What would you do if Jesus turned out to be real and came back?

as an atheist?well i'd first need to see him perform a miracle,then prove that he's the Jesus of at least ONE of the 30,000 different sects of Christianity.THEN i'd also need proof god,heaven,and hell all exist (redundant i know,but just to cover all the bases).then,finally,after all of that,if i like what he has to say,i'll willingly follow him.if not,well,if there is a hell,i'd rather burn forever than follow a complete douchebag.

Why would you need proof for all that? I agree that you'll need to like what he has to say and all. But why would he need to proof the mostly catholic myth (wether that was based on what Jesus preached or not). Is all of that so important? I rather wouldn't have him proof it all, I would feel I'd be following him or her for the wrong reasons.
The rest I agree with you though, rather burn in hell then follow something that I don't believe to be good. If Jesus really is/was the son of God and was/is on good terms with him, then Jesus would have a lot of explain to do (at gun point) before I would follow him.

Jesus was real. It has been proven that long ago (the time period slips my mind) there was a figure named Jesus. Whether or not you believe that he was the son of God is up to you.
Personally, I'd just like to have a nice, friendly conversation with him. He seems like he would be one of those people that are just nice to sit down and talk to for a bit.

As a christian, I believe that when Jesus returns the rapture will take place. I don't care about anyone elses opinions, and I would encourage those who are ignorant to actually read the new testament of the Bible.

P.S: Note that I don't care if you believe in him or not, but trying to bash on us saying he doesn't exist, trying to tell us we're fully wrong isn't a cool thing to do. There is a difference between 'opinions' and 'spatting out hate or disbelief'.

Do you have any sources that confirm the existence of Jesus? Something from when he was supposed to be alive, not documents or testimonies from decades after he supposedly died.

I'm a christian, not worried. People keep saying "I'm damned" but if I understand correctly you can be saved as long as you are alive and willing. I believe it says even after the rapture those that are left behind can still seek redemption.

My serious reaction would be one of mostly apathy. Sure, the (verifiable) return of such a being would turn my own personal beliefs into turmoil, but it wouldn't be that dramatic.

As I look at it, I am a good person. I do good things for the sake of my fellow man, not for personal gain. Not for a pat on the head. Just because it is something I feel I should do. If God and Heaven and all that is real, then I guess I will be judged based on my life. If there is a god that is so petty that I would be sent to Hell for not believing without being given a reason to believe, despite trying to live by good principles, then that isn't a god I would want to follow. If that isn't the case, then a fair judgement, and an adjustment of my own personal beliefs would be in order.

My personal stance on religion is, "Whatever floats your boat." I'm not here to hate, correct or argue, just to get along.

What do you mean by "IF" Jesus turned out to be real Jesus "IS" real and "IS" coming back. It is accepted by the overwhelmingly majority of scholars that Jesus was an actual historical figure. After all Chuck Norris has volunteered to remain on earth after the Rapture so he can fight the Anti-Christ

Of course he was real, but that doesn't mean he's going to come back to life 2000 years later.

First, I would poke him to see if he's tangible. Second, I would fire a rock at his face to see if he's not just some fuck claiming to be divine. Depending on how the second step goes, I would third either , A., become a Christian or, B., call my mom to see if she could post bail. Fourth, I would either, A., ask him what's up with the pyramids and Stonehenge, ask him if there are more physical dimensions than just the three we can perceive, ask him if he only populated this planet, why did Goodfellas lose the Best Picture Oscar to Dances with Wolves, ask him what's the deal with quantum mechanics, dark matter/energy, how the universe materialized, does time truly exist, or, B., explain to my mother that I do not plan to continue to lead my life down this self-destructive path.
