The second game was really interesting gameplay and story wise, the way it mixed them to provide an insight into terrorism, but the destruction alone was never enough for me. And since they based the entirety of Armageddon on that, it's no surprise it failed, to me anyway. Maybe it's for the best.
I've always thought that THQ would have gone out of business by now, they've always been slightly below the curve and been wasting a lot of money on obvious crap, but a few good games have helped them stay off. Maybe now it's not long off...
