For PC I think it'd have to be Red Alert 2. I still compare all RTS campaigns to that bar....and they invariable fall short. Exceping Homeworld.

Age of Empires 1 and "helping" my dad play Myst.

Also, Duke Nukem III when it was on DOS. God I played the shit out of that game.

Pitfall on a friend's PC (although there it was called Tarzan).
On my own PC, the first game I played was FX Fighter...

For me it was "the incredible machine". A kind of puzzle game where you could build hilarious contraptions and the like or solve puzzles. I put sooo many hours of my life into it, I really should try to find it or some other game like it again.
That was incredible, I remember that.
I second both the feeling that it was incredible, and that it was my first good game.

Myst and Riven. I literally played them on my dad's knee. (Gaming runs in the family.)

Exile: Escape from the Pit
Flashback: Quest for Identity.

Fuck. I feel old.
Ninja'd on the Exile games! Still prefer Exile to the remakes they released even if the made 6 games in the series.
