I liked every single starter.

I mean... Couldn't they have just gone with these [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/global/media/images/articles/article/7291/NewPokemon.png]? I like them so much more. I was so hyped about that list because they reminded me of the first gen, while still being new and creative. These new starters? Well, we have a... pigrabbit, which is... water? A fat... badger? Raccoon? For fire? As well as a... Well I don't even know what that thing it... but it's grass.

I've never had a complaint with any of the newer generations of pokemon before. I suppose there is a first time for everything though. I'm disappointed.

Personally, I'm glad they didn't go with the starters listed there, because that would mean that list of pokemon would have a high likelyhood of being real, and I'd be highly discouraged if that were the case. 'New' and 'creative' are a few of the last words on my mind when I look at that list as a whole.

You're not the only one. Goddammit those things are ugly, real or not. Give me a charmander any day over any of these new-fangled pokeymans.

Hell no. How can you dismiss the awesomeness of a Flaming Monkey that punches you out with fists of fire? Torterra though... yeah it's a bit wierd.

Also I'm glad the coloured picture is a fake. As much as I love pokemon... I'm not sure I could love THAT.

i know, i had one of those teamed up with a charizard on platinum, there were the perfect combination! i also had a victreebel as my grass type, not ONE mutual weakness

Piplup and Turtwig I'll forgive, since their evolutions are a giant steel penguin and a bigass turtle with a garden on its back. But Chimchar can go die in a fire lake, along with its evolutions... Why did I pick Chimchar as my starter?

I'm just gonna ignore those coloured pictures and say the following:

Tail thing: Some sort of fish or something.
Rodent thing: Some sort of vegetable or something.
Pig thing: Fire pig. A flaming boar. To go with the whole "Fire-type starters/Chinese Zodiac" thing. Also, the final stage would be the most frightening thing in the world.

Blaziken is my pokemon of choice, because... well, it's a badass. Yet Sceptile looks so much cooler...
