The voice actor in the beginning sounded allot like revy from black lagoon.

And yet...this was really the same voice-actor who portrayed Sana Kurata, the main character of Kodocha (wiki/youtube it if you don't know).

I can see how this game was almost not "just another JRPG". I can see how much more this would suck if the protagonist was the girl's androgynous teenage brother instead of her dad - this opening scene has a much grittier, more believable vibe than other anime games. I'm sure it evaporates within a few minutes of play, but good effort, Japan!

That was actually a good, and pretty interesting cutscene. I guess the very beginning didn't weird me out as much as everyone else because I already heard about the swearing nipple slip hermaphrodite character. And man-book. Or book-man.
