I'm just gonna hate on Capcom for what the did to RE, I may just be bitter because lots of people right now certainly seem to be giving RE6 attention because of it's new direction, and I feel tons of hate to the original fanbase as they watch what was once peaking, sink into mediocrity and a series of quicktime events.
And yes, I think 4 was the peak of the series, we need a classic RE setting, with the over the shoulder camera, and puzzles. from what I played of Revelations, it was just what I wanted but.... on a handheld, meanwhile ORC gets the console.

No, it's because they refuse to have their DLC paid for. MS and Sony won't let free DLC slide, so they don't give it out.

EA or Activision.

And neither of those are developers. They are both publishers.

EA does develop, just not strictly under the name Electronic Arts, the Madden series is developed by EA Tiburon, which used to be Tiburon entertainment but of course EA swallowed them whole like so many others. It's a gray zone but EA Tiburon is still technically now EA, even if it once was separate.

What are you talking about? Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles was one of the best games of the generation! And Resident Evil 5 is probably just as awesome as 4. I'll have to see for myself when they bring it to the Wii.

Can you link me to the source where it says they will port it to wii?

I did buy both Chronicle games, and I liked both of them, but they're really just summary games, with one new piece of canon to fill in some plot holes, and I appreciate them for their role, but really they don't add much, except for some fun co-op time.

As for RE5, it drained the charm out of the franchise for me, no merchant, just some impersonal menu between chapters, Chris went in some directions that made him feel like a pretty 2D character, and Sheva is just there to calm controversy. It's not a bad game, in fact it's really well put together, and the co-op works wonderfully; but it doesn't FEEL like an RE game, that's it's only flaw.

And from what E3 showed me, it's just more of the same for 6.

Oh yeah, that was a fun battle in Darkside, but I seriously think that the Leon story was kind of meh, it was cool to see how he and Krauser knew each other, but I think the monsters you encountered were a little silly.

Almost all the Left 4 Dead DLC was paid, invalidating your argument.

And if that really is the reason Valve is worse then I thought.

In what bizarro world does that make any sort of sense? How is that in any way fair to the customers who bought their games on consoles? Because Sony/MS won't let you release stuff for free you're going to punish US?

I mean, fuck, most people are willing to pay Call of Duty map pack prices so long as we get something.

Why?Well because they knowingly developed and released utter shite,which in many cases were just cheap knock offs of successful franchises(Billy the Wizard:Rocket Broomstick Racing..I wonder where the fuck they got that idea),preying on the knowledge that many non-clued in people would purchase their shit because it resembled more popular stuff(Well Jimmy loves Harry Potter so he should enjoy Billy the Wizard)

While other devs may occasionally release bad games or have their efforts ruined by greedy publishers DDI take the prize for not even once attempting to make a decent game.Their whole business plan seemed to be to release as many games as possible with as short a dev time as possible with as few staff as they could get away with.Thankfully the fuckers went out of business

Normally I'd say valve for the trolling, but it's really funny to see what they think of next, so no. I'm gonna say the developers of call of duty. BO2 has promise, but MW2 and 3 were cash ins, fun cash ins but cash ins none the less. Oh and rebellion, nothing but shite!

You never played Code Veronica?! It's directed by THE GOD OF GAMING!!!
Also, Darkside Chronicles took a looooot of liberties with the story.

There isn't any concrete proof they will but they did say it's open for discussion, the first time they were asked will they be localizing it, they literally said "Nope, sorry" That's what pissed a load of us off, they didn't even give us a good reason.

I will still hold out hope but I am not counting on it...

Not to mention they gave Devil May Cry, a beloved video game series to Ninja Theory so they could literally play with it, when Dante's new look was shot down by fans, Capcom said they KNEW it was going to have negative backlash, but they did it anyway. That's complete shit.

That said, Shu Takumi is a genius! Best thing Capcom has. Still waiting on the the Ace Attorney and Prof Layton Crossover announcement (they could at the very least say they are working on it)

I'd probably have to say either Square Enix or Bethesda Square Enix. Maybe Capcom Square Enix... or Konami Square Enix... wait! I know. Epic Games Square Enix.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the games Square Enix makes/publishes. But they're a pretty damn cartoonishly evil company when it comes to their PR.
