Granted, Zero Punctuation isn't the first show ever to feature amusing visual gags voiced-over with comedic commentary but you have to admit that it is one of(though I can't think of any other examples) the best examples of this format. It has a stylish sort of charm other offerings just seem to lack. I'm not saying no one should be allowed to make slide shows anymore, I'm just saying it's hard to enjoy them after being spoiled by possibly the best of these types of shows to date. To me, having two slide-style humor review shows in the same place draws an inevitable comparison.Allan Foe said:You do realize that video of people ranting over a slide show existed long before Yahtzee came to youtube, furthermore ZP is more of a puppet theater than a slide show so how are they similar?
I'm so taffing sick of fanboys shouting "WTF Yahtzee copycat!" at every slide show accompanied rant. I'm a seasoned fan of Yahtzee myself but this kind of fanboyism is unsightly and annoying.
Oh, gods yes! When I found out about this port it allowed me to put off my inevitable next-gen purchase for another 6+ months as well as completely removed my indecisiveness over picking the PS3 rather than the 360(Now that BioShock's on the PS3, too). I would hate for the game to be dumbed down, simplified, or in any way made 'more accessable' to the alleged Wii audience.KyleGamgee said:My only beef (possible complaint) with the Wii port of Dead Rising is if they dumb down the difficulty. "I beat Dead Rising" should always be challenged with "Which one?" -that is, if it's much easier on the Wii.
Yahtzee isn't a prick; he enjoys games but his videos are most liked when they're negative towards the game. That all being said, I hate Yahtzee; his comedy is stale and his critisisms are all wrong.PedroSteckecilo said:Sounds like someone else we all wait around for on Wednesdays... except I don't think there's anyone with the illusion that Yahtzee ISN'T a prick.Indigo_Dingo said:Who wouldn't?Spinwhiz said:I liked chasing Russ around with a chainsaw
I'd be more inclined to like Moviebob if he ever made contact with us as a user, and didn't try to remain aloof. Nobody can really do that without coming off as a prick.

Y'know, you're entirely correct about that. Hi there
Just remember, when people innevitably get sick of me hanging around, you had to ask
Agreed, however I would have expected more of them this time around.Allan Foe said:You do realize that video of people ranting over a slide show existed long before Yahtzee came to youtube, furthermore ZP is more of a puppet theater than a slide show so how are they similar?Podunk said:it just isn't possible for me to shake the suspicion that the presentation is trying to ape Yahtzee's image-dependent delivery but without any of the stylish flair. (I realize I'm totally asking for it if it happens that this fellow's been doing his thing since before Benjamin Yahtzee Godzilla Croshaw, but I'm willing to take that gamble.)

Kill Hannah Montana with swords, guns, and lawnmowers? I'd buy it. As to Dead Rising on the Wii, now that it looks like they axed the story, reduced zombie count and detail, and basically made it infinity mode only, they've killed most of the tension. The story may have been retarded, but saving survivors and going between storypoints gave the game a je nais se quoi (spelling?) it looks like the Wii version will lack.Gothicwitch said:- Dead Rising was a fun game, although rather flawed in many aspects. Now they are trying to cash in on the Wii crowd? Pathetic. I bet if you put Hanna Montana in place of all the zombies it'd sell ten times better.
aww i liked the story lol XD i thought it was different and entertaining and lets face it most games aren't at the moment.GyroCaptain said:Kill Hannah Montana with swords, guns, and lawnmowers?
