When did you get your first M rated game?

Kida the same as some others, mine was Mortal Kombat for the SNES, that was the first i played, the first my cousin bought for me was Vice City and San Andreas was the first i bought myself (well it was my money but i didnt go in and get it)
Technically the first i bought being of legal age was Red Dead Redemption, since i only turned 18 in june last year.
I love having that older sibling/family member who loves to game and buys you great titles

Red Dead Revolver was not only my first PS2 game, but also my first M game. Let's see, that was Christmas of...2003. Guess I was twelve.
I convinced my mother to let me buy a copy of GTA Vice City when I was 15. She knew about the game and the alarmist reports she'd heard about on TV, but after about a minute or so of thinking she decided I was mature enough to handle the content even if I was two years away from 17 to buy my own M rated games.
Incidentally the used copy I bought became unplayable two years later when I was 17 so I ended up buying it on my own when I was of the legal age anyway.

Probably Fable at 13. I played some Mortal Kombat game before that though. I always preferred soulcalibur.
Doom at age 5 I think. I can't believe that it was ever considered an 18/M rated game because now that kind of age rating is just laughable in todays video game world.
I was never, and still am not really a fan of uber grapic violence. Just, not my thing. BUT, my first, i guess "M" rated game, if you can call it M rated or even a ligit GAME, was a mod of Wolfenstein, the original, that replaced the regular Mobs with Beavis and ButtHead, and the bosses with Barney the Dinosar. Yeah...( I was 13 or 14ish at the time, that was...17, 18 years ago..LOL) Did a little Doom back in the day, when it was new, on the PC... not a huge fan but it's what everyone was playing in the computer labs at school, so, i joined in.rickvhoeij said:Does Wolfenstein 3D count? Since then, again, i'm not much for grapic violence, but I've played (and enjoyed) Halo, 1, and 2. (never finished 3) Currently Mass Effect is about as graphic as it gets for me, and my only other M rated games (I have 2 as well, eagerly awaiting 3..) i accually own, besides the halo's.
I got Tenchu: Stealth Assassins when I was 12. Still haven't put on a face mask and started cutting peoples heads off yet. As a side note, tenchu is one of my favorite video game series of all time, they need to move to 360 so i can play again.SAT4NSLILHELPER said:
