Aeris' death, I was like 11, it was 2 am I spent 9 hours getting to that point. Totally uncontrolled crying. Lame.

MGS4 When
When snake puts the gun into his mouth and closes his eyes... Then the total douchebaggery that he couldnt do it snapped me right out.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time

I felt empty (not because it was bad, because it was over) when I finished that game.

EDIT: I was recently letting a few of my mates borrow some games, this included about 5 PS3 games, and Star Ocean (PS2) to different people. I almost forgot I had lent some of the PS3 games to people but I'm dying to get Star Ocean back, he hasn't finished it. Why must I treasure it so? (don't answer that)

I was 11 when I first beat Ocarina of Time, and the ending was so bittersweet that it made me tear up.

Chrono Trigger had me when the story really started to mesh together. Silent Hill 2 had it's moments, as did Mass Effect.

The one game however, above all the others to keep me playing because I did not want to break the flow of the narrative-

Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne

I'd say MGS3
when Big Boss gets used by eva...man i felt for him...the whole killing of The Boss was really well done as well. Not so emotional but good all the same

The Darkness when you know what happens.(if you dont please go play that game.)
And the "stories" in Lost Odyssey were really really well done.

I think the endings of each were pretty powerfull
... Do not get me started on the ending of HL2:EP2. I... *twitch* am still recovering.

Agreed on HL2 ep 2.

Fallout 3 had its moments... finding the dead family in the sewer pipe :(
As well as that sad broadcast.
Yeah the voice acting was surprisingly good on that transmission... I was so bummed when I finally tracked the location down!

Mass Effect (not the dirty way) and Fallout 3. They had very heavy moral choices which made me feel good when in both games I could never and to this day be evil.

Probably Shadow of the Colossus, Half-Life 2 Eps2 and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. SotC made me feel like no other game could, while Eps2 and PoP SoT make me choke up at the death scenes.

The Path. Seriously, I've been playing it yesterday and today, and...wow. Seriously, you don't feel anything for the first hour or so, but then you begin to feel more and more disturbed by what you see and, more often, what's implied.

Also, I feel I have to mention Mass Effect. Virmire, a bit, but more
Fai Dan's, and then later Saren's, suicide
.
