What's the story behind your username?

I had a really stupid username to begin with that I used for pretty much everything. I'm not even going to say what it was, it was that bad. But yeah once I found out you could switch usernames, I decided that I would take advantage of that. It happened to be the day after I beat Professor Layton and the Curious Village and I loved it so much that I named myself after it. Well, now I sign up to pretty much everything as "ProfessorLayton."
Well before I used this I had the totally original AshMan (*groan*), this was during an age when I was playing a lot of browser based games and I had just stumbled across one based on ninjas. AshMan was taken and I wanted to find a cool ninja sounding name so I looked at some name generators, after a bit of searching I decided to combine a few of the names and came up with the username Ranooth.
Been using it ever since for everything as A) I think it sounds cool, and B) No one else in the world uses it.

I used to play Spore for a while, and I named one of my creatures a "scorpatious". After that, I discovered I could show off my creations through Youtube. So I decided to sign up for an account. I used the name of my creation as my username, but accidentally put in a "t" within the name. And thus, the username "scorptatious" was created. And no, I don't have any Spore videos on my channel.
It's the name of the protagonist in my favorite novel series, the "Dead" trilogy by Richard Calder. I think I've read each book in it 20+ times. I adore it so. >_<

Well... my name originated from my WoW main (a Feral Druid). It means a number of things really. Besides sounding like a nifty/simple/goofy name some believe it means "fat and happy" (which it apparently does in some slang dictionaries) while others immediately think of masturbation (fapfapfap). While I did consider the ladder when I created the name, the true inspiration for the name came from the first three letters in the name: FAPpy. FAP was WoW slang for "Feral Attack Power" back when there was such a thing, and I was one of the best kitty druids on my server back in the day.
Its a fun name I use for a lot of things, but its not the only one.

Mine username is a direct German translation of "sky" (Himmel) and "walker" (gehen=to go/walk, geher=one who goes/walks). Combining my heritage and my love of science fiction. I use it pretty much everywhere.

So we managed to come up with this. Not really sure where it came from now. We were just brain storming but it's not too bad

I have to admit that mine is fairly average. My old name was "Aaron4212". When I was a kid id'e always have to call my mom at work to check in after I got home from school and id'e give the secratary her extension which was 4212. That code stuck with me so well I used it for everything. But when I made it my 360 gamer tag countless friends would ask me what it meant. So I decided to make it "aarontg" with the TG being my hiphenated last name which its Travis-Garbutt. It's still as non-self explanatory but it sticks out less than 4212.
Well, whenever I made this username I was actually joining the website GameFAQS, I went through all the names I could, trying to find one. I was akin to making up RPGs in my head and following through them all the way through until they were done. I liked making up different types of dragons that I'd been inspired by from playing FF games and other RPGs. So I decided on Flare Dragon. But it was taken -_- so when shown the options of different names I decided I would just make my own and thus Flare_Dragon123 was born.
I like the name myself. Its been a great persona for all my video game related purposes, be it RPG Maker, Video Game Reviews, Video Game Forum Screenname... blah blah blah.

I have two that I use regularly. I shall provide the stories for both.
Baby Raptor: When I first moved in with my roommate, we were dating. The day after I drove up here (9 hour drive in terribad weather) he tried to wake me up for some reason. I hissed at him. He goes "Aw, like a little baby raptor!" A couple days later, a friend of mine on WoW did something that really made me angry. He tried to bribe me back into his good graces by buying me one of the baby raptor minipets. I was playing a healer back then, and in a bored moment during an easy boss fight, summoned the raptor. I then promptly squealed into everyone's ears over Vent about how cute it was, causing alot of "Fuck, Yas!"s and a wipe. That cemented "Baby Raptor" as my nickname.
Sadistic Pretzel: Pretzels are my favorite food. Any sort of pretzel, really, though soft ones covered in tons of salt are best. Seriously. If I were a pony, my cutie mark would be a pretzel. Anyway, remember awhile back when President Bush had that incident where he choked on a pretzel? Well, one of the guys in my unit made the comment that it must have been "a really sadistic pretzel." My friends and I got to talking about it later and someone pointed out that it would make a hilarious screen name for me because of my love of pretzels.

"Lilitu" is an akkadian-babylonian demon or goddess. She is shown with raised arms, with wings or cape and vulture-feet. At her feet are the horned animals.
