Except that I don't think that sex with a virgin is about having good sex. Not really. I think it's kind of a whole "I got there first" thing. A guy that has sex with a virgin can see himself as the Neil Armstrong of that woman. It's an ego boost is what it really is.

In that light, I think an argument could be made that what she is doing is in fact in keeping with the idea of Women Studies, or if not in keeping with it's idea, then at lest ironic within it's context.

She's using men's instincts to "be the first one there", our natural competativeness, especially in America's oversexed cultural atmosphere, to subjugate and dominate every man who enters into the bidding. She's forcing them to jump through fiscal hoops to get what she has.

She is, in fact, doing to men what men have done to women countless times in the past. That is, played on certain natural instincts to manipulate a person into doing something. Think about it, how many husbands have probably played on a working wife's nurturing instincts to manipulate her into becoming a house wife after a child is born.

So, as I said before, in this light, I think an argument could be made that what she is doing is empowering and therefore in keeping with her major. Maybe, just a thought.
