not really pointless though. i've been saved from lots of Warthogs, missiles and swords with it. if you only get yourself 5 more seconds, you're doing it wrong. i've armour locked, burst out and gunned down (remember, it emps your enemy's shield) loads of enemies, or distracted people while teammates sneak up behind them. and if the teammate dies, well then i can pop out of armour lock and get the guy while he's distracted.Grouchy Imp said:In Reach - The Power Lock ability. It makes you totally invulnerable for about five seconds. But also totally immobile. So all that you gain by using it is five seconds more life before the guy with the Energy Sword assassinates you. probably the Never-Ending Quest for 'Realism'. next, you'll have to buy insurance too.Bhaalspawn said:SWTOR: Why are there Non Force-Using classes?
I kid the Troopers and Smugglers, though.
Actually, I want to know why at-launch MMOs have such a ridiculous price for Mounts. I mean, c'mon BioWare, 40,000 credits for Speeder Piloting and another 8,000 for the actual speeder?
daedra hearts are fucking expensive. so are ebony ingots. and i've never seen an ebony vein. plus, i use Persuasion a lot. and you can sell anything to any merchant. and they all buy stolen goods.Black Arrow Officer said:Speech in Skyrim. More successful intimidation? Merchants get some extra money? The best armor can already be obtained by smithing, and the ONLY, the ONLY use for speech is the Haggling skill that makes prices cheaper for purchasing materials. The entire tree can be dumped and replaced with acrobatics for all I care.
OT: the Mauler in Halo 3. a dual-wield-able shotgun... that does half the damage of a shotgun.
