1: Team Fortress 2. I've racked up 600 hours of playtime, and it's still not boring.
2: Warcraft 3. It has an undying charm about it; the graphics, the mood, the sea of custom maps... it was the LAN game back in the day.
3: [free spot] - I can't recall any more games that were big enough for me to fit in this list.

3: Jedi Knights 3: Jedi Academy. That was the game that got me into gaming in the first place. Still love it.

2: Fable - The Lost Chapters. That was the game that got me into RPGs, and since I didn't get caught up in the media hype surrounding it, I was not nearly as disappointed as many others were.

And, number 1: Morrowind. I bought it off the cheap rack at EB on an impulse, and I swear it changed my life forever.

Honourable mention goes to the first Mass Effect, for showing me what action/RPGs are truly capable of.

I still play all these games.
i like your choices too! very FUN games !

Mine are RPG heavy... But meh. I love RPGs.

1: Fire Emblem 7: Amazing story, masterful and strategic gameplay, realistic characters even in such a fantastic world, emotionally driven plot, amazing twists and a truly awe inspiring soundtrack. I have put more than 200 hours into this game, and even talking about it now makes me want to play it again.

2: Final Fantasy IV: I own this game on every platform that it is possible to own it on. Soon to add the PSP version to that list. I've beaten it more than 16 times, some back to back. I've done 100% Runs, Speed Runs, Cecil Only Runs, and done everything the game has to offer, BUT I CAN'T PUT IT DOWN. It's an amazing game, with great characters, music, backgrounds and with a touching redemption story, the first Redemption story of its kind in a game. FF IV is the best FF to me.

3: Tales of the Abyss: This game. THIS GAME. Is awesome. Although it sticks to the Tales formula, it still ups the ante in almost every way. The voices are those of Voice Actors from Funimation and Toei, the plot actually had me in tears with the aptly named Tear, and Luke's journey from lazy and spoiled brat to hero is truly a great tale.

Honorable mentions to:
-Megaman X: Command Mission
-Fire Emblem 9
-Kingdom Hearts II
-Valkyria Chronicles I & II
-Borderlands
-Assassin's Creed II

-Raptor, out.

1: Okami (obviously)
2: Mass Effect 2 (will probably be replaced by ME 3)
3: I can't actually think of a 3rd. There are a lot of games I like but I can't really pick any of them as my 3rd.

1.Timesplitters Future Perfect - Timesplitters in general, but this one felt more polished then the rest. It was pure awesome fun.

2.Conker: Live and Reloaded - It is more Conker: Bad Fur Day since Live and Reloaded is a remake with fancy graphics and multiplayer but it was the only one that I played and it still kicked ass.

3. Dont have a very well defined game, maybe STALKER maybe Max Payne or GTA SA. It can even be Saints Row 2 :D

1-Persona 4: Emotionally defunct high-schoolers are always the best basis for a video game!

2-Syphon Filter: Gabriel Logan was just too darn cool with all his rolling on the ground and his superbly effective face-shooting glory.

3-Digimon World: My Angemon could kick your Charizard's ass any day.

1 - Pokemon: I got the Yellow Version when I was a kid and it was the first game I could say I owned. Since then, Pokemon has been a big influence on me. Say what you will about how it will never die when it should, but it is a solid RPG with very complex game mechanics (when you look past the simpler stuff) and it is fun. I will admit it depresses me the series has yet to evolve to the point where more choices are available (like being a Rocket or doing something other than beating the Elite Four). But I think things like that may be available soon if the series continues to innovate (even if the innovations are like baby steps).

2 - Left 4 Dead: I've met some really amazing people playing Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 online. I'm not even talking about simply being good at the game, but just good people. I've made two friends that are probably some of the best people I know. I've met others who I can get together with on a regular basis and get my game on. Plus it's just a really fun game. You know it has to be when you can jump from roof top to roof top, stalking people in hopes to leap on them and rip out their organs. :D

3 - ???: I can't decide for the third spot. Metroid Prime got me back into FPS games and opened my eyes to an amazing world of gaming. Plus it was probably one of the best games Nintendo made for the gamecube. Portal got me into PC gaming and now I prefer PC gaming over consoles, but still love Nintendo for the handful of exclusives they produce. Smash Bros is a game that allows me to get together with my friends and we all have fun beating the shit out of each other. A lot of options are good for the third choice, but I can't possibly pick one.

Pokemon:really doesn't need to be explained.I'm eighteen so guess how much time of my childhood was spent on this game.
Morrowind:The only game I've played more than pokemon and the first game to really get me sucked into a games story.
Dynasty warriors, the series:Find me around age 12-15 and no doubt any given day of the week I'd of probably played dynasty warriors.I had so much fun with that game.

1, Pokemon (all of them) - because it's been running so long, I've been able to compare the games and my capability with them. makes me feel proud that 8 years ago, I grabbed a fire starter and used ONLY that starter. caught others but only to each them HMs. Now, I carefully plan which ones I want and what moves I want them to learn

2, Halo combat evolved - I used to play this game with my dad. I had a lot of fun and comparing it to playing Reach today, I notice 3 things: I'm much better than my dad, it's never quite as fun as it used to be (still fun though) and I still hate the flood

3, Monster hunter freedom (two and unite) - I remember plying it, wanting the better armour/weapons, wanting to take down the bigger badder monsters, coming up with plans to take them down and wishing my friends had the game so we could work together

Number one is pretty obvious it's Tombraider 2
Number two - Star Wars Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2
Number three - Either Final Fantasy X or Metal Gear Solid 2

Hmm... theres alot of twos in this list for some reason. All these games I played to death there isn't anything I didn't see or do in these games.

I've been gaming for most of my life yet I've only played a few games, odd.

1) BioShock. No words need to be said, anyone who has played this knows exactly why it's here.

2) Jak and Daxter 3. I eagerly anticipated this games release, and I loved every second of it. It improved upon everything in the second game, so it made an amazing game god like. Or maybe that's just nostalgia kicking in.

3) Sonic the Hedgehog (2006 game)... No I'm just joking. What I really loved was Sonic the Hedgehog 2, I loved the first one, but for some reason I keep playing the second game and not the first. No it wasn't because I play Tails I just like the second one more.

In no real order:

Half life 2: One of the most fun experiences I've ever had playing a game, some of the best action and best characters ever.

Portal: Short and sweet. I don't even need to explain it, if you haven't played Portal you are missing one of the best games ever made.

Mass Effect 2/KotoR: I couldn't decide which of these two I like more so I'm just going to call it a tie. If you think thats cheating well screw you these games are awesome.

Honorable mentions:

Fallout 3
Rome Total war
Medieval 2 Total war
Counter Strike
Minecraft
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
