O dear god, the Yao Guai in Fallout 3 scare the crap out of me. A lot of the time I wont notice the thing until it's right next to me, and it'll roar at full volume. I nearly soil myself.

Sander Cohen would definitely be on my list. More subtle version of scary, but he was surely creepy.

Chryssalids from UFO. Scariest. Enemy. Ever. Also the zombies that they turn your soldiers into, because you know they're gonna turn into chryssalids.

Oh man, the Redeads take the cake on this one. I was scared crapless by them the first time I heard their characteristic shriek. They actually stopped me from playing through the adult part of OoT when I saw them in the Market. I assumed that all of Hyrule was now full of them, so I freaked out and avoided the adult Link portion for a while. Nowadays, I'm brave enough to fight them, but they still unnerve me a little. Every time I enter a new room in the Shadow Temple, I play the Sun's Song just to be safe.

And nothing else in gaming has scared me ever since.

it's not so much a game character as much as an animated character from a film that later got worked into a game.

used to scared the shit out of me.
then later in my life in Kingdom Hearts 1 i got the chance to square off against him, i consider it a fear conquered.

Poison Headcrabs. I had no clue they were about to show up in Ravenholm, and them hiss before they attack you. Jesus, I wasted all of my SMG grenades in thirty seconds after a pair of them showed up.

Also, Mother Brain from Super Metroid. That woman(?) creeps me right the hell out.

The robot that always talk to you in Portal.In the last 30 minutes or so when she starts saying she'll kill you i was pretty scared.

Well if i had to pick one it would be......the creepy pirate child thing salazar from resident evil 4, he dident ever scare me but by f**k he was creey (shutters), just that wee laugh sends chills up my spine.

Im really scared of the spider splicers from Bioshock (the ones with the rusty hooks). Just the start of the game, seeing one disembowel a guy then scream at you and hide in the shadows is pretty creepy.

I was also really afraid of balverines after I saw them in the first Fable. Couldnt sleep that night.
