto one of the VTOLS. Waiting for the transport to depart, another wave of souls passed through Death's Apostle and caused the Crimson Clad Reaper to moan loudly before covering her mouth. If the pilot didn't drop the Death's Demi-Goddess soon, it was likely that she would rip the VTOL apart before finding a more direct route to the city by jumping over the side of the ship.

Brainwashed Mob No. 1: Caim, Angelus

While her relocation did get her away from the shambling soldiers, Angelus quickly found herself regretting her choice of hiding spot as when she went against the side the tent, she found herself drawing the ire of one of the people inside.
Grabbing though the fabric of the tent, a pair of slender arms began to choke her from behind before throwing her to the ground in plain view of the others.
Once she recovered, she soon found her attacker, namely a Agent of Vega's Media Crew [https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/fd/1d/a2/fd1da27790c33716c870646b8e5e1654.jpg], sent here to help with "Morale" as well as give an air of authenticity to proceedings.
"All forces, lock the area down and check for any other intruders...this one is mine..." She ordered the zombie soldiers as they dropped what they were doing and began to look for others, making life more awkward for all involved but at least putting an end to the firing range.
Whether Angelus would find that a good thing or not was another story as the woman went for a flying kick straight to her face.

Back with Caim, his target was following his lead as planned as he left the turn table, but thanks to the efforts of the Doll, he was now a lot more on edge.
"What the-...Intruders!....YES! I've been ready for this moment for the last 10 years!" He gleefully shouted as he holstered his weapon before-...tearing off his shirt?
Keeping in mind where the last tap came from, he then climbed up on the nearest object he could find before Doing something he always wanted to do [https://youtu.be/RiyRfj35S8k?t=15s], spraying lead in Caim's general direction and collapsing several tents in the process.

Brainwashed Mob No. 3: Teri, Garm

The arrow flew thought the air before nailing the iPod, as well as knocking over the staffer from the impact.
Before the crooked staffer even hit the ground, the crowd had noticeably changed, going from hostile to just downright confused in the space of a second.
"Oh no! OH NO!" The staffer screamed as he realized what this meant, right as someone shouted "...What the-!? Where are my clothes?!"
"Where is my watch!?"
"THAT FAT ASS THERE! HE HAS THEM! GET HIM!"
And now that they were free from Bison's control, the Brainwashed Mob just turned into a normal angry mob as they began to chase down the street, the Cleric watching as they easily caught up to the overweight man and began to shake him down for all his ill-gotten gains.

Brainwashed Mob Freed! 3 Remain!
Brainwashed Mob No. 4: Batter, Ton Ton, Cadolbolg

The Joint strike on both speakers did a number on the crowd, as the broke, everyone within ear shot flinched as if they had just been struck themselves.
The last speaker ensured that the connection wasn't broken and it did not go un-noticed by the staff, who quickly attempted to regulate the situation.
"What the-Hey! Control yourselves! What the hell is the matter with you-..." one of them shouted before noticing Cadolbolg flying about as he tried to get the last speaker.
"...Son of a- KILL THAT FLYING-...TURTLE-...THING!" He ordered to the crowd as all eyes went to the little dragon.
Instantly, they began attempting to leap up and grab the little creature, even going so far as to climb up and jump off each other, causing the entire crowd to end up in a massive game of pile on.
They didn't seem to notice Ton Ton but that also meant they had little issue with accidentally landing on the creature as they tried to catch his ally.

Diana | Kalastryn

"Hey, Kalastryn, what'cha doing up there?" Diana called to her. "I met some kind of ugly mind-controlled Robo-Digimon from the Rising Dawn, I tried to free her, but she attacked me. Could it be that her heart was broken by someone? After the act, of course, that's normally how people go crazy.

Anyways, just waiting until she runs out of battery charges now. You?"

Kala heard, seemingly from nowhere since while flying as best as she could to avoid the myriad projectiles being fired into the air, looking towards a single direction might not be the best idea.

"Okay, I think I recognize that voice. "Dreamy?" She asked, apparently nonetheless allowing the fact that she probably wasn't alone there distract her for a moment. "Is telling me one of my friends has apparently switched sides against their will your idea of a sick joke?!" She yelled back, and for the effort, a rather well placed bullet pierced Kala's left leg.

"AGH, FUCK THIS!" screaming out in pain and frustration, she was quick to orient herself and find the rooftop were she was assualted, finding the cyborg that started the attack there...

Now, there were a number of ways to react in this situation. For the most part the damned thing was going to be a pile of useless scrap by the end of the day no matter which way... there was a certain satisfaction in being more clever than resorting to throwing lightning from the sky however.

As the hail of bullets, centered on Kalastryn, she didn't get out of the way at all. She opened another dimension door beneath herself, and above the cyborg, to give them a shower of it's own medicine.

Civilian Location No. 6: Katya, ARES, Miia, Icarus, David West, Ryan Wheatley

David watched as the situation got even more out of control, between Icarus's attempts to slip away by drawing even more attention to them and Katya basically yelling at the top of her lungs for the entire period.
Having already gone down the fire escape after Ghost of all people showed up to attempt to draw the heat off them, he was now waiting in the alleyway next to the building for the others, attempting to hotwire a pickup truck with the "Vega 2016" logo on the side.
Upon completing the task, he then hammered on the honk as hard as possible while shouting "EVERYONE! GET IN SO WE CALL YELL AT EACH OTHER AS A FAMILY!"

[HEADING=3]Once everyone was inside, David then hit the pedal to the metal as everyone got the hell out of dodge[/HEADING]

Leaving the cluster-fuck of a scene behind them, David then said "Okay....That escape could have gone better, but it's alright. It's alright...Just...need to hook up with the others and all will be well...", mostly to reassure himself more then anyone else.
"Okay, say if we didn't get Bison's attention already, I'd imagine we'd have it by now. All in favor of moving on the Capitol before this shit gets even more out of hand, hold your piece because this truck isn't a democracy."
And with that statement, David then turned a corner before making their way towards the Capitol Building, avoiding the check-points en route.

Capitol Building Compound: Kalastryn, Dream Vs. Jenny

Kalastryn's tactic of re-directing the lead heading for her location towards her enemies was enough to ward off the cyborg..."thing" that tried to attack her, prompting it to retreat into the shadows.
However, they weren't out of dodge yet as both women soon found themselves being pulled back down to ground level by their legs, each one having a ring of pure psychic energy yanking them out of the air and back to the ground, Hard.
The "Digimon" the marched up to their position, as did half the base as several million dollars worth of military hardware was now pointed right at them as the sound of gun cocking seemed to mute all other sound in the area.
All the while, Jenny stood her ground, by design, as she awaited her orders while the Commander of the base made her way over.
"Boys, boys...Settle down. Is that any way to treat our guests?..." a french voice said as The Compound's Commander [http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/metalgear/images/a/a4/Mistral_6000x4000.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20130210065509] revealed herself.
"Don't go trying anything, Rising Dawn. We have you completely surrounded and I doubt that little Jennifer here would like to soil her new body before her first mission..." She taunted as she playfully threw an arm over the Pokemon's shoulder, Jenny not even blinking as she did.
"All weapons, on the ground. Think about trying anything..." She then ordered before motioning for all the guards to turn on laser sights, coating the both of them in a swarm of red dots.

Strider Katana (Blade) & Strider Hime (Furiae) Strider Hien & Inuart Iprisson

Location: World Marshall Supply Depot, Outside of Denver [http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/17g9gv5p5cdqqjpg/ku-xlarge.jpg]
While Hien always prided himself on being a great battlefield commander, this was one encounter in which he was glad to lead from behind as his men were sent into the meat grinder.
Besides, he didn't want to miss the show that would be starting soon, he waited too long for this day to miss out.
Marching into the Control Room [https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/dc/75/7b/dc757b7f81dc8387b9149639f40ad291.jpg] hidden in the depot, he sent out a simple message.
Code:
You people better be ready to start the show soon. I didn't pull all those favors for you for nothing.
Hitting send on the panel, he then turned back to the hallway he had just walked in from, seeing a rather bloodied Groyvle standing before him.
"Ahhhh, the Freak returns...Never knew when to call it quits did you?"
"You are going to tell me Everything..."
"...I don't see why I would. The pieces are in place, everything is in position and I really doubt that one of Hiyru's "Pets" is really going to stop it now."
"SHUT IT YOU DAMN PIECE OF SHIT! WHERE IS JENNY?!"
"Alright, alright, fine. Only seems fair you get the same front row ticket she's getting..." Hien then sighed, much to Blade's confusion.
"...Front row ticket to what?"

