I think the Wii's okay as it is. I don't use online stuff that much and the graphics don't bother me.
And if I get the urge to start chopping limbs off, I have a PS3.

A way more sensitive controller, with way more details, and ofcoures games using that. I want my perfect lightsaber battle game! Just imagine people, IMAGINE!

But the Wii is perfect for chopping off limbs, just look at what I wrote above this. It can be so awesome...*sighs*

Better third party support. The first-party games are generally great, but I'm not that interested in 'My Little Pony: Raise your own horse', and similar trash. The third party developers deserve to get a kick in the groin.

The Outright Elimination of Friend Codes.
A Hard Drive, to support Downloadable Content.
A better GPU and CPU.
1:1 Motion supported out of the box.
Better Third Party Support.

I think that's all.

Friend Codes that don't take a year to enter
Or better yet:
No Friend Codes at all.. Like the rest of the Consoles.

HD games and at least Dolby 5.1 in games. My god, even PS2 had proper sounding games.
You realise a better output would just make games look worse save for the ones where the developers put some real effort in?

Less gimmicky controls
It's hardly a gimmick when it was the centrepiece of the console, was it? If anything the SIXAXIS is more of a gimmick.

Judging by the level of maturity shown in your post you will be unable to buy said games.
What? Is it really that much to ask of Wii Game Developers for me to be able to enjoy anyway half decent games that are not platform Mario games designed for children? I think it is an inescapable conclusion that there are very few games that are available for the Wii that show any intent to appeal to a older audience (apart from MadWorld, admittedly). I used to be a nintendo fan boy, but I grew tired of the mario/link monopoly that nintendo extends over the Wii. Is it entirely unreasonable for me to wish for a Wii 2 that has a number of more "serious" games to play?

It's just that I've done the mariokart bit for the last 20 years and surprisingly going around rainbow road with Luigi and the crew shouting WaHOO! every 5 seconds has started to grate on me. Call me cynical or whatever.

So yeah, I would like to buy a Nintendo product that isn't absolutely devoid of any sense of gravitas. The sense of nostalgia is now sickeningly saccharine and I would like to wish possibly, just possibly for a new experience from Nintendo. But yeah what do I know I'm an eleven year old kid or something apparently.

P.S. The answer to this post btw isn't "don't buy a Wii then". I want a Wii 2 that is better.
MadWorld, House of The Dead: Overkill, Red Steel, Obscure (garbage, but it's still not a title for children), Manhunt 2 (same thing), Resident Evil 4 Wii, and No More Heroes off the top of my head, and up and coming would be:

-The Conduit
-The Grinder
-Gladiator A.D.
-Dead Space Extraction
-Untitled Bethesda game
-Resident Evil: darkside Chronicles
-Spyborgs
-Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings
-Muramasa: The Demon Blade
-No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle
-Tact of magic (as far as I've been told)

It's a bit silly to say that developers aren't striving to cater for an older audience, the growth of teen to mature games has obviously been slower than the other two consoles, but it's there. It's just that Nintendo as a first party aren't, and as far as I can remember they never have. Perhaps it will change at E3, perhaps it won't, we shall see.

All the adult games available for Wii are Multiplatform games, so in which case Il'd rather play COD:WOW on my PS3, rather than some terrible Wii remote that's akin to playing the FPS on your TV remote.

For Nintendo to abandon the Wii and to either make a console from the good old day's of the 64 and gamecube or just to make games for other consoles.

Personally I want it to come with a flaggon of rum, and a stairway to Valhalla.

In short you were unable to come up with a witty reply and have used the ineffective technique of trying to bury this fact with a large amount of text.

As much as I hate the wii, he's actually got some valid points.

I'm not trying to be witty. I'm really not a funny person. I'm replying to and clarifying my post, which is a reply to the OP. Go write a webcomic you funny funny man.

Even then I would be wary of buying it... Oooor I would sell it and keep the rum and Valhalla for myself.

Gee, I want a Wii that will have more than 3 games that are worth buying and aren't ports.

I would also like graphics that are on par with the Wii 2's competitors.

Games that utilize motion sensing in a realistic way would be nice, rather than "shake the wiimote to swing a sword!"
