I think you got "hipsters" confused with nostalgia, because hipsters are people who refuse and hates anything that is considered mainstream and/or popular. Usually hates it solely for that reason, not always though, but is the dominating factor.BanthaFodder said:gaming hipsters ("Pokemon Black and White? no, I mean hipsters. as in, "everyone's walking around with DSes nowadays, I'll come in with my eye-strain-o-riffic gameboy classic and a copy of Red, just to shw em how OLDSCHOOL I am."TerranReaper said:I think you got "hipsters" confused with nostalgia, because hipsters are people who refuse and hates anything that is considered mainstream and/or popular. They are okay up until they jump the shark. Supernatural season 6.... :< They shouldn't go beyond a planned out storyline. I'm pretty sure Mass Effect is intended to be a trilogy while Dragon Age seems like they are making it up as they go along. It definately shows.Mallefunction said:Sequels.
As much as I loved my games, I feel that the creators should try their best to wrap it up in one story rather than extend it out, milking the cash cow for as much as they can. Sequels keep new ideas from emerging and games become more about franchises than anything else.
