Hooray! Happiest day ever!
Also, thank you for calling them Macintosh PC's in the article.
I hate how everyone calls non mac's PC's.
PC stands for personal computer!
But macs are not personal. Being able to change the desktop background does not count as personalization. I can go out and buy a part for my PC and have it installed in less than 2 hours macs don't do that.
I didn't write that to start a mac pc flame war.
I have owned pc's and mac's throughout my life. Both have their applications. Besides both are big faceless corporations that don't give a frak about anyone. Why be a fanboy? I bought a mac because I've tried both mac and pc for audio editing and I prefer mac. I just can't afford to own a pc as well right now.
And just so you are clear, there is a difference between "personal" and "personalization":
personal
?adjective
1.
of, pertaining to, or coming as from a particular person; individual; private: a personal opinion.
personalize
?verb (used with object),-ized, -iz·ing.
1.
to have marked with one's initials, name, or monogram: to personalize stationery.
2.
to make personal, as by applying a general statement to oneself.
3.
to ascribe personal qualities to; personify.
Use personalization in a Sentence
See images of personalization
Search personalization on the Web
So no, you might not be able to "Personalize" a mac, but that doesn't mean it's not MY personal computer. You're stretching the word to fit your meaning, which is closer to the meaning of "Customization".
Yes I will agree PC's are more customizable.
And also that apple's are less yellow than bananas.
But I still like the taste of apples over bananas (see what I did there
