Hardened edition looks great; exactly what I wanted. A cool art book, a download code (the original COD; a game I have not played as well) and the best of the three boxes.

Why waste money on the prestige edition - it'll be cheap, tacky and a waste of money.
Oooh, i don't know about that.
Lol, I assume you understand I meant cheap as in low-quality. As for this edition - it would cost me the same amount to buy COD on arcade, so I see it as a positive.

I'm definitely buying this, even if the NVG turns out to be useless or made by Fisher Price

Would go perfect with my leafy suit! Though I only buy things that actually work properly so this is a no-go for me.

Nah, I think I will settle myself with the hardened version. If they launch that version on PC that will say :p

the goggles are going to be SHIT, unless they want to charge you £500 plus for the package

These are just toy nightvision goggles, don't expect to get anything you actually see in the game. Civilians cannot even get later generation optics. With these it looks like you might suffer from a narrow field of vision with a lack of depth perception. This also isn't true nightvision goggles in the sense of you think of them as stealthy Sam Fisher-esque. You can see the large ring of infrared diodes around the optics of the goggles.

This is similar to the "Eyeclops" Night vision set, which runs about 70-80 dollars. The only difference is this is shaped in the visage of a military headset. Ergo, I believe that the collectors edition will probably cost $120-200, depending how much they want to charge.

I think Arkham Asylum had the best collector's edition of the year with the batarang.

I've been pricing out night vision optics, and this is the best that I could find without going up to generation 3 (military/law enforcement grade) gear. I like this perticular one because of all the accesories that it can be mounted too, or expanded with (headset, rifle scope, IR laser).
Those are the ones that Cpt. Price uses in MW. The one-eyed ones.

I don't care if they suck, i still want them. They had beter bring this out in the UK. If they don't i will see it as a declaration of war

Completely fucking ridiculous, but damn I want a pair of NVGs. I probably won't have the cash though, I'll be a student by then.

I can just make night vision goggles if I want to. They'd also be much less bulky than those monstrosities...
Have I scared the public yet today?
I'm also making a pipe rifle.

And this will cost...?

This is probably the most ridiculous idea for a limited edition of a video game, but I love the idea, more shinanigans ahead!
