Duke Nukem 3d (1996), Age of Empires (1997), Tomb Raider (1996)
Tomb Raider was probably my fav but I think I logged the most hours on Duke Nukems level editor. I still play Age of Empires to this day
Perhaps this isn't quite what you were going for with "old games" since it was released in 1995, but I'm a young 'un so I was just a kid at the time.
Ascendancy!
It was my favorite game for a number of years. Sure the technology tree was the same for everyone in the end, and the graphics were kind of meh, but the various styles and the diversity of the universe was amazing. The music was pretty nice too! Swaparamans <3
Hmmm... Jedi Knight. The first one. One of the first great FPS games I played. Sure, lightsaber combat was perfected in Jedi Knight II but JKI was the first great implementation of the classic weapon.
