Am I the only one to cry at the sight of Deathclaws? I'm at level 10 right now... and... woah. They kill me in three hits before I have time to get out my Hunting Rifle.
My freind said they were quite slow. Take a leg and you could do laps around it lol.
Unfortunately I'm too scared to take off my Tesla Power Armor that makes me so slow, it just looks so badass! Guess I'll have to wait to chance upon another Fat Man or Laser Minigun.
Speed > Armor.

Any time, any where...

By the way if you play your perks right, after level ten you're almost invincible. I'm at level 14 and seriously, you'd have to bring a nuke, a grinder and put me into a starvation diet because you could actually do some damage against me.
Brotherhood power armor gives +2 strength so SOMETIMES armor is better then speed.(And that strength is most useful with the ripper.)

Also I bet I could use one nuke if I played it right. Bloody Mess+Physco+Yao Guai Meat+Med-X+Jet+Mentats+Buffout+Critical Hit..+Better Critical Hit perk.

And I'm trying to make my character into a slippery weasel. He has terrible Karma, killed the Sheriff of Megaton for his hat and blew the city up anyway. My speech points are through the roof, same with sneak. Then I found out my armor decreased my sneak skill and made me useless in combat. Oh well.

I find a rain coated, hooded, grim looking marksman to be hell of a lot more badass than some douche clone soldier protected with tin from head to foot.
Yeah? Well... you smell. Enguard, good sir!

Really? I'm having no trouble playing as a charismatic thief, I can usually talk my way out of a conflict, and if I can't, I am usually able to either slip away or take out my hunting rifle and blow some heads off

I'm just glad you're not forced to do all the little dinky sidequests during other larger quests.

like, when you go to Paradise Falls to save some kids, and the guard tells you to go catch some slaves and he'll let you in.

I promptly said "fuck you" and blew his head off, followed swiftly by the rest of the town.

Oh, if you're trying to collect all of the Bobbleheads, the one in Raven Rock is missable if you go too far through it.

Don't leave level 2 without it.

Vault Loyalty Inspector. Decided instead to tag Melee Weapons, only to mostly use Small Guns most of the time.

Damn...

I went pretty solidly melee through 90% of the game

right near the end I just got so bored with hacking away at super mutants endlessly , I specced up my small guns over the course of a couple levels and started getting BOOM HEADSHOTS again.

I got pip-boy programmer as well - especially loved the reaction of the teacher to my 'fantastic! just what I've always wanted to be' response.

Enough about the rail-gun though, has anyone got the nuka-cola launcher? I'm really regretting flogging nuka-quantum every time I found it...

I'm having problems creating the rail spike rifle, can anyone tell me where the heck can you get a pressure cooking pot? I seriously can't find one nor can i buy it!
Try looking on cookers are in kitchens - the house near the minefield, the fire-ants or the two 1950's style families with their strange meat pies might be a good place to start.

Anyone find the Alien laser btw? I've found plenty of alien energy cells near a relay tower.
