Probably not.
Already happens in Germany and other countries...
Yeah, upon reflection I am aware it already happens. It would be nice to know some specifics. I've heard these events are televised within Korea and China as well? Correct me if I'm wrong please.

I was thinking something of a worldwide scale though, however livestreams accomodate that adequately so far, but maybe someday MLG will be broadcasted on television worldwide?

Key-Binder Elitists in MMO's

They may be right that binding is faster but the undeniable arrogance they show to anyone who plays how they enjoy playing is too much for me.

I'm learning to keybind myself because I'm playing GW2, making YouTube videos.
I played WoW but always clicked (With 1 or 2 binds for 'next target' & 'Interact')
(I played a mage, Could easily stay mobile & keep up with Cooldowns.)
So a clicker learning to bind.

When I want to relax, I click - In PvE mostly.
I find key binding a lot more focus intensive and sometime I like to just revert back for the pleasure.
Also when I get flustered I forget binds, so revert back to clicking, but that'll come with time.

Anyhow, Elistist Keybinders in MMO's

The hardcore PC elitist who is atheist and attacks people for believing in a god, laughs at consoles and there exclusives, who ONLY buys indie games because they are not AAA, happens to be European, is 15-22 years old at the time, thinks all First Person Shooters are the same and refers to them as "shooty" games, who's favorite developer ever and only them is Valve, says that they can just Mod ever Bethesda game DLC, and practically mimics Yahtzee for game opinions.

Also, people who say they are gamers and only ever buy Call of Duty only.

I don't hate you for doing one the following but if you let that cloud your common sense.....ugh.
Know who I "hate"?

People that hate on someone simply because that someone likes a game/series/genre/developer that they don't. I mean, oh no! Someone likes something I don't! THEY MUST BE MORONIC FANBOYS!

(sorry, I get a lot of shit from people on this forum for liking the things I do. it gets tediously obnoxious at times)

Also, a few things I'm confused on; and not just from your post (I just quoted you because it was the last post I read).

What does being a "PC elitist" and an "aggressive atheist" have to do with each other? For that matter, what's wrong with being European?

I'm a PC gamer who is also an atheist but I sure as hell don't bring either into the other. And I certainly don't "bash" people for having their own faith. I know there are some who do, but being a PC elitist and an aggressive atheist aren't mutually inclusive. Besides, there are just as many, if not more, console-elitists out there. You've no ire for them? I know plenty, even on this very forum, who're just as fervent in their hate of PCs and other consoles as any PC elitist.

Oh, and one more thing:
> "thinks all First Person Shooters are the same and refers to them as "shooty" games"
> "who's favorite developer ever and only them is Valve"

Um...what?

I mean, unless you meant each of those points as a separate thought, perhaps? I don't know. The abundance of commas is confusing. If you did, then please ignore my last point.

Okay, there are a few other gamer "types" that I "hate". (such a strong word)

Hackers
Cheaters
Exploiters
Pirates
"Pro"-wannabes
Hypocritical elitists
Fanboys
Fanboy haters (oh the irony!)
Entitled Whiners
Griefers

Basically, any jerk-wad douche-bag who's sole purpose in life is to cause mayhem and misery among other gamers.

You can play pro. You can play casual. I don't care. I've done both over the years. Either is a valid way to enjoy gaming. Just don't be a dick about it towards others, m'kay?

-GIRL gamer, as in the ones that constantly make a big deal about how they play video games and that it shouldn't be a big deal. Not to be confused with a girl gamer, as in a girl that plays video games (also simply known as "gamer")
Played multiplayer games for over half of my life by now, from CS to all kind of MMOs to online RTS and back to FPS with CS:GO and TF2... Never even once I met a girl where your negative description fits. And since gaming is pretty much a standard part of my evening by now (the 1h has to be, even after work and uni) I should have ran into one by now. All girls I met online are regular gamers with whom I shared a few rockets in each other faces.

Maybe, just maybe people misuse this term or overestimate the amount of "gurrl gamers" there are...
Egh, I don't know about that. I've met, and even tourney-scrimmed with, a few who do legitimately game, but also blatantly use their gender (and the fact that they game) to garner attention.

More often, of course, you see the opposite. Most "girl gamers" will try to avoid drawing attention to their gender. Often because many male gamers will react...well...childishly in response. Usually with overtly sexual comments, insults, or sexist remarks.

Still, there are plenty of "attention whores" out there, if you'll pardon the term.

Gamers who buy the Prima Strategy guide and the game at the same time. I can understand If you've played the game a couple times or can't figure out a puzzle or whatever but why would you want to play a game and read every solution to every puzzle, every enemy's weak point, all the best upgrades. Especially when you have games like skyrim where the whole game is based on exploration. If your going to play the game and stick your face in the guide every five minutes you might as well just read the strategy guide and save sixty bucks.

Minecraft griefers. I've spent hours leveling an entire mountain, building an awesome castle, and then they log into your game and spend 5 minutes and destroy everything you've worked so hard to create. That's why I don't play Minecraft with my little brother.

Im kinda disapointed at so many people who are annoyed by others for simply liking certain things.
If someone does not like the same kind of game you do, its none of your buiseness as long as theyre not pushing it on you.

Personaly though I rather dislike elitism among gamers, especialy those who will say that casuals ruin everything.

Graphics gamers: Slowly destroying the industry by demanding every game look hyper photo realistic. In turn this makes games sacrifice game play and creativity. Also makes me have to buy a new console all the time or a new graphics card or a new pc. F*** YOU.

Metagamers: These splinter f**kers weed out every little advantage they can get no matter how cheap or game breaking it is and ring all the fun out of the game like a wet rag. They also tend to be very elitist.

White Knights: These horny desperate bastards roam around looking for every chance they can get to condemn anything that could be remotely offensive to some group of females whether its a good argument or not. They do this in hopes of getting laid by girls on the internet.

Assholes: Low-life, no manners, guys that harass anything that women say or do. They are extremely vulgar and hateful.

Ultra super high expectations gamers: These whiny brats play a game without reading ANYTHING about the game and expect way too much or the wrong thing entirely. They expect to be give free loot at every turn or superman to come out of the clouds and suck their d***.

Metagamers who do it wrong (Samus only, no items, Corneria... I hate to play Smash Bros. with my cousins).

PC elitists (I'm a PC gamer at heart, but I'm not an "elitist").

Moba fans, or better known as people with serious anger management issues yelling you to "uninstall the game and kill yourself".

Jerks in Xbox Live (in other words, many people).

MMO "enthusiasts" who poo-poo other games while praising their game of choice, kinda feels like the early console wars in the 90's when you're around these people long enough. They also tend to overuse the words "epic fail", "wow clone/s", "themepark", "sandbox" and "sandpark", whatever that means.

And people in any online game saying "im bored lol"... if you're so bored, why do you keep playing!??

My post was the common stereotype of this site, most of the time my hate happens all at once and that's where my hate comes from.

I have no hate towards an individual who shares a quality above, but everyone I manage to piss off somehow happens to be ALL of those qualities.

Probably flamers online who would only ever do it under the guise of anonymity. Really ruins things like League of Legends.

And, this isn't something that annoys me but more unsettles me, people who dismiss any woman trying to bring up a womans issue in gaming as a "gurl gamer". The typical 'gurl gamer' bugs me too, but sometimes I feel like hatred for that group is used to justify a "stfu and never mention your gender or gender issues in relation to gaming" attitude.
