I've been saying it's a childs toy since a week after it came out and sold mine for 500$ to a mom for her 3 year old to chew on.

This is possibly the worst troll post i've ever seen, and while it's not worth picking apart, it is worth quoting so people have twice as much chance of seeing this post.

Finally, someone stepped up and said something. But I highly doubt the parents will be happy when all the hardcore games comes out. Thats IF they come out; I mean. Wii will probably be family-orientated for well, it's console life, until a company really stands up and takes the risk to build "17+" games with actual gore in them (other than Resident Evil and a few other couple releases).

While the Wii is a console, has lots of games and a funky method of control that challenges other companies to excel, in my humble opinion - no person who considers themselves a 'Gamer', and all the possible connotations of that title, plays a Wii. It's just not that kind of system.

The Wii, in my mind - like the Game Boy, is something to do for 20mins while you wait to do/for something else. It's a time filler, like ads on TV, something to grasp your momentary attention before you get back to main event.

Now I'm sure the unwashed hordes of Nintendo fans will rush to rebuke me, but really, no matter what you say or tell yourselves...you know I'm right.

But if you enjoy playing that way - who am I to tell you any different?

Checked and fully functional. I heartily recommend a Sarcasm Meter check-up, although it's not nearly as fun as a prostate check.

You however may need to consult an optometrist, apparently you missed this part of my original post. Fear not, I made it easier for those suffering your kind of ague.

Oh THQ. You dare trash talk about the Wii when you are also responsible for it's shovelware.

Well then again they are responsible for STALKER and Metro 2033 (Both went far beyond my expectations)

They do have a point about all the shovel-ware, Nintendo should really consider turning more of it down. Leave them for the crappy V-Techs and leap-Frogs.

I'm with you on this one. As an unapologetic Wii owner, I find it difficult to find decent third-party games that don't seem like shovelware, and the Nintendo brand Wii games are still way overpriced, so I refuse to buy a lot of them.

Also, is your avatar a metal slime? I haven't seen one of them in ages.