With a punchable grin on his face, Hien then quickly tapped a few buttons, bringing up a collection of Bio-metric data, command protocols and video feeds onto the main display as a woman was talking.
"n't go trying anything, Rising Dawn. We have you completely surrounded and I doubt that little Jennifer here would like to soil her new body before her first mission..."
"...What did you-....no...You didn't-"
"Correct, I didn't. My employer on the other hand, Did. Did you know that all World Marshall Special projects have remote kill-switches?..." The Elite Strider said before hovering his hand over a innocent looking button.
"STOP-DON'T!"
"Take any move against me and she finds out what that little thing we put in her eye socket does..."
...
A tense silence filled the air, even as the battle raged outside as the Strider slowly stepped back.
"Good...Now take a seat...show is about to begin..."

Back outside, the remaining guard began to stack up on the stairwell leading into the building, the remaining gunners sticking towards the top of the stairs while both of Hien's guards stood their ground at the base, blocking the path and allowing their ranged fighters to take all the pot shots they wanted without as much fear of being sliced to pieces.
One of them even went so far as to taunt "Ha! That's what you get for bringing a sword to a gun fight! AHHAHA-"
Least until one of Furiae's throwing knives nailed him in the skull.
"Son of a *****! All Fire teams, kill that *****!" his comrade shouted before they began to focus their fire on Furiae, attempting to suppress her movement for one of the Elites to finish the job, notably seeming to ignore Inuart...

SOMEBODY COLLABED WITH SOME OF THIS
The Rising Dawn: Bar Luke, Farber, Ruby, Rory, Anjali, Namaah, Deborah

Luke allowed himself to relax once the initial... Well, "confusion" wouldn't be the appropriate term seeing as Farbar and Ruby caught on rather quickly to Anjali's condition. However, there was an avoidance of panic, from what he could see anyways, and instead decided to focus on the one patron who was actually talking about something relevant to his occupation, who had commented earlier on his skills,
"You make it well, though I do like it... sweeter."

The bartender felt the corner of his mouth twitch ever so slightly and gave a feigned expression of being hurt, before "recovering", taking back the now empty glass and said, [color=eca222]"Well, I can certainly make the second round a bit sweeter. I'm flexible enough. However, I will admit I've a habit for following recipes to the letter - You could call me something of a traditionalist that way."[/color][footnote]While googling allowed me to figure out the combination, I am not an expert mixologist and are going to assume that Luke knows how to modify the drink properly while I, the writer, do not.[/footnote]

As he began to work on his second Jack Rose, Luke noticed Anjali sitting by herself, nibbling on her liver quietly. Looking up from his work, the bartender shot the undead woman a friendly smile and called over, [color=eca222]"You're welcome to join us, if you'd like."[/color]

Brainwashed Mob No. 1: Caim, Angelus

After being thrown by her enemy, Angelus scoffed, readjusting her grip on Kingsblood and spat, "Interesting... I didn't know Bison was so full of himself that he dressed his concubines in his image!"
Unfortunately, the next attack put her little spiel on hold, as a flying kick was coming her way. The dragon-in-mortal-form brought up Kingsblood to block against it, only to have her would be assailant kick off and backflip away. This gave Angelus some much needed time, however, as when the assailant came in for another strike, this time a backhand; the dragoness drew flame into her hand and shot it towards the scantly clad woman!

Meanwhile, with the former prince of Caerleon, Caim's eyes widened in alarm at the sight of the gun and the incoming bullets, and rolled his way out of the way of some of the immediate fire. Looking around, Caim saw that the quickest method would probably be another jump, and Knight's Vow wasn't going to be exactly what Caim needed... Dipping into the Wheel, Caim extracted Windsinger [http://lparchive.org/Drakengard/Update%2058/36-truth42.jpg], and bent low, charging forward. Once he got a bit closer, the warrior lept up, above the gunman's head, and brought the polearm crashing down.

Brainwashed Mob No. 4: Batter, Ton Ton, Cadolbolg

Ton Ton gasped at the sudden insurgence of people, and in his panic forgoed the pact bond, electing instead to shriek, [color=15650D]"CADOLBOLG, FLY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!"[/color] before booking it to the next human with a speaker strapped to his back. While the little Tonberry had every bit of faith in his partner, the last thing he needed was the turtle-dragon baby freaking out and having Mistress knows what happen to him.

In the meantime, Cadolbolg, true to Ton Ton's worries, was a little thrown off by the giant wave of people coming for him. Were it not for Ton Ton's shout, he wouldn't have broken out of his little trance, and found his little wings flapping harder than any other time he could remember, shooting upwards towards the sky (and by proxy, causing the crowd to keep climbing over one another). Higher and higher, he climbed, his wings pumping with every breath and width of his being, before he looked down again, almost afraid of what he was to see next.

Meanwhile, as Ton Ton advanced on the last stereo strapped goon, he sensed his partner's trepidation, and shot a 'message' his way via their pact link, [color=15650D]"You're a good job, Cadolbolg! Just keep leading them away, and I can get the last speaker! It'll be over after that, I think."[/color]
"O-okay! I'll do what I can!"

After that final bit of affirmation from the flying turtle dragon baby, Ton Ton turned his attention back to his query and re-readied his knife, whispering, [color=15650D]"Mistress.... Guide my blade!"[/color] before charging towards the last speaker and leaping into the air, plunging forward into the piece of machinery.

Brainwashed Mob No. 3: Teri, Garm

Teri smiled in satisfaction as the mob got their goods back from the thief, and called from atop the building, [color=0E59E4]"Leave him alive! Let him learn from his lesson!"[/color]
Following that, she began shimmying down from the fire escape and reconvened with her lupine friend, who looked equally pleased as punch about the turnout of the current events,
[color=356D60]"Nice shot, Tear-ri! And those friends of your's you called in were real easy to order around. Made my part of the plan easy. Shame they disappeared so quick though..."[/color]

The Cleric gave Garm a scratch behind the ears after his little comment, [color=0E59E4]"I figured they would be most familiar to you. Now, gimme a sec, I'm gonna call Dad and see what to do next..."[/color]

Tapping into the power of the Rings, the young woman paused for a moment before she reached Rugal, and reported in,
[color=0E59E4]"Hey Dad, it's me. Garm and I just cleared out one of the outposts - the civilians are free and currently getting their stuff back from a bad guy. Where to now?"[/color]

She heard a pause, and the sound of a fist hitting flesh. The Cleric flinched at the sound, and then heard her father sort of "fade in", "I believe West said him and a few others were moving to the encampment. Regroup with them and I shall be around shortly."

[color=0e59e4]"Will do! I'll ring you again when I get there. I know you and Mum get a little paranoid."[/color]
She found herself laughing aloud at that, though not entirely out of mirth - it was true. After all, she wouldn't have gotten the training she had from her parents, or had been told to always having someone on her back, etc. etc. She knew they meant well, but it was... Stifling, at times. At least, she felt that way; Teri had a sneaking suspicion that Garm would very much disagree and make some comment about her being a pup again.

However, Rugal's voice cut in again, derailing the Cleric's train of thought, "Copy that. Let West know you are en route. Take care now."

