As a huge RPG fan the word 'Wii'. Every time there is a good looking JRPG about it always ends up been for the Wii!
So, that means you skipped on Just Cause 2?! *GASP*Gunner 51 said:Up until I played Deus Ex, if I saw the publisher was Squeenix - I'd give that game a very wide berth. I still feel the same way about anything by Capcom, too. I guess I'm just not fond of Japanese games. They're a little too strange for my tastes.
But gameplay wise - the escort mission. The minute I hear "please escort..." I roll my eyes.
Its more modern, only reason I said Left 4 Dead.Thyunda said:Naw, man, I gotta disagree again. The setup and gameplay resembles the two recent Fallout releases far more than they resemble Left 4 Dead. Building weapons, scavenging ammunition, more focus on melee weapons than L4D - definitely Fallout with zombies.
Then at least you stopped early, the story (which the game is based around) gets really shitty after disc 1.Wintermute_ said:Turn based combat. Anyone here remember a game by the name of Lost Odyssey? I doubt you do. One of the most amazing trailers for a game I've ever seen, interesting premise. I eagerly bought up the 4 disc title, and as I preped for the supposedly astounding opening battle...
turn based combat. No quicker way to kill excitement and produce repetitive boring gameplay.

All your favorite weapons and spells are still available to you. The only exception to this is polearms, but those were removed in Oblivion, so it hasn't been available for the first 4 games.Urban Jackal said:Medieval Fanatasty role playing games that talk about the new features of NPC relationships, then eliminate types of weapons, armor, and spells that were available for the first 4 games.
