Thanks for correcting me. I think my point still stands, though. It's not one guy's complete and utter idiocy (as all of the above translates to idiocy in my mind) that will run the risk of having Metal perceived as some sort of unholy, Lovecraftian cacophony.

There's enough nice guys in the Heavy Metal scene to counterbalance Varg's clear and obvious... problems, to use a euphemism.

Yeah, that was the line where I stopped reading and said "wow, this guy is an idiot". I mean, in the world of metal, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath are the "Golden Oldies".

This is like ranting about that new boy-band called the "Beatles".

I choose to ignore it because the speaker is clearly a moron and Black Sabbath is old enough I'm sure there are fans IN congress. They may not know what the internet is, but Black Sabbath I'm sure they're familiar with.