[color=0E59E4]"Of course, Dad. You be safe too - I don't want to reset any bones when I get back. Oh, and if you get back to the ship before I do, tell Luke to leave out a glass of the good stuff for me! Teri out."[/color]

With the communique ended, Teri climbed onto her wolf friend's back and patted his side, [color=0E59E4]"Dad says we're going to meet up with David's group now. You know where to go from here?"[/color]

The wolf chuffed at the thought, and pointed his snout at her, [color=356D60]"Of course I do. I was at your meeting, and I know what to smell. Just sit back there and keep an eye out while we're going there."[/color]
[color=0E59e4]"Okay, okay! Lead the way, fuzzball."[/color]

As the ride continued on, Teri found herself feeling more ill at ease. It wasn't often that Rugal would speak to her so standoffishly; and the Cleric couldn't help but wonder why. Her mind first moved to the thought that A) her father was in the midst of a battle, which was reasonable; considering that he usually wasn't big on talking during those. B) The recent events involving G-Corp and the previous AIM workers, had put Rugal under a fair load of stress; so it could be pretty normal for him to still be short on those terms. Or... As much as she loathed to think of it, C) He was upset at her regarding the incident involving Kazuya and Lucifer. She never did get around to breaking it to her father that she had re-established contact with the Devil himself and was on healthier terms with the fellow; which if the conversation in the medbay was to go by - wasn't earning her any brownie points either. All in all, signs were pointing to her being an additional source of stress, and it wasn't feeling particularly good. Slumping in her spot, Teri could only give a small sigh, before Garm looked over his shoulder and asked, [color=356D60]"Weren't you gonna call that West guy?"[/color]
[color=0E59E4]"Right..."[/color]

[HEADING=2]The Rising Dawn Adventures[/HEADING]
Civilian Location No. 6: Katya, ARES, Miia, Icarus, Selena, David West, Ryan, whoever else

To Ryan's delight/Dismay Icarus had joined him in the back along with Selena
"I"m not sitting in enclosed Space with that insane woman, She's worse than a harpy and my ears are more sensitive than a Humans."
As they drove Icarus and Selena seemed to be concentrating and oddly enough the police barely noticed them pull away, considering his powers it wouldn't be unreasonable to conclude he and Selena were Combining their Illusionary powers to make the truck either unimportant or invisible. A lot of their equipment got shorted out By Icarus's Previous attack and those looking up at the window could swear they could hear sound and see silhouette's coming from inside. Icarus had a look on his face like he was not aware fo the current situation so he didn't hear Miia and Ryan's conversation or see her fuming.
"With luck they'll think we're still up there. How are you holding up Selena?"
The witch Smirked, "I'm doing a lot better than you I'm used to handling my magic for multiple tasks. But for the record we seem to be invisible and I have barrier spells at the ready if the illusion is broken."
Icarus Relaxed they had gotten farther away and he let out a sigh "Too far away to project, well They should still think we're in there. Especially with their equipment on haywire thanks to that lightning attack."
Icarus leaned back in his place with Selena sitting right beside him, He turned to see Ryan being squished by Miia. He opened his mouth to inquire but thought better of it.

Broken Doll
Location: Denver
Interficio ergo sum
Dolores Selmy

Nadalia, the Master Pyromancer, dispatched the enemy swordsmen and Wrath engaged the tank. The Lieutenant took several steps back and looked past the tank. The capitol building loomed in the distance as grandly unassuming as it had always been. Her eyes were as blue as the sky above and the viscera and blood that painted the world around her had not sullied her girlish form. With Bolverk in hand she took two steps forward and jumped. She jumped past Wrath and the tank, she jumped past Nadalia and the soldiers torn asunder. The Lieutenant landed on the other side of the battle and took off toward the capitol building.

Cyborg soldiers came in from the sides, matching the Lieutenant's immense ground speed. She put Bolverk out to her sides and let the weapons unload their fury into her adversaries. Yellow flame tore those men apart from within, turning them into piles of quivering flesh and scorched metal.

She reached the outskirts of the reinforced capitol building and gave it a once over.

"Just a hive of activity already huh," she chewed her lip gently. She raised Bolverk and began to take aim at what guards existed there. Her finger danced lightly on the trigger. She waited, she waited. Then she fired. One after the other yellow blossoms of flame bloomed around the guard posts. Then she kept going, entranced by the beauty of the lights, and bombarded the outside of the capitol building with violent fire.

Titania

"I speak no insults sir," Deborah said. She drank the rest of the cocktail and set the glass on the table. "It's just that I have quite the sweet tooth." She smiled. Her lips were ruby-red and glistening. She fingered the leather of her tome's cover absentmindedly.

Deborah almost seemed a little startled when Ruby piped up again. She turned to her young daughter and patted her on the head. "It's good that you're making friends," Deborah cooed. "It is so rare for you to be able to find a friend your own age." Deborah grabbed Farber by the shoulders and pulled him into a friendly hug, smothering him in her ample bosom. "And thank you for being Ruby's friend young Farber," She put her hand on his head and drew a hair off his scalp before slipping it into her book. Only after she had secured that sample did she let Farber out of the hug and once again into the sweetness of air.

"And to you who harbors spirits," Deborah said to Anjali. "Please, don't be a stranger. Come closer and speak freely. You are among friends - for we are friends to all."

Diana | Kalastryn

Diana was rather apathetic towards the storm of bullets flying past her. After all, she was not the target yet, and Kalastryn had said she was immortal. Which did not mean invincible, as she found out during the conversation. "Is telling me one of my friends has apparently switched sides against their will your idea of a sick joke?!" Kalastryn yelled at her.

"Well, it would be, but I don't know who your friends are, so I'm not yet able to make this as a joke. I just told the truth." Diana answered, the last word nearly getting drowned by Kalastryn's scream of pain, after Diana had observed a bullet going straight through her leg. She then observed the creation of a portal, to shoot the bullets back at the attackers, much to the amusement of Diana. She was not unfamiliar with this technique, even though she could not do it herself.

She stopped laughing immediately as she and Kalastryn were yanked back to the ground. Diana was used to hard landings, therefore she did not hurt herself too much, but it did not ease the humiliation. "Now that's just pure bullshit." she stated, after she had looked around. She eyeballed the cyber spider lady, apparently the commander of the forces. Keeping in mind that Diana still had chameleon-styled camouflage, there was not much to look at for the commander and her forces. At least they knew she was there, seeing the rings of psychic energy. They also were able to take glances if they looked really closely.

"Boys, boys...Settle down. Is that any way to treat our guests?..." the woman said with a french accent, one that the British Diana could not stand. "Don't go trying anything, Rising Dawn. We have you completely surrounded and I doubt that little Jennifer here would like to soil her new body before her first mission..."

"So is that your friend?" Diana sent a thought to Kalastryn. "She certainly looks messed up. I wanted to free her ... wasn't that successful." On the outside, the commanders teasing did not faze her at all.

"All weapons, on the ground. Think about trying anything..." the commander then said, and red points where clearly visible on Diana, making her camouflage all but pointless. She stopped it, making her seem like 'Jackson' again, only with wings.

"Welp, I'm not bulletproof. Any ideas?" Diana sent to Kalastryn, then spoke loudly, for the commander to hear. "Very well. You can take the weapons off my back. I surrender." She held her arms up and to the sides.
Explosions were audible in the background. Apparently the cavalry had finally arrived. Regardless, Diana ignored it for now. "Congratulations, you've won. Your accent is still horrible, though."

Anjali was eating her liver, occasionally listening in on the conversation and noticing people were talking about her. She smiled awkwardly at them, hoping it might not look too horrifying. She was eating fast, hoping to bring the meal to an end as quickly as possible. Before she could finish, the bartender looked over to her, smiled and called: [color=eca222]"You're welcome to join us, if you'd like."[/color]

"Umm ... I rather finish this meal first, then I'll come." Anjali answered, quickly picking up a piece of meat with her fork and stuffing it down. Eating felt weird - she could just swallow the food, without needing to chew, without being able to choke on it and having to cough. Inside of her, something seemed content. She herself tried to taste as little as possible. She thought it would make her sick, but then, she was not really able to get sick anymore.

As she had finished her meal, the ample-bosomed mother of Ruby spoke to her as well. "And to you who harbors spirits, please, don't be a stranger. Come closer and speak freely. You are among friends - for we are friends to all."

