The Worst Bands Ever

Nickelbak is not bad at all, just generic and weak for a popular band. The song I listed is actually the vermin's so called best song, yuk!

Let me clarify, System of a Down and Avenged Sevenfold would be A LOT better if their singers would shut up, they have no talent.

Listen to SOAD. Listen to them. I mean, really listen. Lay down, close your eyes and listen. Analyze the lyrics, the singer's technique. Then, grab a bucket and puke into it.
You have seen the light.

I haven't listened to SOAD songs in a very long time, I want to make that clear, and I don't consider myself much of a fan anymore. BUT I want to say that Serj Tankian is renown for his vocal prowess which I also admire. Most of SOAD's lyrics were written by Daron Malakian and even if they seem strange, cryptic and borderline goofy at some points they are nevertheless (in my opinion)100% AWESOME. The lyrics in Serj Tankian's album "Elect the Dead" are pretty straightforward compared to most SOAD songs. Still I believe easily understandable lyrics are not something to judge by. Every song will start making sense if you are willing to make your mind do some work.

A quote from their song "Violent Pornography": It's a nonstop disco, I betcha it's Nabisco.

That is just horrible on so many levels...

Is "Violent Pornography" stupid? Yes.
Is it a song for people who don't actually like SOAD? Yes(Much like "Lonely day")
Is it SOAD's weakest song? No, that's "Lonely day"(generic self-pity)
Is "Violent Pornography" a good example of SOAD's work? No.
Is it still funny as hell? HYEES.

But seriously, I accept your point of view so I'll be thankful if you don't try force feeding it to me.

I don't know, maybe we should judge every band based off of their worst songs and albums. In which case, Metallica is fucked beyond belief for St. Anger.

Those 4 are amazing, admitlly LP has drop a lot since their meteora days. As for system of a down, they have one of the most unique sounds of any band in the world

Nirvana - Just my least favourite massive band in the genre ever. Cannot stand any of their albums. I've tried, I really have.

I could agree with that, the only song I liked by Nirvana was Smells like teen spirit and even then I only liked it as if it was average anyway. I pretty much hate any new band that sprung up in the last 8 to 9 years because they all sound the same to me. Just someone talking as loud as possible with noise playing in the background. The songs these days have no feel or spirit to them. Give me Zeppelin any day

I know, I was looking at the OP's list and thinking "well those aren't bad so much as bland, angsty, or annoying... wait, RED?!!", so it's nice to see I'm not the only one who wondered what the hell after that comment. Frankly none of the bands on the OP's list are terrible, except for Brokencyde, a band so horrible it makes everything else on that list, no matter how bland and mediocre, look like the work of certified musical geniuses.

But Red doesn't belong on a list of bad bands at all, seriously.
