I really really, do not like the way they look at all. They are starting to run out of ideas over there. It was already evident with DPP

I like how John had to repeat that the image below was a hoax. I mean, confirmation is always nice, but he said it plain as day the first time people.
Also, I get a feeling that the top middle one is the fire starter, the one on the left is going to be the water starter, and the one on the right is going to be the grass starter.
that, or they'll ship out a whole new set of different types of starters instead of the classic red/green/blue match up as always.

Those fan mad pics are really great. However, I think the blue one seems too much like Maril. Anyway, as much as I love Pokemon I think the new ones are getting stupider and stupider. I'll probably buy the game, since I still like the gameplay, but I won't have as much fun as I did with HeartGold where I actually knew and liked the vast majority of the Pokemon.
im honestly suprised anyone thought they were real to begin with. yes the middle fire one is a pretty good representation of what it could be but the grass one on the left is completly retarded.
either way the pokemon of late are getting more and more pathetic and gay (except cyndaquil) and i think it would be a welcome change to see new types to the starting three. example- ice, ground and fighting or flying, eletric and bug (sorry im not fantastic with the whole balancing thing)
still unless the have sandshrew/sandslash and doduo/dodrio im probably not going to get it.

None of the starters are that bad people. I mean I know we are in an age of I want something different and when you give it to me I'll complain how you killed the franchise but come on guys. Theres nearly 500 pokemon now of course their going to run out of ideas. Dont quite know what the point of this post was but oh well.

I've only played 1st and 2nd generation but I'm starting the 3rd here recently and I must say when I saw I had to choose between a goofy blue blob of a water pokemon, a fire chick (WTF), and a mediocre lizard I was pretty bummed.Magnalian said:You're not the only one. I just recently saw the starters from the 4th gen and I became very glad I didn't own a DS....seriously, a freaking monkey for a starter...common! Give me a charmander any day as well.

Eh, maybe you're right. I wouldn't really play a ds that much anyway which also has something to do with it, but money is always a consideration. I just can't stand blaziken though....it doesn't seem like a pokemon to me with it's whole anthropomorphic bipedal thing going on. I looks like a human who morphed into a weird chicken thing wearing bellbottoms.
