What did you waste your Masterball on?

I used mine on MewTwo in Blue. I was way too young to understand anything about the game though. I'm pretty sure my cousin caught it for me.
I forget what I used it on in Silver.
I have yet to even obtain the Master Ball in White.

My friend told me you could use master balls to steal a trainer pokemon, so when a trainer threw out Charizard I used it, and he obviously broke out of it, making me lose the master ball.

At this point I didn't really shutdown to use it on something else. But I told my friend it had worked and he wasted his too, so it was fair enough.

Fair trade indeed. Though imagine if you'd reloaded, convinced your friend to do it, and he didn't reload? That would've been hilarious for everyone involved ... except him.

My first one ever I used on a Trainer Clafairy, because I read it could catch any pokemon ever so i tried failed and lost it for my first ever run through of Blue. From then on I used it on the games Mascot legendary. The only ones I haven't had to this day are Raikou, Ente, Lugia, Latios and Latias. The first and last two are just quick little bastards I can't keep still. Lugia I just never found. I know where it is I've just never been able to force myself to get to it.

I have a whole bunch of them because I never liked using them, using them felt like such a waste so I traded them across games. The roaming ones were kinda worth it (Entie, Suicine, Riakou, Latios, Latias, Cressellia, Tornadus, Thunderus etc.)

Although I did once meet a guy who thought the whole purpose of the game was to exhaust an area of pokemon - a kinda literal Gotta catch em all. And progressed through the game but always heading back to to Veridian forest trying to catch EVERY pokemon in the area until no more would appear. I think he used the Masterball on a Weedle

After getting 148 of the original 150 (damn you Kabuto and Jolteon), I just used the master ball on the game's larger 'boss' pokemon. Mewtwo, Ho-oh (Silver) and Lugia (Gold), etc. Now, I use the masterball on the FIRST shiny pokemon I see. It makes the poor creature looked hacked to my friends, but I know it's legit.

I was always too paranoid to use my masterball, always using ultra balls under the assumption that I'd need it later. Here I am now, with every legendary in HG/SS, D/P/P, and B/W and I have no idea what to do with the gorram thing. It just sits there in my inventory, taunting me...

I used mine on a Electrode. By accident. Did not evem realise i get one of them and saved. I was pretty angry

I used mine in ruby on Groudon without realizing there was one of those bastard roaming pokemon to catch. Speaking of which you can count using it on one of the three bastard dogs in silver because you'd have to be sherlock fucking holmes to catch all three of those.

Finding the roaming Pokemon has to be the best part of the after game experience! Hours of additional fun!

Wasting it on Zekrom in White while afterwards learning that the catch rate is extremely high on both of the cover legendaries in this generation. Even though I've already caught every legendary the game has to offer without events anyway.

Back when I played Red Version, I duped the master ball using the Missing Number trick, so I always had plenty of them.

I read the description of the masterball.. it said catch any pokemon without fail... I used it on my Rivals starter and it bounced off... apparently any pokemon without fail doesn't mean what I thought it did.. I kept playing for funzies never meaning to save, but accidentally did. I think I win biggest d'oh.

On silver when I wasted it on lugia before I found there's a much more powerful Ho-oh later on.
