I'm going have to call bullshit on this one, the only way the British royal family could be connected to anyone in Eastern Europe would be through the House of Habsburg, which would just mean that Pattinson is related to TWO horribly imbred royal families rather then just one. Even the Habsburgs only owned Croatia in the east, so I severely doubt that Vlad the Impaler had much of a connection. In fact, I'd bet that people from Turkey are more likely to be related to Vlad then anyone from the rest of Europe.

As someone who lives in the country once ruled by Vlad Țepeș, I find that piece of news offensive and call BS. Why exactly? Because contrary to all the slander and the vampire books, Vlad Țepeș is a national icon that we respect.
I really would like to see how in the name of God did they tie a 15th century Romanian ruler to the Windsors and then to that guy.
