My big bulky caveman PS2 works great, so about ten years. Got it near PS2 launch.

My grandparents have a Sega Genesis that still works...

Pretty self explanatory.

My current Xbox has been in service the last 4 and a half years, and I'm going to retire it on the 20th, in favor of the new GoW3 Xbox.
Well, my NES still works...

Lol, and my Xbox 360 has been working for 5 years, it was my friends before it was mine, he gave it to me.

Well I still have an original PS2, so I'd say, maybe 7 years? I think the PS2 came out around 2004, and I got mine soon after it was released so that'll be my oldest.

I have an Atari that still works, but as I've owned almost every system put out I have to say that I have been impressed with the fact that they are well made...at least until I bought a PS3.

8 months later and I had to send it off to get repaired.

Original Gameboy from around 1989 still works. Top-loading and standard NES from 1985ish still works.

Unfortunately, my SNES broke :(, but I think that's the only console I have that doesn't work anymore: My Genesis, PS1, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, Nintendo 64, GBC, GBA etc. all still work as well.

My NES from when I was 8 still works today. I have it hooked up to a small tv in my bedroom for playing at night before bed.

Also, interesting note, my original launch 360 is still going, even though it sounds like a jet engine now.

My Xbox 360 has worked since Christmas 2007, without a single hiccup.

Also, I still play my stable N64 every now and again. I have had it for about 13 years.

Pikachu Special Edition N64 is my oldest fully working system.

But i have a Sega Saturn that runs, but freezes up or just shuts down every 10-15 minutes.
): Which sucks because i really wanna play my Casper game i have for it.

Well all my consoles still work but I'm pleased that my original day-one release version of the 360 still works with no red rings of death.

Unfortunately a month after getting my new-gen PS3 it died.

My god i am gonna feel so old.....

My Colecovision, bought for me by my parents back in 83, still works to this day. I turn it on everyday and play Donkey Kong and Smurfs : Rescue from Gargamel's Castle.

Well my PlayStation(1999?) still works, my N64(2001) still works, my Gamecube(2004?) still works, my 360(2010?) still works, and I recently bought a Sega Genesis, but the power cable doesn't work.

Lovign the fact so many old Sega Genesis and SNES consoles are out there and still kicking!

16 bit represent!

So, I've got a SEGA Genesis, Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), N64, Xbox (Original Launch Big Black X-Brick), Xbox 360 (Orignal Launch White Brick-360) and a Wii (Original Launch Wii Sports edition). All these consoles are hooked up to a single 52" LCD TV, just because I can. With Surround Sound for the current Gen consoles. All of them work perfectly fine, except the 360, which sounds like a jet engine and has Red Ringed Of Death not once, not twice, but THREE FREAKING TIMES! Been fixed by microsoft and returned all three, under warranty all times.

The Genesis and SNES were scabbed off my Uncle because he went the PS route and ditched Nintendo. I was more than happy to do a weekends chores for him in return for the much loved old consoles. The N64 was bought of a family friend who was collecting all the consoles but was forced to move on short notice to another country with little storage space, so I'm not actually sure how old it is...

As for handhelds, still got my original Gameboy. Got it the day it came out, with Tetris and Mario Bros. Many long years were spent playing and replaying Pokemon Yellow on long roadtrips. My current save is at Cerulean City, mostly cause I'm the one doing all the driving these days!

My N64 still works great, and I've had it for over 10 years. My aunt's original NES that she gave to me works but I don't have any of the cords.

As far as Xbox's go, I gave my old Xbox to my now-ex girlfriend, so I don't know if that still works, and my latest is the Reach 360, so not very long.

Does it count if it's 2 Gamecubes I've had for 7 years that are now one Gamecube? I call it Frankencube and it has some Purple parts and some black parts.
Sounds damn sexy!

The PC I'm typing on is nearly 2 years old, but my family once had a PC that ran Windows 98 and survived regular usage up to 2009.
