So then the two places that are the heaviest with censorship are getting a game that was banned in the country that doesn't censor anything? I mean look at Germany and Australia, Australians don't even have a rating that's high enough to classify some games and Germany cuts out most things from their release of games.
Germany cuts violence and nazi-related stuff more often than pornography.
Apparently, the slightest hint of a swastika will turn any German into a nazi monster. Spoiler: Blood drops make us kill ourselves.

Still, it's yet to see if that game makes it to Germany. I doubt it. Those who really want that game are probably going to get it from Austria, the land of uncensored games.

Wait, why wouldn't it go over to you guys? The ad clearly shows ADULTS playing the game. What possible problem is there?
america gets hysterical about sex. the only appropriate entertainment for americans is violence.

Haha! Who said that the U.S.'s overly-conservative views of sex weren't good for anything? Enjoy having to suffer through this garbage, Europe.

The only thing that baffles me around this whole game is, why would an adult have a Wii unless he had kids. And if he had kids, why would he play something so saucy on his child's Wii?
i'm an adult without kids and my wife and i have a wii.

bwahahahaha. That's surely someone's early-released april fools joke?

If not: Are american's really so repressed that this game would cause an outrage? Or even be better than fracking aweful?

Sigh. the world we live in.
Remember, this is the country where people are still surprised when they find their kids playing a graphically violent video game.
Despite the rating system indicating it clearly is not for children.
Or the store screening processes.
Or the fact that they bought the fucking thing in the first place.

Why is it, that if it happens in America it's because Americans are repressed, or stupid, or too guarded. But when Germany or Australia bans a game, it's "Oh well, that's those damn game boards. Can't wait for the next meeting."

Edit: Wow look at all these posts, that immediately ask if it's because of the American people. Not the government, nor the political groups, nor any other bias'd faction but the American people.
While it is possible that the american people are, on average, no more repressed than the rest of the world, they certainly put that face forward based on media coverage. When a nutter is claiming that games==rape, odds are they are American. When some loon is claiming that a tiny bit of clevage in a film is satanic, they're probably american. When some asshat is saying that god hates ***s, they're American.

And when a game company decides not to even *try* to sell a game to Americans, the only reasonable assumption is that they think American's will freak out and give them lots of bad press. I think their decision is stupid; they'd probably sell more of this product both within and without the US once they got fox news et al to get their panic on; but the reason is *clearly* they don't think the US would deal well with it.

I have no idea what i find funnier
1 ) Game that contains mini-games aimed at couples/adults
2 ) Not being released in america due to who it is aimed at
3 ) Getting a pegi 12 rating (aka anyone 12 years and older can buy it)in europe

You really do not wanna find you son daughter (aged around12+) playing this the was it is intended.

Meh. It'll probably be shit anyway. And for those who really want it, Wii and PS3 games aren't region-locked, right?

Wow, who could've seen this one coming? [/sarcasm]
Oh well, from the looks of it, we're not missing out on much.

I guess sex parties will just have to be conducted the ol' fashion way: with cheap booze and bootleg porn.

This seems appropriate:

OT:I'm actually kind of glad that this was banned. If anyone in my god-fearing town saw this game on shelves in the Wal-Mart, they would move to outlaw video games in the entire county. And they would probably succeed, seeing as that people here are as smart as bricks.

No big deal, I won't be slapping anyone's ass with my wiimote in their pants anytime soon.

I'm glad Ubisoft had the decency of not filling the shelves with even more shovelware.

too bad America is still to uptight. Its like they already have a Wii remote shoved where the sun dont shine. We miss out on some of the best games because America tries not to offend ANY ONE. It makes it kinda sad when the rest of us think it would come across as fun/humorous. oh well :)

This baffles me completely. Many adults grew up playing Zelda and Mario, and still let Link and the chubby plumber drain their wallets. Many adults own the Wii.

Do you believe adults should only play games that involve shooting people from behind chest-high walls in grey/brown dystopian nightmare worlds?

Sex?! OMG HIDE YO CHILDREN, HIDE YO WIVES

Is America still that conservative? Oh well. Sex and video games; the two biggest evils of our time are once again one.
Now I'm happy to live in Europe.
Yes, the voting majority here really is still that conservative.
