@Worgen,
COD WW2 is complete! An excellent single player overall. Some of the vehicle sections can be a little wonky (mainly the plane combat section), and I ran into some weird bugs in the next to last mission, but nothing game breaking. This COD has so much variety in its levels, set pieces, and missions you do. Even more so than Infinite Warfare.
IW has more combat options of course, but there is routine of either dog fighting, bombarding/infiltrating a ship, or space dog fighting. You're always doing one of the three, or all the above.
WW2 war zones, stealth sections, and the occasional vehicles which mostly flow well together. You even take control of different character in specific chapters, when not playing as Daniels.
The people who cried about the QTEs in this game, are exaggerating. They are there, but no worse in amount than most
CODs. That, and some people were upset that this game wasn't as good as the older WW2 titles. Though that's a huge YMMV. I never cared much for
COD3, as that game felt like a mission pack sequel to
COD2, with much more annoying QTEs. Or god forbid, for not being a generic grunt in the past classic
COD Trilogy. That last one makes no sense, I don't know what they were aiming for with such a ridiculous complaint and argument. I sorta get, but at the same time, WW2 has a clearly established main protag and decently sized supporting cast. What is wrong with that? Nothing!
The game has 12 missions total, but Mission 12, Epilogue, is a glorified walking and then running section, but works for the context it's doing. The story is surprisingly great, and I care about the characters. The cast is not as strong as
Infinite Warfare, but I love the
WW2 cast more than
AW and the
OG Modern Warfare Trilogy and
Reboot Trilogy.
I will get back into
Advanced Warfare momentarily. I decided to pick up
COD Vangaurd (PS5), because they have for cheap at my GameStop, and I traded in another game to get it a bit cheaper. I already installed it. I heard the campaign is fun, but there's only 9 missions, instead of 11.
Vanguard is a bit more over the top, and was originally supposed to be more
Wolfenstein AU-like. Activision wouldn't let Sledge do that for some dumb reason.
I've been doing some
Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX in-between and doing Reverse Dramatic Battle Survival with various characters. I got to stage 14 Karin, before dying .
