Oh god I got suckered into buying one of their DVDs. It is the "Ultimate Sci Fi collection". 4 movies (including "I am Omega") on the 2 sided disc. Tomas Howell's "The Day the Earth Stopped" (a Day the Earth Stood Still rip off) was the best movie out of the bunch (and was better than the Reeve's remake). Monster is a Cloverfield rip off where the monster is a giant octopus (all you see is tentacle). I gotta give them props for one thing. Instead of billion dollar budgets they use news footage to get a similar effect.

Isn't it illegal to do that? If it isn't, it certainly should be.
Once I take over the world with ninja hamsters, ill be sure to make that punishable by death... from bambo impalment.
Ouch. Will it be a public display?

That was....crap.

The premise itself is flawed; no-one would be stupid enough to make a ship called Titanic 2 move at full speed after what happened with the first one.
I'll take that bet.

Man, this is stupid. I enjoyed the original Titanic when I was a kid, mainly because it made me interested on naval ships.

But this seems extremely stupid.

It would have to be, so as to act as a deterrent. Also, for pedophilia, the impalment would be done in the same fashion as Vlad the Impaler did it.

heres what "straight to DVD" means... "no cinema would show it"

someone really needs to lay some boundaries down in this area, i mean, the first film actually had meaning! it touched the hearts of many and consoled and satisfied the people who were there! now producers have just latched on like leeches and are sucking all the money they can get out of it!

I just pray that this doesn't get as much attention by anything NOT made by them, seriously though, half of their sales are from TGWTG because everyone there is either a) chosen to dissect their latest creation or b)intentionally rip the ass out of them for entertainment

I get the feeling they originally wanted to make a movie about titanic but the studio rejected it as too unoriginal. And somehow this was approved instead. Therefore we can conclude that The Asylum is a pack of raving lunatics.

On a technical note. Aren't passenger liners more or less worthless in the current world of air-travel? It's takes most ships days to get from one side of the ocean to the other while jets tend to take hours. I mean i guess it's a really big cruse/passenger ship but still.

"history is repeating itself!"

its called "titanic 2!" were you excpecting an original storyline? i was excpecting it to say "the same day... the same course... the same fate... the same BLOODY ICEBURG!!!" can anyone who saw this name me one difference between this and the previous movie? (besides the 2 at the end of the name)

another thing to consider is why the heck anyone would want to commemorate such a lousy ship! thats like building a supersonic jet plane to commemorate a paper aeroplane!

Hmmm... I see talent in the Van Dyke family has reduced with each generation.

Surprised nobody's mentioned that Albert Wesker is the Captain in that trailer...

I'm not joking, the Captain in this film is the same actor who voices Wesker in the Resident Evil games. He's also the same guy who was sacked as the voice of Geico for slagging off the Tea Party movement.

Guess he has a gas bill to pay off.