Anjali stood, wiped her mouth with a napkin, then walked over. "Thank you." she said. "Pleasure to meet you." She gave a small bow, as it was custom where she came from. "But ... why do you call me that? 'You who harbors spirits'? I know I'm undead, but ... spirits? Is this what I feel inside me?"

She held out her hand, feeling something move forward in her arm. "Do you know much about spirits? I don't really know anything ... about the body I now have."

Brainwashed Mob No. 1: Caim, Angelus

While the woman did have heart and passion, that only does so much against being set on fire, her clothing not really helping the situation as she was knocked back into a tent, screaming in pain as the fabric only added to the fuel cooking her flesh.
Needless to say, the woman was regretting going it solo against the dragoness though her minions were able to back her up, even as she burned to death.
Quickly she found them running towards her, acting FAR more violent and aggressive then before as they went into battle against her, pulling out blunt objects and blades against her while a few tried their luck with guns with Mixed results [http://i.imgur.com/AbT4Oar.gif].

Back with Caim, he watched the shocked expression on the man slowly disappear, namely because his skull had been cleaved in two from his attack, along with the rest of his body as Windsinger got stuck into the ground.
With him out of the way, he could finally get to the source of the brainwashing in this area: A turn-table spouting military chanting into the speakers.
And he might want to get a move on as well as his location was finally picked up by the local zombies as they rushed towards him.

Brainwashed Mob Civilian Location No 2.: Rugal, Elise

While Elise was finishing off one guard, she turned around and Rugal was already about to engage the other, seeming to-...merely walk towards him, not really trying to hide himself.
Once he had gotten the officer's attention, he didn't seem to flinch as he was told "GET ON THE GROUND! SO HELP MY GOD I'LL TEAR YOU A NEW ASSHOLE!".
Despite this, he kept on walking towards the officer, prompting him to pull out a HF Baton and fire it up.
"Right, you brought this on yourself, prick! Eat this!" He shouted before charging at the King of Fighters, right as Teri began to report in:
[color=0e59e4]"Hey Dad, it's me. Garm and I just cleared out one of the outposts - the civilians are free and currently getting their stuff back from a bad guy. Where to now?"[/color]

He paused before answering as the Officer made his play and-...Well, lets just say Rugal got the better end of that exchange. [http://cdn.myanimelist.net/s/common/uploaded_files/1449477489-758f6ee0985faeb5770e18686ae8166b.png]

Without so much as missing a pace, he then answered "I believe West said him and a few others were moving to the encampment. Regroup with them and I shall be around shortly."
[color=0e59e4]"Will do! I'll ring you again when I get there. I know you and Mum get a little paranoid."[/color]
"Copy that. Let West know you are en route. Take care now."
"....Attention everyone, don't be alarmed. You were just under the influence of a powerful psionic wavelength that took over your senses. It has passed now and you should evacuate the city, but know that it was the work of the man you know as Vincent Vega. I believe your former "Employer" should have the details should you press him for them..." He told everyone in the crowd as they began to descend around the former Foreman, keen for answers.

Mob Freed! 2 Remain!
With the deed done in this location, he then turned to Elise and added "Good work, keep it up and we might be able to quell this plot before the AO turns into a warzone...again..."
Rugal then began to make this way to the Capitol to regroup with the others.

"....Attention everyone, don't be alarmed. You were just under the influence of a powerful psionic wavelength that took over your senses. It has passed now and you should evacuate the city, but know that it was the work of the man you know as Vincent Vega. I believe your former "Employer" should have the details should you press him for them..."

Mio blinked. She had been quite confused about everything going on, and could barely see, so she had just followed the movements of the crowd she was in. Now her sight was clearing up and she looked around, pushing the people away that were moving towards a foreman. Mio had no interest in asking him about what was going on, especially because he already was about to get ripped to shreds. More interesting were her rescuers, the ones she heard fighting in incredible ways.

She stopped one of the civilians with her hand, turning him towards her. "Who were these guys?" she asked, and when he looked confused, added: "The ones rescuing us?" The civilian was slightly taken aback by her appearance. "I dunno, miss ... pirate." he said, as he spotted the silver skull on her shoulder and her eyepatch. "Maybe Rising Dawn?"

"What?" Mio asked back, confused. "Who are they?"
"Can't talk. Have to go. Wish you a good day." the civilian stated, disturbed, and vanished into the crowd before Mio could stop him. She sighed, then removed her eyepatch. She always had the illusion taking it off would help her to see better, even though it did nothing but make her look less like a pirate and more unsettling.

Moving into the opposite direction of the crowd, muttering "Gods. Fuck." and "You move like a pig!", while pushing people out of the way as much as it was possible for her, Mio finally spotted the shapes of Rugal and Elise walking towards a big building in the distance. The crowd was clearing, and she felt free again.

Sneaking was one of Mios many skills, but as it was daylight, it would not too hard to spot a person looking so much different than the rest of the civilians, following the members of the Rising Dawn. Still, she attempted to avoid being noticed, occasionally glancing into the distance and trying to make out what kind of building they were walking towards. She heard the sound of cannons as well, but was not concerned - her ship was safe ... somewhere.

"I need a drink." Mio muttered, feeling inside her pocket and taking out a flask of rum. Skillfully she popped it open, and swallowed deeply. "Ahhh ... ready to go on an adventure! ... I should probably stop talking so much to myself, people might think I'm crazy."

Denver Alleyway: Teri, Garm Vs Fulgore

Code:
[THREAT DETENTION IN PROCESS, RESUMING PATROL]
The Cyborg droned to it's cooperate master as it watched from a nearby rooftop as Dream and Kalastryn were both surrounded by the standing forces of the Capitol Compound, reactivating his camo before returning to it's pre-set path around the complex.
The weapon's interface was currently filled with countless camera feeds from all over the city, the perks of being employed by the contractor that put them all up in the first place.
It considered it's next course of action before a priority alert was sent to it, the details being a subject of interest being spotted in a nearby location, as well as the subject being a major source of a type of Holy energy, one that his employers were keen to get their hands on for some time.
The objective was added to his active processes and given priority, even more so then the current "Contract" with Bison.
Thus, the Fulgore mark IV began making it's way to it's target.

As she traveled over to the meeting point with Rugal, Teri and Garm began to make their way though a side alley to save some time.
[color=356D60]"So what's going to happen when we meet David again?"[/color]
[color=0E59e4]"Support, as usual. I hope nobody got too banged up while I wasn't around. Resetting bones and suturing is never pleasant..."[/color]
[color=356D60]"Then why do you keep doing it?"[/color]
[color=0E59e4]"We've been over this, because that's my job in our pack. I make sure nobody's hurt for too long."[/color]
[color=356D60]"Ah, so you lick the wounds! Well, with less li-....[/color]
His statement died in his throat as the wolf halted dead in it's tracks, sniffing at the air for a moment while he scanned the area, clearly a bit on edge.
[color=0E59e4]"...Garm, what's the matter?..."[/color]
[color=356D60]"...A strange scent, like one of the Pack's but-!!!"[/color]

Before the wolf could answer, he suddenly leapt back as the path before them exploded, as if something massive had just landed before them.
After a moment of shock while the dust settled, the outline of a figure began to slowly fade into existence as it robotically turned to face them.

And he did not look very happy to see them... [http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/killerinstinct/images/6/68/Fulgore_Revealed.PNG/revision/latest?cb=20131122123526]

Brainwashed Mob Civilian Location No. 4:Ton Ton, Cadolbolg

Ton Ton watched as his blade broke the final speaker, the effects being clearly felt as all the negative energy in the area began to evaporate.
The crowd began to slow for a moment, as if they realized what they were doing and were wondering why they were doing it.
There was a bit of unrest as everyone began to quickly climb off each other, wondering what the hell they were doing prior to this.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? CATCH THAT LITT-....oh-OH!.....SHIT! RUN!" One of the staffers said as he saw the writing on the wall, as well as the bloodlust starting to brew in the crowd once more as they realized they were being controlled this whole time, chasing after the staff in what was quickly becoming a recurring theme around the city.

