Let me clarify, System of a Down and Avenged Sevenfold would be A LOT better if their singers would shut up, they have no talent.

Listen to SOAD. Listen to them. I mean, really listen. Lay down, close your eyes and listen. Analyze the lyrics, the singer's technique. Then, grab a bucket and puke into it.

Recent Metallica is shit.

all they're music from 2000 on sucks IMO but in the 80's and 90's they were one of the best bands to listen to.

You have to admit Death Magnetic was a step in the right direction, and they finally made good music videos. Look for All nightmare long and The day that never comes. First one is really cool and the other is decent if not interesting.

Nothing's wrong with me, that's just how it is. He sounds like someone being beat to death with a bag full of cats. His lyrics are just HORRIBLE. You would know what I'm talking about.

This may be controversial.

Nirvana - Just my least favourite massive band in the genre ever. Cannot stand any of their albums. I've tried, I really have.

I'm with you on this one. I just can't stand Nirvana. Hairbands disappeared because of THAT? Well thanks a lot, Kurt Cobain.

Also there's a band I saw on youtube once, can't remember the name. It was a bunch of guys dressed in robes and the "music" basically consisted of white noise. And they were popular. The hell?

1: Most 80's hair/glam metal was garbage. For every at least competent band (Guns 'n' Roses) there were a dozen godawful hacks (Poison, Cinderella.) Having said that, Nirvana was incredibly overrated, but at least brought about the end of the mess that was mainstream music in the 80's.

2. The band you're talking about may be Sunn. I'll admit drone metal isn't exactly for everyone, but it has it's merits.

Also, side note, the reason that Nickelback gets picked on so much isn't that they're just generic, it's that they made that sort of radio-friendly mediocrity commonplace, at least for a few years. If you want to get technical, though, you could trace that all the way back to Pearl Jam. At least the vocal style, which seems to have influenced Creed, which were the archetype for what Nickelback is still doing now.

no it wasen't IMO and thats thier only album that i positvly hate. who cares if the music videos are good, it's all about the music itself, if you think death magnetic is good then you REALLY need to liten to thier old music such as the albums when cliff was there, those were the best but they were all good except for death magnetic.

Master of Puppets and earlier were they're best albums and you need to listen to them before you can even call yourself a metallica fan.

I love old metallica and i refuse to buy anything post black album/pre Death Magnetic. I dont care about the music videos i was just adding that in. Death Magnetic is much better than St.Anger and such (I have listened to songs on that album) Metallica has gone away from poppy music and back tword the direction of Metal, im not saying the album is great, im saying they are getting better again, and thats my opinion.

Well I noticed that the video that you posted was from Lust In Space.Their worst album.So I have to ask,as a GWAR fan, have you listened to any of their older,and better stuff.Have you Seen Me is a good song.Mix of Jazz and Metal.With some fucked up/funny lyrics.Well funny in my opinion.

P.S. I am not trying to force you to like them.I am just curious.
