A long time ago before i properly explored the internet, I had never had any idea on usernames and for a bit just used my real name for my Warcraft 3 account and about a few months before I realized: This sucked and was boring.

So at the time I was young and while thinking up a name I thought of a cartoon I'd watched of someone somewhat stupid yelling GRAVY! (bonus points for knowing who) Then I realized a lot of usernames were spelled.... In a stupid way that doesn't make you look cool in any way shape o form differently. So keeping this idea in my head I concluded I needed a variation of the word.

For a while nothing came to mind and as I was playing through a certain custom game, a trap went off and CHEESE GO BOOM!!! came up - and finally I had the idea that explosive cheese, could be an invention for the name. Going back I spelt it Gravee.
This was too short and really - quite boring, so I thought of lots of thoughts until finally - I simply thought something that says 'British'. King came to mind and hence forth GraveeKing was born. So simplified down it technically means: "Leader of the explosive cheese"

Actually, nothing to do with space travel or sci-fi.

Back about 10 years ago, I was working on a project involving undersea fiber-optic cables when I joined the forums at the Motley Fool. I ended up picking sub(submarine) and light(fiber optics)= sublight. And that's been the name I've held on to ever since.

Simple really. My name is Joseph (Joe) and I am a fan of the Colorado Avalanche NHL team (Avs). I put together this username about 7 or 8 years ago and have been using it everywhere ever since (unless it has been taken in which case I use AvsJosh; see my PSN handle). The fact that Colorado's greatest and most famous forward is also named Joe (Sakic) is a coincidence.

Hitokiri Gensai was a renowned Assassin during the 1860's, most well known for cutting down Sakuma Shozan in broad daylight with a single stroke. He was said to have been feminine in appearance, although his outward appearance and his inner were vastly different.

I study Iaido, and Kendo, and have since i was a little girl, being that i favour Iai over Kendo, i was called Gensai as a kid because of my ability in iaido demonstration, which was supposedly Gensai's style of swordsmenship, although being that he died in 1871 with no heir, its not sure exactly what his sword art was. Gensai was said to have studied under Todoroki Buhei, but records of the period were stark at best.

It should be remembered that this was a period of unrest and revolution and many small details were forgotten or left unsaid.

I got this from the name of a legacy weapon in D&D. Can't remember what the book is called, but the weapon was a holy sword. I first used it for the name of my paladin in Wow, and have been using it ever since.

Not really much to tell, came up with it as a replacement for my original username, as it had grown suspiciously popular since I started using it and was becoming less and less available.

It's also the name of a race I made up purely inside my own head, so go figure.

I misheard the Disturbed song "Avarice", specifically the line "avarice will kill you in time". I thought he said "Everix", but that isn't a word. I thought it sounded cool so I started using it.

(The line is at about 0:50 if you care)

It's a combination of morbid & abyss. I created it in my first Black Metal band All Consuming Blackness back in '01'.