"Brock, eat your heart out"
Sloth | Wrath | First Lieutenant Dolores | Nadalia | Eddie the Dead | Nina and Phillip
[hr]

While everyone was being complete badasses dispatching enemy after enemy, Nina had taken this opportunity to hide behind one of the several parked cars lining the streets. Now was this the safest of plans, probably not, but that didn't stop Nina from feeling better than standing out in the middle of no where. Looking through the windows of the cars, Nina was still able to see the goings on. At first she was relieved to see everyone seemingly handling Vega's men easily, but then her vision trailed to Eddie, who currently was still standing there having done nothing. Nina's cheeks puffed out in some contempt before letting out a big puff of air. "Suuuure... Serves me right for saying I'd take him to that stupid pastry shop, and he doesn't even need to do anything." She lamented, before turning her head to her duffle bag. She looked at it for a moment, then surveyed the area again, seeing Nadalia roasting one of the soldiers. "Toasty~" in a meme fashion. [https://youtu.be/MGwGKLNQkAE?t=11s] under her breath.

Even with Eddie being the closest to her, Nina was still fairly secluded behind the cars, so she stooped down with her back to the car bumper and set the duffle bag down gently, and after one last visual check unzipped the bag revealing Phillip inside. A tentacle from within would immediately come up and give her a light smack on the forehead, much akin to a facepalm. The hit wouldn't leave any lasting marks, but that wasn't the point as Nina looked unimpressed. "Ow, hey! You don't use your hands, [small]christ knows I deserve it a bit but,[/small] that's not nice! That was very rude, use your words instead." She lectured the tentacle monster, losing her train of thought slightly as more gunfire rang out, before said train leaped through the fog and grinded back onto the rails. "Apology accepted." She said as she looked back through the car's windows again to see how thing were going. "So whatcha think we should do? I- Oh that cute~" While surveying again, she's noticed in the back window a dancing mini Groot figurine staring back at her. The little adorable tree monster made a wonderful foreground shot as Nadalia made the last swordsman into a large assortment of innards confetti, dancing tirelessly amongst the carnage. Nina didn't have much more time to think on mini Groot's dancing skills when her attention was redirected back to Phillip. 'Cheeky little bugger...' She sighed, sitting back down to face Phillip who still wriggled in the open dufflebag.

"Fair point, but do you not see that big hole in that apartment there?! Words aren't gonna cut it this time..." She replied, both arms motioning to the apartment across from them that had been impacted by a missile at the start of the confrontation, a large flaming chunk of the building simply gone. While she was looking across the street, she noticed several chunks of the streets asphalt lying on the ground from the impact they'd made getting there, littering the area there. "Phillip, just um... Sit tight for a second." She said as she closed the duffel bag flap over Phillip, but not zipping it shut. She then picked up one of the smaller stones and looked for something to throw it at.

With Nadalina finishing the last of the people, the only remaining target at the time was the missiles seemingly floating in the air. "Hmmm... Rock! I choose you!" She exclaimed as she then throw the piece of asphalt she had towards the missiles to presumably take them out. Someone watching from the sidelines would clearly see Nina's throw was going to miss, but that didn't stop Nina from imagining musical accompaniment [https://youtu.be/_CTYymbbEL4?t=9m14s] to go with the rock as it tumbled in the air like a graceful gazelle. Not that the rock seemed to be required at this point as Nadalina's fire exploded the missiles just as the rock started its descent, launching it at great speed back towards Nina's direction! It bounced once on the ground before popping up into the air and smashing through the side and back window of the car Nina hid behind, thankfully missing her head even if she hadn't ducked for the explosion. "Holy shit!" She cursed, making sure both Phillip and herself were alright before checking to see the damage her rock had done to the missiles, which at first glance seemed to be a lot. "Rocks, are good against missiles... need to remember that one for later." She mused as her eyes slowly gravitated towards the now freed Groot figurine. "And don't think I didn't forget about you either~" She smiled as she plucked the Groot from the shattered glass, gave it to Phillip to hold onto in the bag, and if nothing else presented itself waited to see what everyone else was planning on doing.

Although Phillip's bag was still open, if anyone did start coming towards Nina, she'd be closing it before they got into view.

Capitol Building Compound: Kalastryn, Dream Vs. Jenny Feat. M. Bison

As Dream and Kalastryn laid down their weapons, the increasing amount of violence though-out the city was quickly starting to concern the standing forces as they realized they would have a battle on their hands.
It was then that a dark void began to open before them, a intense amount of dark power oozing from it as The man of the hour made his appearance [http://orig12.deviantart.net/ab10/f/2009/090/c/c/m_bison_redesign_by_tiobolasdoro.jpg].
[color=6c1504]"Well, Well, Well...Look what we have here...You may have your men stand down, Mistral. I don't believe that either of our guests will attempt anything untoward..."[/color] Bison said as he folded his arms, levitating over to the two as he sized them both up.
[color=6c1504]"....Hm....Not whom I was expecting, but Mishima Dogs all the same...Kazuya was wise to try and use your organisation to defeat me, but I am pleased to say that it is too late for that hapless spymaster to stop me now."[/color] He said before letting himself land on the ground, taking a moment to comb back his hair before pulling out his trademark hat.
[color=6c1504]"...Send out a bulletin over the airways. Inform our "Friends" that we have some of their ranks in our care and invite them to my Town Hall meeting. That should calm them down a little. As for you two, you shall follow. The hour of my victory is soon upon us. I'm certain your offspring will be keen to hear the legend of the "Pax Bisonica"..."[/color]
While he was attempting to put on an air of power, even Mistral was looking at him with a loathing expression, rolling her eyes as she had her soldiers stand down before making their way to the other combat zones in the city.
Jenny remained with them, acting as a personal escort for Bison as he lead Kalastryn and Dream though the base.

[color=6c1504]"Tell me, are you aware that Kazuya is merely using you as part of some scheme of revenge? Against me and my colleges? I saw the ruins of MIT, of Black Mesa. Civilian Battleground No. 5: Nadalia, Sloth, Wrath, Eddie, Nina/Philip
(Sorry in advance, I tried to get everything ^^;)

Wrath's Hammer echo'd though the entire block as it struck the armor of the GRAD Mech, leaving considerable dents in the metal as well as cleaving off one of it's main weapons.
Still, it would not be so simple as the machine revved up before quickly shifting gears into reverse, throwing her off with the change in momentum before it began to alter it's form, switching into Biped Mode [http://blogs-images.forbes.com/jasonevangelho/files/2012/12/Grad_gunshot_01_W.png].
Once the transformation was complete, a set of thrusters on it's back fired up before charging right back at her, the front plates becoming engulfed in a strong electrical charge[footnote]Unblockable attacks were a thing in Metal Gear Rising and were marked with a yellow glow so that's how I'd imagine they'd work[/footnote] as they were swung right at her skull.

Nadalia was able to quickly take down the Cyborg support unit with her superior skill and magic, the latter of which did a good job of mitigating the ranged offensive of the GRAD.
Before she could get too comfortable however, A Airborne drone [http://media.gamerevolution.com/images/misc/MetalGearRevengeance_Heli.jpg] quickly began to hover over the battleground to support the enemy's forces.
"ATTENTION RISING DAWN! WE HAVE DETAINED SEVERAL OF YOUR AGENTS! CEASE HOSTILITIES OR THEY WILL BE EXECUTED! YOU HAVE NOWHERE TO RUN! LAY DOWN YOUR ARMS AND GET ON THE GROUND!" It barked from a loudspeaker,
It was then that a large cloud of mist began to descend upon the area, namely around the GRAD unit, blue-ish in color as it seemed to be coming from a series of vents on the helicopter.
It was then that Nadalia felt a weak sensation that reminded her of the encounter at MIT against Dr. Cortex, when she was hit with that strange dart...
On top of that, re-enforcement were dropped from the helicopter, namely in the form of Two large armored Cyborgs [http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/metalgear/images/9/97/20130301163020_heavy_cyborg_01.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20130316013012] who seemed keen on cleaning house while the mist was active.

