I think democracy is a faulty system and should be replaced by a dictatorship or aristocracy à la Plato's Politeia, paired with behaviourist elements of Skinner's Walden Two (read: centralised child raising, eugenics).

Edit:
Oh, and while we're at it: I think atheists who claim to be definitely 'right' are just as bad as fundamentalists, because both think that they know how things 'really' are (i.e. God exists or doesn't exist, respectively). We cannot know if there is a God. Just because the concept of 'God' is manmade, it doesn't mean that no God exists, which is why I, personally, am agnostic.
To be frank, those extreme atheists are even more annoying to me than religious fanatics. At least no one takes the latter seriously.

Another one: I think that left-wing extremists are just as bad as right-wing extremists. Possibly worse, because people still take the left-wings seriously because they keep saying "We are against national socialism!". Both groups consist of intolerant scum. Yes, I acknowledge my own intolerance there.

Aaand another one: Possibly not an unpopular opinion, but life has clearly become too easy. You don't need the slightest bit of intelligence anymore to survive. This is also the reason why life, nowadays, is very boring. Sure, we may have financial problems or whatever, but when do we ever need to fear more absolute things, like death? Something like a zombie apocalypse would, maybe, not be such a bad thing.

Another: I dislike people who use 'Q.E.D.' after posting their opinion (or even after delivering arguments) because they think it makes them sound smart, or 'more right'. 'Q.E.D.' is used after deductively (read: logically) proving something, like in maths.

I also dislike neither America nor Apple nor Microsoft nor any other country or company per se. People who claim to 'hate' them because they do their job (i. e., successfully making money in the case of companies) are stupid.

...I could go on and on.

I dont think its ever that simple....

anyway I dont think bullying is ever ok, and the bullies themselfs...well I hear they dont exactlaly turn into prodoctive members of society (and theyre assholes who should get away with it)

thease days the school systm mabye doesnt do much for teaching kids resiliance, being told they are brilliant when they arnt, everyone gets an award and peoples feelings arnt hurt (Ive read plenty of cracked.com articles on the subject)

so yeah, them turing into adult children who cant deal with the pressues of the real world..that I can understand, I dont think it has much "specificlaly" to do with bullying in the traditional sense but more of the "bubble wrap" mentality, and people blaimg everyone else for their problems

but this "social darwinim" shit's just too extreme..and I dont belive punishing kids for being "whiney bitches" does them all that good..like my past point...issues

I think children with severe mental deficiencies (to the point where they aren't conscious of who they are or where they are etc) should either be killed or have all medical care cut off from them.

They don't do anything and cost the government thousands before they die. That money could go to a better cause.

*Flame shield up*
agreed, its a terrible thing euthanasia, but honestly, for people so close to dying there is little you can do, or for people who cannot contribute regardless if they live, well, the resources keeping them alive are all for naught really.

if i ever get into that state (and i hope to hell i don't) if there was almost no chance of me living, or ever being able to contribute in any meaningful way, i would rather they just end it, so long as they end it quick.

I disagree solely because I think it comes down to what you expected from a fallout game and your opinions of the first 2.

Then again, it's your opinion so It's most certainly not wrong.

I despise what is becoming the norm in British (though I am sure this happening elsewhere) youth, the legions of idiots who are obsessed in looks and popularity and have absolutely to use in later life. People who breeze through school not learning anything who complain when their life is awful and get annoyed about their dead end careers. These people should be sent to labour camps and forced to mine or something and leave people who actually matter alone!

Also I didn't think much of Borderlands, still believe in marriage, hate people who complain about how bad THEY have it (looking at you Relish In Chaos), believe the ends justify the means and think pornography is messed up...

You should have to take an exam before you vote. The exam would be on the various polocies of the candidates. If you fail the exam you lose the right to vote.

I don't think parents are selfish, though I do think that couples who have IVF are.

