I'm not sure I count this as a 'hobby', so to speak, but I spend an awful amount of my time trying to relieve Jordan of his trousers when he's trying to focus on something important...

...okay so that doesn't count, I just do it a lot and it's fun. Erm...

...fuck, I don't have any hobbies, unusual or otherwise. I'm so lame.

Sitting at the computer while slowly breaking eggshells into tiny pieces or ripping up the nearest piece of loose paper bit by bit. Just kidding, fiddling isn't really a hobby, and I don't do that a whole lot.

It's not a hobby yet, but I've been wanting to make a raft out of old plastic bottles, duct tape, and whatever else we see fit to stabilise it. I want it to be able to fit about three people on it comfortably, and we can row around canals obstructing the waterfront views of McMansions while sipping drinks and watching out for sharks. The thought of sharks only just occurred to me... >_<

I also want to make a record player out of a bicycle.

I like writing historical fiction. Used to do Tai Chi, a 'soft' martial art that us usually limited to old fogeys!

Currently, because I believe he should have had more than 99 days, wondering: what if Frederick III ruled for 99 months?

I design and build lego models. I have a very large collection back at home, but unfortunately, there's not really any room for lego in my dorm room, and I haven't really had time to build in a while. A shame really.

Heh, me too. I've got an almost finished and damn big battlecruiser standing around because all of my stuff is now at my grandparents' house which is a 4 hours drive away so I don't get to build very often.
Aw well, I've got Minecraft to make up for it at least...

And in the future I might have to add "paramedic" to my hobbies seeing as I won't have the time to do it full-time once uni starts in septembre. I hope that hobby's uncommon enough for your needs.
Do you have a flickr account? If you're who I think you are, believe I may already know you (online at least).
I do own one, but I seriously doubt it's me you know...

I collect bottle caps. Not alcohol ones, just J2O and Coke.

You never know when. Never.
Me and a bunch of friends do the same, except we collect all caps we come along. We also use them as credit in our poker games, started out that way because one of our friends did not want to play for money out of principal (and/or religious, not sure anymore) reasons and we wanted a persistent form of "currency" we could all obtain and use.

We're all in the 200-500 caps region now ^^

I remove labels from every new beverage I drink and keep them in my wallet. At this point I have what can only be described as a "Costnaza wallet."

According to my co-workers D&D and video games is a weird hobby.
Otherwise...
shooting range?
woodworking?
martial arts?

I don't know if any of those are 'weird.'

I guess hung ga in and of itself is kind of rare. Works very well for a man of my size.

Though I've never had a first hand encounter I like to research the paranormal, but I'd never use a Ouiga board or anything else that may open a gate/portal to the other side for fear of unwanted spirits crossing over, but I DO however wish to encounter a spirit some day, preferably in a well known haunted area, castle, hotel, mansion or other historic land-site. It may seem odd but please don't go into the "they don't exist" or "I can disprove you" arguments because there may not be proof they exist but same goes for many religious figures and just like them there is also no proof they don't exist. (note I'm sort of agnostic) I also like to study up on cryptozoology and other paranormal phenomenons.

I read old books, as in up to 2500 years old, although mostly just late 19th early 20th century. I also collect military hats, although I only have like 3 because they're not that common where I live.