Capitol Building Compound: Main Gate: Dolores Vs. Mistral

Dolores was able to make quite the "Knock" on the front door of the compound, if it wasn't for the contracts dictating their actions, as well as the hard-coded overrides controlling their actions, a lot of the guards would be attempting to get out of dodge right about now.
That was except for a lone figure that seemed to be marching towards her from the fire and flames, looking none too fussed about the mess she was making.
Mistral had to admit, she was impressed with the level of firepower the Dawn was bringing to their "Peaceful Debate", if they kept this up, they might not be able to fulfill their side of the deal with Bison.
Either way, this line of thought was soon cut short by a large explosion near her position, prompting an optimal evasive action as she kept reappearing completely unharmed, each time marking her new position with a playful taunt.

"My, My. Such anger!"
"What is the matter, little girl?"
"Awww, so close."
"Oh! Burned a hair that time."

Each time she dodged, she closed the distance between her and Lieutenant, least until a series of throwing knives peppered her location, thrown to at her hands to more disarm and disorient rather then actually harm.
A loud THUD behind her rang out as Mistral landed behind her position, taking the time to dust herself off slightly before turning to face the woman, the close up giving Dolores a good idea of just What she was up against [http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/metalgear/images/a/a4/Mistral_6000x4000.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20130210065509].
"I do hope that's not the only trick you have, Rising Dawn..." She laughed before strutting over, keen to get as much enjoyment out of this distraction as possible.

...In many another circumstance, this information could have taken someone aback. The impact of being slammed into the ground would have been lessened perhaps, Kala having landed on her feet. Although, the impact had caused a bone fracture where her leg was shot. The natural reactions to such a thing didn't happen. There were no screams of pain as they were lead, limping through the base.

Diana's attempt to contact Kalastryn's mind was... less than successful. This isn't to say that Kala didn't "hear" Diana... but there was no reply. In fact, even trying to reach into her mind felt so very wrong. To visualize the state she was in, imagine if you will that in the middle of a lush forest, with unnaturally soft grass almost massaging the soles of your feet at every step, a waterfall ran into a clean natural pool. The sky would be cloudless, and the air clear. A vision of peace and serenity...

which no longer existed.

There was nothing... a cold and empty void lay in it's place. Yet in every inch of darkness, the overwhelming malice was palpable. It was simultaneously freezing, yet infernally hot, no space of comfort in between. The atmosphere was stale, and a musty odor of decay filled the air. There was but one thing on Kala's mind now, death.

Such was I suppose, the mind of evil. Most fitting, as there were quite a number of evil, uncensored thoughts rushing through Kala's mind. To capture Bison alive? That may have been her optimal goal at the start, but you see, that was the least of her desires now. He was a man willing to take an old friend of hers, change their body, and control them whereas Jenny would likely never have hurt her before.

"Heh... you know, I'm surprised your so naive. Your game of charades painting us red with a perceived evil was probably rather fun for you, the demon you are beneath that appearance of a man." Kala insulted him. She was beyond enraged, to the point where it had... broken? This was such a level of absolute rage that to lash out in anger was beneath them. "Let me tell you something... the end to this little charade. We were taking all of you in alive, Cortex, Wesker, Doom are alive and perfectly well. Well... perhaps less so for the latter. Kazuya did put a number of bullets in him... but he's tougher than he appears, and he's alive at least. Now, where oh where could Mishima be? In the same place, a hospital bed. We put him there, having had enough after he shot your friend. So go ahead and send out your invitation... when the cavalry arrives, I can say you'll fare far worse when they see your new bodyguard. If you have a god, I'd advise you to pray, because while we even defended your comrades from harm before, I don't care anymore. When, not if but when you die, I will personally raise your corpse and dismember you repeatedly until at last I'm satisfied...

"Huh... personally I've always shunned violence where it isn't entirely necessary... morality can go fuck itself, you made it personal. Have we been used? I don't care anymore. Tell you the truth, the whole hostage idea isn't going to work in your favor. Go ahead and kill me right now, unlike you I'll get back up."

At this, Kala took the opportunity to zombify herself, as her flesh almost seemed to rot on her bones."Don't mind me, only making things more comfortable. After all, dead men shouldn't speak to those still alive." She quipped, but making no more move to be aggressive... yet.

I... want...
The First Lieutenant

I jumped back when I felt the winds change. The air before became flooded with knives in the moment that I had left, and a new adversary. A ten armed woman landed in front of me wearing a confident smirk. Her mechanical arms flexed to show the smooth engineering beneath. They hugged her figure, framed her breasts, and teased her hips. I raised Bolverk at her and stared her down in sullen silence.

"I do hope that's not the only trick you have, Rising Dawn..." She approached.

She was too fast for Bolverk's time-delayed action and CQC was not an option with her many gyrating black arms. A sword user though, probably likes to play with her prey. I started to step backwards at the same pace she approached with Bolverk's metal frames guarding me.

"I use no tricks ~ da ze." I replied.

There was a pause as we squared off against one another. Her arms fingered both swords and knives. My own hands fluttered above Bolverk's triggers. She was fast. I was fast. I could tell that this would be a one-stroke battle. One of her hands ran sensually down between her thighs to retrieve another throwing knife, snaked across tight cloth of skin and... and...

The pain was so sharp that I actually cried out - a girlish scream that I would never have admitted to owning. I hated it. I hated it. I hated it. I dropped Bolverk and clutched my chest. There was no blood, no wound, no knife. Yet, it was as if I had been pierced by a sword. My stomach hurt and my heart was throbbing. What in the world is going on!?

a' mediara[footnote]I want.[/footnote]

,!ie sa' mediara ne da'ze!,[footnote]What do you want ~ da ze!?[/footnote]

a' ha mediara[footnote]I want her.[/footnote]

I caught two knives with the braced metal back on my gloves as Mistral threw them at me. She was smiling, apparently amused at my sudden pain. My head began to throb and my muscles were tensing involuntarily.

"T-traheo..." I muttered under my breath, "Ookami"

I visualized Ookami and reached for it across worlds. Then I pulled hard as the next set of knives came. The seven-foot nodachi slipped out of space as if it were water and fully materialized in my hand. The white steel clashed against the knives and devoured them, leaving gaping holes of gravitational abnormality between me and Mistral. Projectiles neutralized at the very least. Ookami howled and I let go of her so that she could return to her original owner. The power of that sword left my palm stinging.

"Traheo: Murakumo." Swords of deep black-red materialized in the space behind me and launched themselves at Mistral. Though they were slow, they were dense and unbreakable creations of exotic matter - drawn up from the depths of the realm between realms. Slowly eight sword-petals materialized behind me, and the familiar feel of the Murakumo once against pressed against my back. "Equip: Murakumo Unit... Complete. Install: Sword Summoner II complete." I jumped and felt the Murakumo catch me and suspend me in the air.

My eyes were as blue as the skies above, and so was my armor. Mistral grinned as I took flight. The pain was subsiding. Around me dozens upon dozens, and then hundreds upon hundreds of those black-red swords were born into the world. Let her come.

"Come!"

And the swords began to accelerate. My petals spread out behind me as if they were wings calling to the very sky to rain this metal death.

Deborah leaned forward. Her arms pressed her breasts together. "Well I know a little bit. About your current situation - I have to say that I do not know much. But I know a revenant when I see one." Deborah raised her hand and put it on Anjali's head and plucked a hair. She put it in that leather-bound tome she kept so close to her person. Deborah closed her eyes and hummed a little. "Anjali Khatri," she said the name as if she was tasting it. "Yes, you are harboring spirits. That much I can tell. In simple words, something is using your body and in doing so has granted you life again."

