I get that many things seem to be going wrong. However, after peeking at your profile, I think you should be quite content. You live in a veritable golden age compared to centuries past. You get to eat food everyday that Marie Antoinette would die for, wear clothes of such fine weave and make that would dull the splendor of King Solomon's garments. I can only assume you also live in a relatively stable house, do not sleep with your livestock, and will probably not die before the age of 20.
Just compare the worst thing that's likely to happen to you today to the challenges medieval child of the same age would face. It is highly unlikely that anyone will impale you on a pike, torture you because your parents adhere to a different doctrine. You're not going to die from the common cold, or starve to death.

That show pissed me right off. As a kid, I'd always wonder why an Aardvark (yes, that is what arthur is supposed to be) is bigger than a puppy (as it happens, it only comes up to his ankle). like you said OP, this gen. is gunna live a shorter life, so i say..fuck it. do what's important to you. make the best out of what you have. you could get shot in the head tomorrow, and die in an alley. you could live to be 97 years old and die in a warm bed surrounded by loved ones. you neve rknow. just start living. have no regrets about what you do. in a recent post i made...the motto i live by, from personal experience..is:

My policy on this, as with any other time a problem is pointed out, is to simply accept your statment, and move on. Until a solution is presented, it does no good to go telling people how awful things are. Some people are trying to fix it, most of them are just making it worse.
