This. I did take the test multiple times by now, but every single time the questions just seemed a) very geared towards a certain result and b) not descriptive enough. Hardly any extreme positions to take on the questions (The economy part, for instance, doesn't contain anything to describe a true communist economy, just a socialist one.) Also, I bet pretty much any European has to end up somewhere in the green, no matter what.ResonanceGames said:Holy idiotically leading questions, Batman!
I think I'll pass on this one.
Lenin would be at around -10, 2 to -8, -1. Depending on the POV. The ideal he presented is more to the left and libertarian, while the state he led goes further up.Lunar Templar said:sadly i cannot give you non-boredom. Though i wodner where lenin would fit? certainly not next to stalin.
Hey, at least we agree that the patriot act is a horrible breach of personal privacy. We can always work together on those kinds of things.rotkiv said:Well I am down here in my purple corner, feeling quite lonely...http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=6.88&soc=-5.49

OT: I'm still kind of unnerved by the uniformity of beliefs here on the escapist
You'd think we'd be more open to others ideas and... *remembers drowning threads and ME3 fiasco* Who the hell am I kidding.

Wow, didn't think anyone would beat my score. My only flaw was some of the questions were strangely worded so I didn't vote "strongly" on some items. Anyway, word.
That's about how mine looked - possibly a bit farther down (Libertarian) than yours.Muspelheim said:http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=-7.75&soc=-6.00
To noone's surprise. Although I thought I would be a bit more left. Honestly, by American standards, I'm practically a Bolshevik.
En garde, Liberty Prime!

Does sound like me, although I highly disagree with modern corporate structure (mostly the shareholders business model). At the end of the day though, what's good for the company == what's good for the state, as it should be.
You back up your claims with logic, and I'll listen to anything you have to say.Zack Alklazaris said:I've noticed this trend for a while now. This is a very liberal group of people. I've tried to stir up shit by naming off some of my more "evil" beliefs (For example that one question about how people with terrible hereditary defects shouldn't be allowed to produce kids... I went yes) But even those are met with tolerance and a cuddly form of conviction.
We need some die hard neo-nazi extreme right winged conservatives in this forum. That would make things interesting.