Civilian Location No. 6: Katya, ARES, Miia, Icarus, Selena, David West, Ryan, whoever else

Selena heard the cruel words Ryan viciously destroyed Miia's perceptions. Selena Grit her teeth and got up and approached the man just as he began to apologize unfortunately for him the damage was done.
"do you normnally like tearing women down or is it just on a bad day" she asked, however she didn't let him answer she just wanted him to look at her, She Slapped him across the Face, a red hand-print quickly formed on his cheek and he could feel it sting sharply.
"How, dare you," she said her voice trembled as did her hands And Gritting her teeth she continued to hit him. Not caring to Hear Any possible plea from Ryan.
Icarus got over his shock and got up And tried to be as gentle as he could in grabbing The Wrathful Witch's Wrist.
Selena, T-that's enough
"LET GO OF ME" She shouted and shoved him hard he stumbled and hit the floor of the truck bed hard. Icarus looked up at her Something in his eyes made her realize what she had done "I-I'm sorry, she immediately leaned over to help him up Icarus refused her hand and stood up by himself and then cocked his head Raising a finger to gesture 'Wait a minute'

You had just ONE job!
Katya Rostikova | ARES | Miia | (D)Ic(k)arus | David West | Ryan Wheatley
[hr]

Katya Rostikova rubbed her temples and slowly worked on ridding herself of the headache that the people surrounding her had caused. Seated on the side opposite of where the scene between Ryan, Miia and Selena was unfolding the normally boisterous young hacker remained quiet while the situation quickly devolved spectacularly. She was silent while the normally prim, proper and boisterous Miia demonstrated a vocabulary that suggested that "dahlink's" house was actually located in a truck stop that was located next to a naval base. She said not one word while Senor Douche-ador demonstrated his ultimate secret power of becoming a Level 5 Asshole at the drop of a dime. It was only after Selena the Pedophilic Witch slapped the Orange Masked Asshole in the face that Katya found herself in the very unusual position of being the room's sole voice of reason... though it wasn't for any important reason other than she didn't want to see Selena's Sizeable Sacks of Silicone teleported to the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

"That's E-FUCKING-NOUGH you three!" The very infrequent voice of reason said loudly, her voice boucing off the metal walls of the enclosed truck bed. Waiting for a moment for the three to actually settle down, Katya turned her head and eyed Ryan Wheatley, who held the title for second biggest asshole on the truck, and addressed him in an uncharacteristically serious tone, "Listen, Ryan. You might be right about Miia's'Dahlink.' He might just be the welcome mat for anyone with a nice set of knockers. He might not ever make her Harem Member #1 and she might never find love with him but it's definitely not your place to curb stomp her fucking dreams. It's definitely not your place to question her judgement on who she loves and it's most definitely not your place to tell her that her 'dahlink' only tolerates her because he pities her. So... Mister Wheatley... I suggest you calm the fuck down and shut the fuck up before you say something that gets Miia to squeeze you so hard that shit starts geysering out of the sockets where your eyes used to be."

With that said, the Rising Dawn's Resident Computer Support Technician turned an eye to Miia but said nothing. The girl had already had her brains kicked in the nuts a number of times that day and Katya had been one of the kickers. What needed to be said to Miia could be said later. The fact that Miia was no where close to ready for this sort of work, the fact that Miia was dumb enough to let someone decide for her that she would wear a Statue of Liberty Costume as a disguise and the fact that Miia usefulness was pretty much limited to the role of meat shield could be discussed at a later date and somewhere didn't involve being surrounded by a large regiment of armed military personnel. Instead, Katya just smiled at Miia before turning to Sabrina the Teenage Witch and her sidesick Salem (D)Ic(k)arus, who appeared to be in the middle of some sort of deep philosophical debate.

"I think something is going on. I can't quite hear it but I think they're trying to get us to surrender."

"AHEM!!!" Katya cleared her throat at Selena before starting her impromptu rant.

"As for you, funbags, if you want to make yourself useful, instead of getting all intertwined in someone else's relationship, why don't you keep your idiot boyfriend, Captain Thunderstruck, from revealing our position again? Last I heard we were supposed to get out of the building quietly. Last I heard we were going to perform this mission with a minimal amount of casualties. Last I head, Lightning kills and Thunder is fucking loud. So do us all a favor, Maria the Virgin Witch, give junior there a coloring book and keep him occupied. Kay Thanks. Oh and by the way... you are hearing them ask us to turn ourselves into little cheese eating surrender monkies but what you're not hearing is an underlying binary signal hidden in the transmission. It says: 'Truck #2077 has deviated off preplanned route. Eliminate all on board.'"

Note: Diablo has granted me permission to write this little scene. Enjoy

Combat Analyst Dane Cadwyn turned up the volume on his ear buds as he attempted to drown out the whining coming from the Sector 5 Analyst seated behind him. A rogue electrical spike had shorted out many of the CCTV surveillance cameras in Sector 5 and had allowed a Rising Dawn infiltration squad to escape. Re-acquisition of the enemy agents had been hampered by the fact that the assets in Sector 5 were comprised by flesh and blood personnel, at least that was Analyst Cadwyn's assessment of the matter. Had there been robotic assets with sufficient electrical shielding to withstand the rogue power spike, the outcome would have been far different and Combat Analyst Cray would not be on his way to an isolation cell for dereliction of his duties.

Combat Analyst Cadwyn's hazel eyes scanned Sector 6's four hundred and fifty CCTV surveillance streams, looking for any clues that would indicate that the enemy agents had entered his sector. As he did so, he ran his fingers over the pages of a technical manual that had been written in braille. While the man seated at the observation console was not blind, he had picked up the skill as a means of increasing his own job efficiency. Staying up to date on the latest upgrades for the newest model of ones field assets meant sinking a large amount of time reading technical manuals. If the combat analyst had been reading a printed text version of the technical document he had in front of him, it would have reduced the amount of time his eyes could be used to observe the happenings in Sector 6.

X209F Introduction said:
Thank you for choosing to deploy the X209 series of camouflaged infiltration and observation drones. As you will notice through the course of this technical document, the X209F is a marked improvement over its predecessors due to the integration of cutting edge technology. This allows the X209F to perform a wider array of missions that now include insurgency suppression, high value personnel neutralization and the elimination of-
An alert chimed softly in the combat analyst's ear alerting him to the fact that anomalous activities had been detected in Sector 6. Removing his hand from the technical manual, Analyst Cadwyn's fingers keyed in on the source of the alert: A License Plate reader installed on the West Side of Saint Joseph's Hospital on Downing Street. Reviewing the log, the man noticed that a truck had deviated from its preassigned route and was currently traveling towards the capitol building. Keying in on another screen, the combat analyst focused a CCTV camera on the driver of the truck.

"Identify," The man at the console muttered to the console, issuing the command to use his facial recognition software to compare the face of the driver to the face of known Rising Dawn personnel.

Leaning back in his chair, he brought up a well manicured hand to rub the minimal stubble that had grown on his chin in the few hours since he'd last shaved. Dane smiled slightly at the realization that he was going to be able to mobilize the defensive assets he had deployed on the field. This engagement would also allow the analyst measure the combat effectiveness of the newly appropriated X209F drones. If they succeeded in eliminating the interlopers, there was a high probability that Combat Analyst Cadwyn would be order more of his beloved machines. Tapping and swiping through a series of command lists, the Combat Analyst initiated a connection with his assets.

"Sir!" Analyst Cadwyn called out to his superior, "Enemy detected in Sector 6. Permission to mobilize assets for threat elimination!"

"Permission granted!"

The man's smile intensified as he directed to all his drone units to move in on the commandeered truck. As he waited for the first unit to intercept the Rising Dawn crew members,

Noticing that a group of X209F drones had closed in on the Rising Dawn commandeered truck, the Analyst stopped reading and focused on observing the encounter. Zooming in on Unit #0023, the man was amazed at the fact that he truly would not have been able to tell the different between one of these drones and a human being were it not for the fact that Unit #0023 was running at 45 miles per hour. The female type, who appeared to have come from a pool party given her state of dress, leaped into the air and deploying a pair of scythes that had been hidden in her forearms. The gleaming blades sliced through the air before punching a hole in the thin metal side of the enclosed truck bed. Using one of the blades as an anchor, Unit #0023 started to slice through the walls of the truck bed.

