I think its annoying when people try to use other languages for one word in the middle of a sentince. Choose one language and stick too it. It's even worse when they do it and proceed to translate right after, why did you bother if your just going to translate directly after it makes no sence eugggg. Lastly I hate when they do that and if you don't know the word they act like your a idiot for not knowing.
sorry, but I have a habit of doing this, I've spent a lot of time in Egypt where I wasn't allowed to speak English,(long story) so now I'm used to switching language when I'm missing/forget/cbf'ed to use a word.

OT: uhh, bad grammar and spelling. as well as dismal English,oh how I loathe dismal English

So, we've all got those things we hear from time to time that just really annoy the hell out of us. What are yours?

My examples are when people say "Southern Ireland" instead of "Republic of Ireland" because there's no such place as "Southern Ireland", it doesn't exist.

Apart from that, people saying that Ireland is part of the UK are just asking to be corrected, and possibly shouted at for their ignorance.
It doesn't really piss me off per se, but I know where you come from, I had My gf's nieces ask me if Portugal was a country. I'm portuguese, and it kinda feels a bit bad to hear that.

The things that get my blood boiling though are really any sexist remark, be it feminism or machism. It just Makes me wanna yell at the freaking stupidity of either point of view. And to be true, I've noticed that feminism is much more common nowadays. I wonder why... perhaps I should make a forum thread of it.

*facepalm*

You do realize that not capitalizing the first word of a sentance is bad grammar and spelling right? So do you loathe your own English since it's right up there with "dismal?"

People who misuse contractions. There. Their. They're. Each one is specially designed for their own use, and should not be mixed up.

[small]People who screw this up shouldn't be allowed to graduate[/small]

there is a waitress at the Denny's in my town, and she refuses, despite my arguing, correcting, and downright unpleasantness, to say any variation of "How can I help you?" or "What can I get for you?" Instead, it's "How can I help yahs?" or "What can I get for yahs?" Meaning no offence to any parents on The Escapist, but just hearing her say this makes me want to punt a baby across a pit of lava, she gradded Valedictorian, but refuses to use proper English >.<

"Haters gonna hate"

No. NO! NONONONONO! That's just a bullshit way to attempt to shield yourself from any and all criticism. They aren't "haters", you just aren't very good!

I actually hate it when others say "sorry" when they either have to scooch past you, or accidentally bump into you. Mainly because it's insincere bullshit, because they're actually not sorry about it, it's very minor so they're not actually sorry - yet it's still something said automatically.

That you've never gotten a job from a poor person. It's common sense and makes you look stupid. I'm not going to bother explaining why here. Another thing that pisses me off "God bless america", WHY? Why would fairy man care? Doesn't he have an entire cosmos to lord over? Why would america be so important? Blegh I just hate religion overall. It's based in ideology that's thousands of years old, and immature to say the least.

Going on a rant here
"Lets GO YOU FUCKING MORON!" Well eeeexcuuuuuuuse me princess angry hick if im currently boomed on and have a hoard of zombies charging in my direction with my only weapons being an axe and the starting uzi which isn't ideal as YOUR shotgun for small corridors. OH AND NOW Look a smoker just chained me up you think you can help me out NO you just going to kick me out. WELL GUESS what Ellis is still going to be stuck their after im gone "YOU FUCKING MORON!"

Yeah... though Currently its the passive aggressive way the managers are at McDonald that makes me mad. Sorry for asking for a break after working six hours, but im hungry and you dont feed me during work. SORRY for not doing good on fries when I recently learned that I shouldn't make so much because we have to throw them out after fifteen minute and i hate making waste. SORRY FOR not looking you in the eye when im trying to do cook meat which isn't down where your eyes are. SORRY FOR BEING TALLER THAN YOU, but that's not something I can help now is it and trust me being a giant is as cracked up as it sounds.

/ my second rant of the day, sorry mods but im a little pissed off right now, the internet is just the easiest place to vent.

People who say I am "uneducated", "dumb", "stupid", that I "have no taste in art" or "in beautiful things" when I go on and rant/criticize modern art.
Most of the stuff on DeviantART is art from my point of view.
However, some guy spraying blue all over a flucking canvas, I don't call that art.

Not any specific phrase, but I'm pissed off by weirdos who over-react to incorrect grammar. Whoop de doo I didn't put a space between "a" and "lot" then later I said "could of". Isn't it insane to obsess and judge others over something so insignificant, aswell as completely stupid?

PS: If I used bad grammar in this reply don't bother correcting me. I could care less.
