There is, but please don't mention that travesty.ahlycks said:thers chrono cross....ZhaneEndrick said:They mentioned this a few years ago too. I love the series, but I'd be okay with this. I'd be even MORE okay with it if they put all that energy into a new Chrono Trigger.
Chrono Trigger is basically an unnumbered final fantasy.ZhaneEndrick said:They mentioned this a few years ago too. I love the series, but I'd be okay with this. I'd be even MORE okay with it if they put all that energy into a new Chrono Trigger.
That'd probably, uh, time to change the naming scheme at least. But 20 years is way too optimistic prediction of the release schedule. Over 15 new FFs will take at least 30 years, but it could be easily 45 or more.3nimac said:Maybe its better to stop. Imagine if in 20 years we had Final Fantasy XXX. That might be a better number to stop at. Or maybe not after all...
End with it? The story in CC made no sense from the begnning. And this is coming from someone who didn't find Xenogears too convoluted (I was trained by NGE). Well, to be fair I did play Xenogears a much later, but a convoluted plot was hardly CC's only fatal flaw.Gindil said:F9^%ing Finally!
It's not that I believe the FF series is cliche since they've brought on so much in the RPG genre, but I believe they should have developed the Vagrant Story series as well as the Parasite Eve series just to name a few of their successes.
And for God's sake, is it so hard to get a decent Chrono Trigger sequel that DOESN'T end with a convoluted plot?
you are a filthy liar that didn't play XII hard enough. lol, I kid but i still disagree stronglyD-Mic said:Even though the last few FF games haven't been too great, this makes me incredibly sad.
LOL, good point, but I really don't know how futuristic X really was. Technology was outlawed. Not to mention that VI, the last SNES one, was the one that started the more technological worlds.zeldakong64 said:first on PS2 was futuristic, second was odd, third was medieval
XIV was already announced, but its just another MMO. I will probably be more than a year out though. And with the recent time lag between them, a potential XV would be at least 3 or 4 years out.magnuslion said:hmmmm. they must have stock piled the cocaine buckets or something. I give this a year before another one is made, tops.