Close Comabt Weapons Specifications said:
The enhancements to both the X209F's chassis and power plant have made it possible for the developers to include option weapons packages. Due to the minimal amount of armor that can be installed on its chassis, the X209F has been programmed to prioritize close combat strategies. Simple in design, the scythe shaped blades hidden in the unit's forearms are able to slice through body armor with ease. Due to the blade's variable positioning, the combat scythes can be used as hooks, allowing the X209F to climb any surface.
Unit #0023 was on the move as one of the truck's occupants blindly fired .45 caliber bullets through the side of the truck. While the unit had enough armor to sustain multiple direct hits from a handgun of that caliber, #0023 determined that the best means of neutralizing the attacker would be to enter the enclosed truck bed through the roof. Leaning to the right, Unit #0023 narrowly avoided a direct hit to her chassis before her head suffered a direct hit, destroying the critical components housed within. The unit's body went limp as she continued to hang onto the side of the truck.

Another X209F, #0065, positioned itself ahead of the rogue truck with an integrated sub machine gun pointed at the driver's cab. Taking aim, the unit pulled the trigger and sent a barrage of lead into the driver's seat and causing the driver, David West, to swerve. Whether it was through dumb luck or skill, the vehicle plowed directly into Unit #0065.

Glancing over at the status board, the Combat Analyst could see that #0065 was still active, though its legs had been severely damaged by the impact. While it might have been cause for concern on the older models, the bald analyst watched as #0065 hauled itself from under the undercarriage of the fast moving vehicle and climbed up to where the dangling remains of #0023. All it took was a simple twist to remove the damaged head of Unit #0023 and another twist to install #0065's undamaged head. Now in control of a new body, #0065 climbed on top of the truck and started slicing through the rood as the remaining 15 units closed in on the scene.

There are now 15 X209Fs inbound on the truck. I leave it at your discretion as to how they look (Gender, Ethnicity, Dress, Age) as well as how you'd like to dispose of them. Please note that of the 15, 7 shall be using melee weapons of varied design and 7 shall be using projectile weapons and 1 will be a special type.

Short List of Abilities:
Modular Design: The units can only be killed if shot in the head. Otherwise they can replace their damaged parts with the undamaged parts from down units. This can lead to some weird stuff happening. For instance #0065 is a male type whose head is currently installed on #0023 body (a female type wearing a bikini).

Shielding from Electrical and EMP attacks: Can't short them out.

Enhanced Speed: Top running speed 60 mph.

Enhanced Reflexes: Not bullet slicing... but it can react pretty quickly to physical attacks.

Enhanced Strength: It can rip the doors off a car.

Enhanced Agility: One of them actually got a Gold Medal in the Olympics.

HAVE FUN!

Ruby and the Kitten...
Ruby Babbage-Lovelace | Anjali Khatri | Deborah Cerulean | Farber the Ish | Luke | Violet
[hr]

The young girl in the bright pink and frilly dress had remained largely silent during the conversation between her mother and the undead amazonian. While she did a fundamental understanding of the concepts being discussed, it thought of multiple spirits inhabiting a single body was a bit much for Ruby's mind to digest. Was it cramped inside of Miss Anjali's body? Were the spirits inside of Miss Anjali's body smaller than a regular soul? If these spirits were smaller, just how small were they... in fact how big was a soul in the first place?

"Yes, you are harboring spirits. That much I can tell. In simple words, something is using your body and in doing so has granted you life again." Ruby's Mother's words made the young child excited with the possibilities.

"Mommy? If Miss Anjali has many spirits inside of her and they brought her back to life, does that mean that we could move one of those spirits into another body to bring it back to life?" Ruby in a rather shy manner as if not wanting to offend, "Like... Mags... maybe?"

Ruby looked away from both her mother and Miss Anjali awkwardly as a sense of guilt decided to seat itself on the young girl's shoulder. Mags, short for Margaret, was a stray kitten that Ruby had been in the habit of caring for during her frequent trips to the neighborhood park. It was during one of these trips that the young girl who had just started studying the magical arts had decided that Mags would look much more pretty with a bow around her neck. As Ruby shaped a small ribbon into the bow, a group of children who frequently enjoyed teasing the 6 year old girl arrived on the scene. Seeing that this kitten was important to Ruby, the children snatched up Mags and began tossing the frightened animal between themselves as Ruby chased them around. It had been an accident the other children claimed but one of the tosses had been too high and the ribbon that the Magical Child had lovingly crafted for the kitten was caught on a branch. Ruby could only watch helplessly as the kitten kicks became more and more feeble... until they stopped altogether.

[hr]

Part of David was tempted to throw the lot of them out of this borrowed truck, namely the part of him that was wondering how exactly he went from sniping IEDs on side-roads in Iraq to being the driver this gang of teens needed but not the one they deserved.
Katya was showing off her "Social Graces" as she almost did more yelling then anyone else, sounding like a scorned mother while he played the part of the silent yet resentful dad.
That was until something she said managed to get though his silent vigil, namely the mention of how the truck they were driving was due to be "Eliminated".
"...So doesn't that just mean they are going to be sending more of the same then?..." He piped up, right before he realized how wrong he was.

The sound of tearing metal was deafening as David glanced back to see metal blades tearing it apart connected to what appeared to be a woman.
This was then followed by the sound of gunshots as another appeared on the road in front of him, peppering the cab with machine gun bullets.
Ducking under the dashboard as the windscreen was shot out, David did his best to keep them on the road, having to peer up slightly and risking getting his brains shot out in order to do so.
He watched as the body of Unit #0065 impacted against the grill, sparking and hissing before seemingly getting crushed underneath their 4 wheeled deathtrap.
"...Alright! I don't mean to alarm you all but I believe they have actually have sent Terminators after us! Do whatever you may with that information and hold on! I know it's a cliche but this ride WILL get bumpy..." He warned to his allies as he realized now might be a good time to put on his seat belt.

The next item on the agenda came up rather quickly alongside them in the form of a Semi Truck [http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Dq7cMZ6--Gw/UUk0yCN7n7I/AAAAAAAAHkk/6HWbQ6yxj7I/s1600/vlcsnap-2013-03-18-20h35m23s52.jpg] being driven by a police officer and a biker with a shotgun pulling up alongside them.
"...There is no way my luck is that bad..." he weakly stated before the biker went to fire his shotgun-
"Oh hell no-",
...only to find himself quick-draw'd by the Irishman's magnum while his partner began ramming their truck.
"OKAY! MAYBE IT IS! FUCKING HELL!" He cursed as he attempted to land a shot on the driver, blowing off part of it's shoulder but doing little damage otherwise.
Opting for a more indirect approach, he elbowed what was left of the driver side window before leaning out to take out the front tire, causing the other truck to loose speed before spinning out and crashing.
"...Fun Fact! I had a nightmare like this once!"

Brainwashed Mob Civilian Location No 2.: Rugal, Elise, Mio

Rugal was about to go on ahead before Elise brought Mio to his attention, a random figure in the crowd who seemed to be ready for "Adventure" but outside of that, he knew little else.
"Now what brings an exquisite woman like yourself to pursue me and my coworker? What are your intentions, I wonder~"
"Elise, I would rather if you didn't solicit company at this time. We have much to do and, outside of slowing us down, I don't see how this one is going to provide much to those efforts...no offense." He pointed out, while he was used to the Rising Dawn's ever changing roster, he wasn't in the mood to play "Meet and Greet" if Mio was trying to tag along.
"Now, can we please be on our way? I'd rather not keep my daughter waiting..."

There should be more here but there isn't ^^;

Capitol Building Compound: Main Gate: Dolores Vs. Mistral

"Hm...If you insist, Chienne..." Mistral calmly said as she watched the storm of blades rushing towards her.
Bringing up her polearm over her head, she allowed the robotic hands on her back to quickly spin it as a form of umbrella, deflecting and casting aside whatever blades tried to hit her.
As this was going on, she once again used her in-human speed to close the gap again with her prey, once she was close enough, she took back her weapon from her augments before making her move.
Her weapon, which in reality was comprised of several cybernetic arms, showed great flexibility as it coiled around Dolores's leg and thigh like a snake, quickly constricting around it.
