First game? Most likely a 'Jump Start' game or Putt-Putt goes to the Moon.

First legit game? Super Mario Land or Bomberman Pocket

Zork. Still one of the best games I've played too...I guess because it was challenging and the graphics never age, hahaha.

PC. I was fairly young. The ORIGINAL Dungeon Keeper. Ever seen a small legion of hellish creatures or a team of self-righteous human plunderers get squashed by a single rampaging boulder? It's VERY fun to watch.

M.U.L.E. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.U.L.E.] on my C64 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_64] which I still own and have continued playing as recently as 3 years ago before I discovered the fantastic community at Planet M.U.L.E. [http://www.planetmule.com/].

Hammurabi for the TRS-80. That was the start of it for me and I still remember it fondly.

My first computer game? If you mean the first one I owned, it was Battle for Middle Earth. If you mean actually played, it was probably some kind of Reader Rabbit or similar educational game. Or maybe MS Paint.

When I was in about 2nd grade I started being allowed to play "educational" games in what passed for a computer lab back in 1990. So my first game was "Yacht" on an Apple IIe. You had to type compass directions and distances to navigate your yacht around a racetrack from a bird's eye view. More advanced game modes had you factoring in wind direction and avoiding more complex obstacles.

By the time I got to 4th grade we had computers at school capable of playing Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?
I don't think I used my first home PC until 1994. I remember playing Solitaire and Minesweeper, as well as the Naval combat simulator Harpoon 2. Later, I played rebel Assault 2 (my first rail-shooter) and The Dig (my first point and click adventure game).

I don't exactly remember the name (can someone help me) but it came in this collection of other computer programs (games and educational stuff) I believe the pack was released as a bonus for Windows 95, comes with 4 discs, and the game I remember was called Pocket and Tails, or Pocket Tales, I hardly remember the name but the two characters were kangaroos and wore blue and red overalls. Anyone remember this game?
