$150 doesn't make sense...
if they are fully functional night vision goggles i'd expect this would cost a lot more... unless NVGs are cheaper then i presume...

What's Modern Warfare 3 gonna come with? A fully-functional AK-47?

Anyway, to clear up my thoughts on this matter: want.
considering a fully functional AK-47 only costs around $30 to manufacture.....

I'm getting the Hardened edition. I'm never going to use night-vision googles but I got the collector's edition for the first one so I'll get the second one too. As for the token for Call of Duty 1, I might sell that on E-Bay to make a quick buck...Although, first I have to get an E-Bay account. Well anyway, for those of you who'll want a free token, be on the lookout for it.

Night-vision goggles? Wow. A lot of people are going to be happy.

WOOOOOOOOOOOO, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: Stalker Edition!

Why play games when you can creep around your crush's house rooting through her trash cans with game-licensed night vision goggles!!!

And you just know that's what they'll be used for, then the weirdo will get caught, and the goggles confiscated, and then the newspapers will get hold of the story, and boldly declare on the front page (or more likely page 42) "Do video games turn our children into weird night-dwelling self-molesting stalkers?". It's like that bloody camera thing for the 360, which was meant to take pictures of your face for use in games or on xbox live, but everyone just took pictures of their genitals and posted them as their avatar.

This prestige edition is a bad idea. Why don't they just start handing out hunting rifles with their games now?
This made me giggle.

To be honest a good pair of NVG is a couple grand. What they are more then likely hawking is infrared which is about $20 for a cheapass pair which is what this will be. Oh well all the tards will buy it in droves.

...Well even if the game turns out to be shit (though that's doubtful, given their track record ^o^ ), and the rest of it is lackluster (again, doubtful), at the very least the goggles would be good for pantie raids at summer camp o_O

looks amazing... the only problem would be cost... if its any more than 120 i wouldn't see many people buying it (including me)

While this is excessive, it is at least a practical addition to the pack. :p Personally, I would love to have a pair of Night-Vision Goggles. I cannot count the number of times I had to make do without a light.

But yes, I doubt many people will spend money for this.

Tons of people bought Rock Band for $160+ o.o

As always, have money, will game. Besides, you could always just buy the special edition, instead of the "special-special" edition. Its better than having accessories/an accessory that forces the price past the point of ridiculous just to play the bleeding thing (ie- Steel Battalion). Though I will admit that the amount of crap that's packed in there is utterly crazy, someone's going to buy it... just not me, most likely :/ Haven't even played the first Modern Combat... (dumb question: wasn't that CoD4 o_O?)

Cheap plastic generation 1 NVGs that you could be lucky to see 50 feet in.

You're paying for brand name Eyeclops NVGs (They cost about 90 dollars and look like ass)

My boyfriend just orgasmed when he heard this...like, literally. Then he heard it was Modern Warfare 2 and he cried a bit.
Heh... You should definitely keep an eye on him, might do something drastic ^^

Well, the night vision goggles might seem a good idea at first, but id never use them... I mean, every time I go out of my house past 9PM im hardly gonna bring a set of Night Vision goggles...

And the DW code for CoD1 doesn't interest me, as I already own it from when it first came out...so... I guess im just gonna be getting the normal, non-retarded-gimmick version, then.

No. Just with that one word I stated what I think about spending $200 for a game and night vision goggles that are most likely be crap. And the settings are going to be how bright the flashlights are.
