Darkened skye, just for the fact that the magical power up in the game were literally skittles.

Spider-Man 3, for the wii. The controls sucked ass, and it was glitched up the rear. Example:

My mission was to take explosives to a designated drop point to prevent criminals from using them. I take them to the drop point and-

MISSION FAILED.

WHAT!!!!

and the guy I delivered explosives to still thanks me. What the fuck?

I do remember one thing;

It was a 360 game called "Infernal: Hell's Vengeance." The game itself was slightly tolerable, but the controls were so ungodly broken that it just ruined the game. But hey, at least there wasn't a lot to ruin.

Either Halo or Dragon Age. Dragon Age because of how bland and boring it was. Even the combat was putting me to sleep. Halo was decent, but because of the Library level it holds the title of the only game that has ever made me say "this is stupid", quit playing, and never went back. In terms of glitchiness, then Call of Duty: United Offensive.

Cliver Barker's Jericho. It's a textbook example of how to not design a game. And before anybody gets any ideas, I bought the game knowing how shitty it would be, but I had thought I would get some amusement from writing a review. Sadly, that didn't happen...
I'll actually defend this one, largely because it has redeeming merits in some incredibly good writing, and the ideas at play were not bad, they just lacked on the implementation. I think the problem with the gameplay was that they were testing out an idea to sell cheat codes, where you needed a number from your disc that you would use when you paid in order
to have a unique code created to unlock the cheats. If you play the game "straight" without playing into the money making gimmick at least part way, your asking for trouble, though admittedly there are ways to get 4 of them (I think) for free, and they should still be on the gamefaqs forum.

At any rate Jericho is one of the few shooters I ever noticed getting an RP board on Gamefaqs (even if it later closed). Even now there is a dedicated fan community that wants a sequel given how it ended on a cliffhanger.

It's not a good game I suppose, but not one I think can be fairly called among the worst of all time. Being very weak in some areas, and very strong in othrs, with a small but dedicated fanbase holding out beyond all apparent hope, I think it pretty much fits the definition of "cult classic".

The worst, Eve Of Extinction, genuinely putrid, Spiderman/X-men Vs Arcade (some title like that), it wasn't horridly bad, just frustrating...that and when you stack it next to X-Men 2: Clone Wars (or the original), it's just not the same, then the last would be Archon Classic, it's a bland remake of a old 80's action game, they had the brilliant idea of letting you play the full version for 20 minutes a day as the demo (albeit I could understand why something like that isn't used more), except the only way it could work for them is if they capped it off at three, the AI is bad, the presentation is just ugly (even by indie game standards it's ugly), it's only selling point is that it's 4.99 on steam, so you won't feel all that bad if you buy it.

I could never understand the hate surrounding that game, tons of people hate it and after playing both it and the original (Good not awesome), and I can't say I see the problem

Two Worlds on the 360. Sloppiest and most poorly coded game I have ever played on a console. That kind of craptastic effort should never have even been put forth. It's like they didn't try. I hear the PC version is actually decent but I've never played it. Two Worlds II looks awesome though!
Lol, just got off of playing this 5 minutes ago. It really is a failed game, it's a huge world but ultimately they fail in so many things in it that it never really amounts to anything. The voice acting sucks, and they apparently hired over 200(!) people for voices. The combat is sooo bland, whether on the hardest difficulty or the easiest, combat is just so basic and uninspired, and a magic jump back button to make all melee enemies meaningless is moronic. Also I suspect they couldn't find many female voice actors, as I've seen over 100 male and less than 10 female NPCs thus far. Also, I concur, the second installment looks to be much better.

I can't call to mind something I'd call the worst game ever, probably because most things I consider 'unplayable' and thus 'unplayably bad' get put back in seconds.

Dragon Age on the 360. Compare to the PC version (I got a chance to play it on a good PC), the quality of the 360 version is like rubbing a mixture of dirt, salt, lemon juice, liquefied habanero pepper and AIDS-infested spunk in my eyes.

I find it rather amusing how people are listing games like Call of Duty, Kane & Lynch, or even Haze as the worst games they've every played.

Something tells me they've never had the misfortune of being subjected to this horrid abomination of a game:
It pains me to even think about what I could have done during the time I wasted playing this festering and repulsive piece of crap.
