Trailers: Duke Nukem Forever Reveal Trailer

I have a horrible feeling that the tongue in cheek nature of the game and the copious amount of nudity will all just be covering up for the fact that at the end of the day DNF is a sub par shooter with unimpressive graphics, unimpressive gameplay and an impossible standard to reach. I'll still buy it on the off chance that it turns out to be a good game but as many people have said before me, this has a huge huge chance of going wrong.

You know what, I have never played a Duke Nukem game and to be honest, never really gave a crap whether this was coming out or not. I enjoyed the fact that it became an industry joke because it was a pretty damn funny one but after watching that.... I really, really want to play this game. Obviously, I don't want to succumb to the hype entirely and it's not like I'll pre-order it but yeah, I will definitely play it.

having seen the uncensored version... he just finished playing a remake of Duke 3D titled "Duke Nukem Forever" and the two college girls at the biggining come up from between his legs *cough* stating how much fun that was then one asks "What about the game Duke? was IT any good?"
he puts down the controller and says "Yeah, but after 12 f***ing years it should be!"

...also I should mention if you look at the Xbox controller buttons they spell out "D U K E"

This looks absolutely fantastic. It looks like a fun ride, and that's all that it has to be. It doesn't have to innovate, and doesn't look like it's trying to. It's Duke Fucking Nukem, and it seems to be pretty happy to be just that.

On one hand it looks decent enough to play, so I'll likely buy it a few weeks after it comes out, on the other I'm a little sad it's actually getting released, we're losing on of our best jokes!

In another 10 years there will be games who wont get the Duke Nukem Forever jokes, just as there are people now who don't get the Daikatana jokes.

I'm getting this as long as there's no censoring. I genuinely want to experience a game that just goes all out on anything that can be considered offensive. Why? Just because. When else am I going to get the chance to play such a ridiculous game? Hail to the king, baby!

Having Duke play that with an Xbox controller and not on an arcade machine like he was in the previous version is like a kick in the nuts for someone who hoped it would still be a PC game.

Uhm, it IS still going to be released for PC, it will be PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

It looks like it could be fun. I have to see if I should get this.

I grew up through the Duke Nukem era and never got around to trying the games. Sadly I'm not really impressed by this trailer. I hope for the fans sake that this doesn't turn out to be Chinese Democracy the videogame.

Either way I'm glad it's going to make buttloads of money to fund Borderlands 2.
