Well, that's pretty accurate.

EDIT: Bah, I couldn't get the image to work so here's the link.

I'm starting to think that this isn't a very good poll

mine:

I thought I would have been slightly more central, or perhaps even leaning to the right. My entire perception of reality has been shattered

Holy idiotically leading questions, Batman!

I think I'll pass on this one.
This. I did take the test multiple times by now, but every single time the questions just seemed a) very geared towards a certain result and b) not descriptive enough. Hardly any extreme positions to take on the questions (The economy part, for instance, doesn't contain anything to describe a true communist economy, just a socialist one.) Also, I bet pretty much any European has to end up somewhere in the green, no matter what.

I end up somewhere between -6, -6 and -9, -9 every time, btw. This time it was -6.25, -6.28. Which is easily explained: I'm one of those filthy commies.

sadly i cannot give you non-boredom. Though i wodner where lenin would fit? certainly not next to stalin.
Lenin would be at around -10, 2 to -8, -1. Depending on the POV. The ideal he presented is more to the left and libertarian, while the state he led goes further up.

Hey, at least we agree that the patriot act is a horrible breach of personal privacy. We can always work together on those kinds of things.

I didn't think I'd be that high up to be honest. Seems like I'm one of the few reds in here... a lot of greens though... Hm.

Purple Brofist :)

OT: I'm still kind of unnerved by the uniformity of beliefs here on the escapist :(

You'd think we'd be more open to others ideas and... *remembers drowning threads and ME3 fiasco* Who the hell am I kidding.

Not surprised, expected to be slightly less libertarian.
Might be like Saladfork said, the questions are very american focused.

Yay for being different to everyone else!
Almost [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.393149-The-Political-Compass-test?page=7#15885895] everyone else. Though I don't blame you for not looking closely at each of the hundreds of graphs across ten pages.
From what I can tell, it seems you and I are pretty much the only ones moderately "right" and ever-so-slightly authoritarian.

Way off from where I thought I would be. I bet when I posted my results four years ago they were way different then, too.

I'm another "greenie."

Economic Left/Right: -4.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.92

Nearly all US politicians would be considered on the right side of that scale, with the exception of Jill Stein.

Looking over the thread, my result seems to be about the same as everyone else's.

Libertarian Right, Team Purple GO! [http://www.politicalcompass.org/printablegraph?ec=1.12&soc=-2.51]

Does sound like me, although I highly disagree with modern corporate structure (mostly the shareholders business model). At the end of the day though, what's good for the company == what's good for the state, as it should be.
