Hmmm, well in seeing this I am somehow reminded of "Beverly Hills Ninja" which was at least pretty funny to me.

Let's be honest, I'm fat, but I don't get all uptight about humor made about fat people. I grew up with guys like John Candy and Chris Farley and their somewhat self-depreciating style of humor... Blubberella seems like the kind of movie they would have made, albiet in this case it's a female lead.

Given the fact that I do not recognize the lady playing the lead, I can't say anything for how she might carry the kind of movie this might be. If it was an action-comedy starring Chris, John, or that Sammo Hung guy that did "Martial Law" I'd probably be saying that this movie was going to rock.... right now it's just "meh" due to the unknown playing the role, and the director.

Apparently, Rampage was pretty decent, but I haven't seen it, so I couldn't tell you. As for the money-making bit, he takes advantage of loopholes in German law to make a profit on his films, regardless of how hard they bomb, or so I'm told (I'm not familiar with the specifics).

As for this film, the poster alone looks hysterical. I may have to purchase this exclusively on principle.

Nope those taxholes only worked for about 2 movies, after that he made the money with his "reputation"
