A fire chicken I can deal with, a fire monkey I can deal with but a freaking fire pig!?

I guess i gonna have to choose a grass starter for the first time.

You MUST be joking! The pig is THE most badass fire starter to date! Seriously, even more badass than the Dragon from 1st gen, and the FIGHTING BIRD from third gen.

The fire-pig is ridiculously cute, and that grass lizard thing looks kind of cool, but that water otter/beaver/bear looks pretty crappy.

If you don't like a giant spiked turtle with a land mass on its back.

That sounds like a mix between Blastoise and the fully evolved Grass type starter Pokemon from Gold/Silver.

Maganeum? (I have to be spelling that wrong) She did have the huge flower around her neck, but that seems to be common with hte grass starters, all of them have some sort of mass on them.

OT: ... WHY?! I have chosen fire ever sense Red and Blue, but now... i feel betrayed... I might go to the grass camp for this one.

OT: I am a bit disappointed by these new facts coming to light, but maybe it'll be like GenIV where we'll see something cool like Lucario or Drapion to balance out the lameness of these three guys.

I see the potential for the Grass-Type starter evolving into some kind of bird similar to a Quetzal... So, this might turn out better than expected. Grass/Flying evo... not bad.

For Fire piglet, I of course see the huge flaming boar, with a possibility of a Fire/Dark evo... I'm hopeful.

I don't know what to say about the little otter... Although, I'm betting that the shell he carries will get bigger and either become some kind of weapon or shield... Probably a shield, giving him the Def/Sp.Def starter position... Not sure if he'll be dual-type or not.