There are tons of kids in the care system who desperately need to be adopted into a good home and instead you chose to spend thousands of your money so you could concieve naturally. Congrats, your down on cash and a vulnerable child continues to grow up in care and have his/her chances of a decent life reduced.

I don't think universities should hold places for state school people over privately educated kids. The most successful people should get in, not have someone with lesser grades than them take their place.

lets say you have somone who is yes, physically weak and mabye a little on the shy side, he's also incredibly bright and creative

but then youve got this other guy who is built like a tank, loud, obnoxious and dumb as a brick...hes the kind to victimize the other guy...is his life really worth more? whats he got to contribute? other than being a thug

I'm not saying we should just let kids go at it and beat each other to death... tho that would solve a lot of problems... just that some bullying between kids is for the best when it is within reason... it's honestly the best time to introduce and teach people that they need to toughen up before the real world because there are people around to make sure it doesn't get to far... it's far better for them to learn it as a kid than to be thrust out into the real world alone while they are still pussies who will be beaten down and taken advantage of at every single opportunity... and I never said we should just let the kids pick on each other to no end.. hell a big strong kid beats up a small little one than the little one needs to learn how to rise above it and stop it from happening... if all else fails than an adult should backhand both of them... the bully for being an ass and the other one for being a little *****... because neither extremes are desirable.. but the way it works today the kid cries and the bully get punished so now all you have done is teach the kid that whenever life gets hard it's ok to be a whiny little ***** cause he can just cry and call it unfair and someones will solve his problems

society today in 1st world countries has become way to soft... it's why we see so many whiny crybaby "adults" who are completely inept at taking care of their own problems...
What if said kid is too busy getting the shit kicked out of them by their parents at home getting fractures and sexual abuse to know what to do about bullies because their parents won't teach them anything other then physical and emotional pain, where they begin to picture that abuse is all they know and deserve it because they are brought up to feel worthless?

I guess it would be their fault too then? not everyone has a wonderful peachy life where they can rely on role-models to teach them to stand up for themselves.

Yikes, that was a big quote

I think bars and alcohol should be considerably restricted in things like location, opening times and how many people should be admitted at a certain time, how many units a person can buy. Why? Because some drunk people are (besides annoying, selfish and idiotic) dangerous. Quite dangerous.

Speaking on behalf of my childhood, you sir, are wrong. I was mercilessly bullied verbally, emotionally and physically for nearly a decade and it's this kind of shit that enables that torment. We do not punish the kid who got punched in the face infront of an entire lunch hall full of people. We not tell a bullied child to spend his time in the library because we cannot be bothered to enforce some discipline in the cuntbags who torment him. We do not assume it's good character development for a child to have to wait until his teacher leaves the room and use that teacher as a personal escort to avoid being lynched by his classmates.

You do not expect a bullied child to learn how to stand up for themselves when given mountains of different advice from different people. There is no justification for this behaviour. Period. Nothing good can ever come out of bullying, it is not teasing among friends, it's a traumatic experience for those on the recieving end of it and it colours their perceptions of people for the rest of their lives, and it results in the bullys developing into the assholes of the adult world, either being the tyrannical boss in your job or the guy who knifes you for your wallet.

Do not try and tell someone who was bullied that it was justifiable in any way. It's like pissing on Quran infront of Al-quiada.

I don't see why we need both muffins and cupcakes. Open your eyes, people!

There. I said it. I'm not apologizing.
cupcakes are just small cakes, a muffin is more like bread and are quite different from each other actually, and i refuse to lose either! dont try and take my Sunday morning fruit muffin from me...i will cold stab a guy for that.

my unpopular ideas would probably be things like:
i would honestly support a communist regime
Satanists are a bunch of childish fucks
in terms of religion i think people should be allowed to believe what ever the hell they need to get through the day, just keep it to themselves (also i dont think Druidism should be considered a real religion for charitable status...dont know why though?)
i prefer modern rpgs to all those so called retro classic ones

i am sure there is more but im tired
